i’m kinda really annoyed at kawaguchi haruna’s irritating character. japan seems to like putting in these kinds of naive slow female side characters when they have a genius main male character as the focus. actually, all the characters in this are pretty stereotypical, much like most other dramas, but for some reason it’s a bit more annoying for me in this.

but watching fujiki naohito be a cold bastard is kinda fun XD

so... i understand the reason and all that, but it still doesn’t seem like enough motivation to go through everything he’s set up. if it is, then it’s not nearly as interesting as i had hoped. however! the preview for the next ep shows a bit of promise of something more? hopefully? maybe?!

scandal senmon bengoshi queen - 01

so... i was absolutely loving this haha. first of all, takeuchi yuko is gorgeous, as always. and mizukawa asami! i feel like i haven’t seen her in a mainstream show in a while and i miss her.

and this first episode was interesting. i think it set a good tone for the show and was an easy introduction to the characters and what they do, because it’s probably not something a lot of people understand.

however! what is up with this boring ass outfit?! if i was to do something like this i’d definitely pick cooler clothes. and who says only certain people can dress this way. so typical... i feel like these societal issues are being given more spotlight with some shows lately, which seems good. i’m just curious how much it will actually reach into the real world...

no, i haven’t read the manga. no, i won’t be reading it at this time.

the characterization of the kids are predictable, but i guess that’s how they always are... the demons were creepier than i expected though haha.

i read some comparison to made in abyss and now i can’t unsee it >.> (oh! maybe i’ll read that instead) so far it seems like it’ll be a similar feeling, so i’ll probably enjoy it while half covering my eyes hahaha
