The company’s logo, “Tanglaw-Celestial Candle,” is taken from the Filipino word “lighting,” which refers to “light to guide one’s path.” In folklore, the name “tanglaw” is derived word from the word Fookien Chinese word, teng lau, which means torch in Filipino language or ‘a light to guide one’s path’ just like our chosen design constellations which are used before to determine a desired direction or location way back decades ago.
