Headcanon: Terzo and Mary Goore are the Same Person.

Terzo didn't want to participate in his dad's "ministry band" so he ran off to start his own band under the stage name Mary Goore. After Repugnant's lack of success, he returned to the ministry and ended up becoming Papa.

The only evidence I really have for this is the fact that the only Ghost song with a metal sound is Mummy Dust, which is from Terzo's era. Plus, the photo of Mary Goore in a nun's habit, assuming he borrowed it from a sister of sin.

To add to this, part of Copia preparing to become Papa was learning how to growl so Ghost could continue to perform Mummy Dust at rituals. He had so much fun with it that he incorporated a growl in Spillways.
