ive seen a few sonic age charts and masterposts over the years but most of them either had some kind of inaccuracy or used uncredited fanart so i decided to make my own. its not very good but idk i tried

i didnt include Every Sonic Character Ever but i included as many as i could think of, also all of this information comes from official character profiles and game manuals and stuff like that. hope this can be helpful

(also theres even more notes in the tags (mostly regarding shadow and mighty as well as a few characters that i didnt put on the chart) because i didnt want this post to be a mile long and there was some stuff i just couldnt fit on there)

the worst part about getting into sonic in your late teens is that you didn’t spend a gross amount of time as a child drawing sonic-style so when you get the hankering to draw your new-found faves in cool outfits you can’t because you haven’t got the patience to learn a new art style

:D ok! i’ve updated the Sonic character anatomy, this is basic though but i really hope is easy to understand (because i’ think i’m not good enough explaining things with words lol) and it results useful to anyone who might need it ^_^  

just some other tips to improve:

try drawing comics! on comics you have to try new poses, angles and expressions.. is reaally helpful to improve your drawing skills!

look at official art for reference

listen to cool music! XD it always helps to get inspired hehe
