One day, after my ex-husband slapped me and took his anger out on me, he just went on to watch TV as if nothing happened.

My little boy was sitting right next to me, watching everything. He was shocked and upset, and I was still processing what had just happened.

The reasons for the abuse were so small, it didn’t even make sense.

I looked at my son and saw him wiping something near his eyes.

I asked, “What happened, baby? Are you crying?”

He said, “No, amma. Something went in my eye, and I was trying to take it out.”

But I knew he was lying. He didn’t want to make me more upset.

Later, we discussed it, and he admitted that he had been crying.

That day, something inside me changed. I realized that the abuse wasn’t just hurting me, it was hurting my son too.

Until then, I was the naive woman who listened to everything my husband said. He slapped me, insulted me, and used terrible words, but I always forgave him for my son’s sake.

But that day, I realized the person I was sacrificing for was the one suffering the most. Was I not responsible for giving him the life he deserved?

That was the day I decided to change.

I went from being soft and naive to becoming strong and bold.

A month later, I left with my child.

11 RULES OF S€X DURING DATING.

The Last Day: A Love Lost

Tasin and Nika had always been close. From the moment they met, there was something special between them. They couldn’t imagine their lives without each other. They spent their days together, enjoying every little moment, and promised to always be there for one another.

But life, as it sometimes does, took a different turn.

On February 26th, 2017, the evening was calm and beautiful. The sky was a soft purple, and the air smelled like spring. Tasin had planned a surprise dinner for Nika at their favorite little cafe by the lake, a place they both loved.

As Tasin waited for Nika to arrive, he sent her a text. “I’ll see you soon, my love.”

But as the minutes passed, she didn’t show up.

Tasin’s heart started to race. He called her. No answer. He drove to her apartment, but she wasn’t there.

Then, he got the call.

A voice on the phone told him, “Tasin, we’re so sorry, but there’s been an accident. It’s Nika. She… she didn’t make it.”

Tasin’s world fell apart.

Nika had been on her way to meet him when a car lost control and hit her. The driver didn’t stop.

Tasin rushed to the hospital, his mind racing with hope. But when he arrived, it was too late. Nika was gone.

He held her hand, feeling the coldness of her skin. He couldn’t believe it. How could she be gone? They had so many dreams, so many plans for the future.

Days went by, but nothing felt right. Nika’s absence left a hole in Tasin’s heart. He missed her smile, her laugh, everything about her. The cafe by the lake was quiet now, a place full of memories.

Every year on February 26th, Tasin would visit the lake. He’d sit by the water, thinking of Nika and whispering her name to the wind. Even though she was gone, he knew she would always be with him, in his heart. Some loves never truly leave—they live on in the ones who remember.
