• now yall are sitting side by side on the bus • radio silence……... • but just when you were about to say something, he does too • (ah shit, here we go again) • but surprise surprise! • he actually went “oh haha sorry no no you go first” • “oh noo you first. mr lee donghyuck, please” • now he’s stalling and fumbling around with hands • “um. yeah. i know i’ve been annoying and stuff but... i don't know…” • huh? what? is he. Huh? • “it's just so fun to like make fun of you and stuff” • “and like generally lessons are always more fun when you're around…” • Oh. My. God. he’s confessing. • “but yeah. i like you so um, that’s all.” • you feel your cheeks start burning and your heartbeat is getting louder and faster • when you think about it, you should’ve seen it coming • johnny DID mention how down and quiet he was when you were sick that week…. • he looked away out the window after saying that • it gave you the perfect opportunity to kiss him on the cheek • and my god his ears got so red they were shining • and then you told him that you liked him too • “FOR REAL? Ahem. I mean. Haha. duh~ it’s me, lee donghyuck. what’s there not to like~” • you roll your eyes but can’t help but to grin. • ding dong suddenly it’s your stop (that was kind of fast….) • he’s walking you home but • he’s quiet, you’re quiet. both as red as stoplights • this……it’s… kinda awkward. • nevermind, no it’s not — he’s goofing around like an idiot again • playing catch on the pavement like little children • he sticks out his tongue like a child and provokes you to catch him • after much push and pulling from him, you catch him and run as fast as you can • without much effort, he catches you rather quickly • by the hand • he is Holding Your Hand • ooooh this cute bastard. • he pulls you close to him and grabs your face • more like squeezing your cheeks but • he kisses you on the forehead. twice. • “okay i kissed you twice so you owe me one back now” • he can’t be sweet without being annoying first huh. • but now you’re at the lobby and my god • how much you wished you could’ve asked him to stay over that night • outside your door, you look down from the balcony • he runs around playfully like a kid and waves goodbye with both of his hands as wide as he can go • “BYEEEEE. REST WELLLLLLLL. TEXT MEEEEE” • you shush him but he just smiles and laughs • you linger outside your door just a bit longer and wave goodbye back. • this was the start of a love that would last a lifetime.

• one fine day after class, he popped a question • in his usual stupidly annoying cheeky funky playful tone that you hated oh so much. but maybe, • just maybe, you'd miss all of these when this class ends for good • "yo bruh, ummmm.. you free to hang tonight? wanna drop by 7-11 to get some ramyeon?" • honestly, you were Too Stunned To Speak • so the fool you are just nodded to agree, unknowingly • and goofy haechan suddenly dived into celebratory mode • fella looked like he just won the lottery. Weirdo. • "Cooool. See you at the front entrance later bruh" • and you guys just stood there, with him staring at you • until you walked away, in deep confusion • annd, maybe you were lowkey heartbroken.  • because damn... why'd he call me bruh :( • but then you recalled how much of a jokester he is,  • dude literally fools around with anyone... right... right..! • everyone on campus is on #Bro terms with him, how could you forget that • so you brushed it off at that instant • but!!!! haha this shit came back to haunt ur mind for the entire time in class • you were practically zoning out into your own universe • ‘til your bestie tapped you back to reality, when the final class was over. • you then started getting nervous upon walking nearer to the entrance • and just when you were about to stop in your tracks, • haechan goes BOO! from behind • and tucks his arm around your shoulders • AH of course! there will never be a time when he is Not Annoying! • “HEYYYY UR EARLY” • “yeaaah hahaha” • and then silence. • but..... why does he still have his hands around you? • does he... realise... that he’s still hugging you....? • and as if he read your mind, he suddenly jerked away. • face looking kinda red too • Interesting. • the walk to the convenience store? AAAWKWARD~ • none of y’all spoke. • but thank god for your phone falling out of your hand, the atmosphere turned lively • he caught your phone, • and you guys started laughing out loud. • “i swear you cursed this upon me, there’s no way you could’ve caught that” • “hello? i’m the God of Reflexes for a reason. Lee Dong Hyuck, for you” • at 7-11, suddenly he’s doing everything for you. EVERYTHING. • he helped you clank open your drink without asking, • helped you to hold your food which, btw, was Too Hot To Handle • even helped to clear the trash, and insisted that you sit your ass down • “dont even lift a finger. fr” • very odd isn’t it. • since when has he become sweet? • or.... are you just reading too much into things. • but then like, • NOW! he is pestering to send you home. oh my GOD? • not to just send you off at the bus stop btw, • he actually insisted on walking you to your apartment. • but the thing is.. he stays in the dorms. • and your house is like, an hour away. • “you never know what happens! it’s getting late dude, and you’re a girl. *silence* w-woah no i don’t want you to get the wrong idea. gotta clarify. i’m not saying girls can’t take care of themselves. no nooo. what i’m trying to say is.... *another silence* • i just want to make sure you get home safe.” • and he looks away. • dying inside knowing what he just spouted. • “okay finnne i guess, do i even have a choice?” • he grins brightly at you and starts snickering away. • “shut up. let’s go you doofus”

• you’re in your second year of university • amidst the core subjects, you have to take up extra electives too • just so you can /graduate/ • school sucks • but that's how you ended up being situated right beside The (In)Famous Lee Dong Hyuck.  • who just so happens (very unfortunately) to be your groupmate for the entire semester as well • wait, he’s kind of cute lol :P • or so you thought..... • because when it comes to group work, this mf JUST CANNOT STOP TALKING! • once you accidentally dropped ur pen and he went "OOOH LOOK WHOO DROPPED HER PEN AND BROKE IT~~~  WHATTA LOSER!!!!" • and another time, he thought it was a great idea to poke you with staple bullets????  • like what is up with this dude? what is going on inside his head??? • if he's not speaking, he'll be poking tf outta you — verbally and Yes, physically • you see.. you’re the more soft-spoken silent type but  • oooooh this mf just tests your patience   • one fine day, you've Had Enough. • so you gave him a taste of his own medicine and teased him just like he does it  • and for the first time ever, he’s silent. he was Stunned. • like!!!!! this mf who never shuts up even in his sleep actually Got His Mouth To Shut.  • look at you go. Your Power!  • little did you know, he was Flustered. as fuck.  • bc he never expected someone to dish it back to him, much less you • but he says and you quote “I, Lee Dong Hyuck, can Never Lose”. • and hence started The Battle of Annoying The Hell Out of Each Other. • you'd ignore him on purpose but then he'll poke u x5 more than before • and surprise surprise, He Wins. • All The Damn Time. • but you'd Take Him Down Completely the next moment by being the most annoying you've been since birth • this perilous battle happened for the whole damn semester  • y'all are just going at it with each other, even beyond class • whenever anyone else sees you guys they'd get so mf annoyed bc 🙄🙄 • can they PLEASE get tgt alr • one day y’all were bickering non-stop till ur professor had to call y'all out (in this universe, professors care)  • they pointed to you guys and went "if you two are done flirting, please pay attention to this next point. you’ll find it fairly important to the next assignment."  • and yup, you guessed it right — the entire class and their mothers were cooing at you guys, getting all excited • embarrassed would be an understatement of how you guys were both feeling • y'all were like "HABDJWBJD WHAT? US? FLIRTING? PLEASEEE"  • but at the same time, your faces were turning redder than ripe tomatoes • obviously, the two of you couldn’t look in the other direction until class was over.
