She’s hunted him down, and she looks close to bawling her eyes out. Two little arms are reaching up and outright demanding a hug.

...Oh dear. Ohhhhhhhh dear.

“...D-don’t look at me like that. We’re both going to end up a mess, and I’m trying to face this whole situation with some decorum. I’ve been in apocalypse scenarios before, I should... know how to handle this.”

Zack paused for a moment, his chest heaving as small bursts of breath left his nostrils. He was quiet, maybe too quiet for people that knew him well enough as he extended a hand, hovering it between the space of him and Iori. A finger trembled as the hand shot out, followed by Zack’s entire body as it embraced the other in a rather tight hug. 

“I don’t ever wanna lose you dude. You’re family to me and I love you.”

 Maybe this came from a space where he never got to say to the people back home. They were only memories now. memories that live in his heart, but today he had a chance and he wasn’t gonna let it go.

For a moment, Iori’s posture remained tense. Seeing Zack vulnerable was a rare and unpleasant occurrence--one that only happened twice before in the tailor’s memory. The hesitation, the embrace...

He was afraid. And stoic as Iori always seemed, even in grave circumstances, Zack Ledger always seemed to have the resolve to continue in impossible odds. It was why the two respected each other, really; the admiration between the two was mutual, if buried behind two very different personalities. One that, he supposed...

He may not see again.

Clad in a labcoat, two arms reached back around, closing around the other with uncertainty.

“...If you’re in here making doomsday confessions, then this must be the end, isn’t it?”

It was murmured in resignation. 

“You’ll hardly remember me if you leave. You don’t have a reason to be upset, you know.”

...It’s almost as if the tailor doubted his own words.

anyway no lie i love the fact that once we got over the initial hurt and surprise – and like, i was a mod years ago, i was an assistant up until this shit went down, i was bawling last night when i first heard – we all just collectively decided città was canceled and decided to go wild on the dash

this is what i mean, man. this is what i mean by it not being the place that made città. it was the community. it was us, the group, a family. i came back on glados after years and felt like i had never left. i’ve been here since its initial run on one blog or another, and it’s because of città that i got so close to my gf to call them my best friend and fall for them to begin with, and have made so many other friends besides that. but it was never.. because it was città. it was because of who was at città.

i love you guys all so, so much.

we’ll get through this – all of this. we’ll be okay.

Me and me four blogs (Iori, Anda, Delta, Iskandar) are moving over to the new group when it starts running, so make no mistake on that! I love this community dearly, and where it goes, I go!

It seems even Iori was drawn out to the party, despite his previous statements about not going out in the sun. And really, it wasn’t... terrible. It was horribly boring to just sit by a pool with nothing to do, though. Hence...

...Opening a poolside shop in a little beach tent. At least he was dressed in theme, and not in his usual frumpy attire.

“Don’t look at me like that. Bathing suits snap, break, or tear sometimes anyway.”

Calling it a ‘shop’ was pretty generous, considering the price of most of the items were laughably inexpensive.

“Did you need something?”
