Been zoned out for a couple of days working on this self portrait. As I was shaping my own features on the canvas, I couldn't help but appreciate "Tash" more. I found myself in a therapeutic space of knowing and loving thyself. I want to be inspired in that space a while longer...I'm curious to see how this piece evolves. #tashleake

Adding a layer of contrast. I found that I rush my artwork a lot. When I see what I think is good, I tend to stop as if the piece is completed. I'm learning more patience, not only with art, but in life. Some of the most rewarding things come after patience and persistence.
