I'm going to try and doodle the new P5 girl tomorrow I think...... I gotta rewatch the trailer a few times so I can get down all the details of her fit, but after that I'm going to be drawing her so much. She is so blorbo to me. I'm already thinking about potential dynamics with her and the Thieves. I hope she's good friends with Ann especially they're both special to me :} hype each other up ykyk

Haha no worries!! I love it when people comment stuff on my posts so please don't feel shy!! I love a lot of things about P5 and the base designs are one of them: I could talk about them for ages tbh.

I got really happy seeing all your analysis actually! I never really thought about Freya also being a parallel to Joker but yeah.... now that I think harder about it, that makes sense. They really push Sumire so SO hard as your love interest and it just... eugh. Let me decide I like her on my own terms!! Jeez!

Can agree about Milady being pink when Haru is purple, too: in a perfect world, they'd match more color wise; but even so she still manages to have a banger design and I love how it's like..deadly elegance with her big poofy dress and GUNS! It's so cool!!

I also don't vibe with Akechi's black mask design one of my friends said once he looks like an "emo barbershop pole" and while I CACKLED, they're sadly not wrong. It's just slapped together!

Oh, you're making videos on redesigns? I'll have to check those out! :0 I love seeing people make redesigns.

I gotta say, perhaps an unpopular opinion, but honestly? I like all the Phantom Thieves' initial Personas better than their final ones, they just fit the overall aesthetic better. Sure Satanael looks great but idk...nothing tops Arsene for me.

And yes this includes the 3rd tiers too: I actually don't like a lot of them. William basically looks like Sans and so many people have made Undertale jokes I want to cry. Gorokichi...eh. He's TOO extra for me: I much prefer Goemon's design. Raoul's better than Satanael but he's not story relevant at all, you have to pay to get him which is dumb as hell. Agnes is way too clunky I don't like her design at all and Futaba's 3rd tier looks...weird. Haru's, Mona's and Ann's are okay though.

The only characters I like the third tiers best are Akechi and Kasumi but like... they're not PT. And before you jump on me, Goro himself says he's not one of them so don't think I'm being exclusive for no reason. Same with Kasumi, when you meet her in Sae's Palace she's all like "well i'm not a pt so i can't stop you" or something along those lines. Violet and Crow are allies, not full blown members; so again, I like all the Phantom Thieves initial Personas best.
