Well this is a neat easter egg, is it intentional?

On day 8 of Santaclautch, if you look at the Tama TV, you see that the Tamagotchi Angel brought the sad christmas tree that Devilgotchi kicked over to life...

Today, I fixed the date on my Tamagotchi connection, and I just looked over to see that same christmas tree as an idle animation. I wonder if this is something that always happens on December 8th on a connection or if I just have weirdly good timing.
