Anyway, that love scene was perfect. It was perfect for the characters, the relationship and the kind of series we've been watching for six episodes. I think occasionally a series will have a raunchy or more explicit love scene than what seems appropriate for the series because that's what they think viewers want. But they got it just right!

What was important to me about the scene is that Rak made the first move and set the pace.

People obsess over this top/bottom stuff to the point of distraction. It's not always about that with every sexual encounter. I think that it was very clear to Pam that Rak was not comfortable with their relationship in episode 5 and wasn't really ready to truly be together. I think this is why she didn't try to kiss Rak in episode 5 and didn't even in this episode as we heard several times Rak saying she feels guilty and thinks their love is wrong.

Again, Pam didn't push for anything more. So yeah I just think it was really important to Pam to take her cues from Rak and let Rak decide what they are and how far they go in every aspect because she was ALL IN and waiting for Rak to meet her where she's at - AND if someone is showing hesitancy, you really wanna know they're sure and that they're not just doing what you want to do. So yeah, anyway, Rak initiating that encounter was also what made this intimate scene perfect for the story as well.
