It was a struggle to sleep, so much had happened in such a short space of time, Rosalind, the settlement, the school and students, everything. Processing it all was one thing, trying to do right by the boys, by the students, the other faculty, the kids...By Farah. Fenyx’ head felt like it was going to explode the more and more she thought about it, and sleep proved too elusive to grant her a reprieve.
So barefoot and clad in her pyjamas, the fire fairy wandered to the teachers’ lounge to sit and try to ease some of the tension from herself with a soothing cup of tea and perhaps some meditation. Which was what she was doing, sat on the rug in front of the roaring hearth when she felt the other fairy come in. Fenyx didn’t speak, thinking that whoever it was would grab what they needed and leave, but she should have known who it could only have been.
“Kettle’s just boiled if you’re planning to make tea, dear.”

“It’s good to see you again, ma chéri, I did wonder when you would next waltz through my door, regardless of circumstance.” It wasn’t often Rosemary got to have a social life outside of her nightclub, keeping the clan and her customers safe as well as her remaining children took up most of her time. Settling debates and family squabbles, making alliances with neighbouring clans, even the occasional coven or pack that passed through from time to time. It was all part of her work that came with the title of Clan Queen.
But occasionally, there were times when Rosemary could drop her rank and the pent up stress and tension, and just be herself. With Siobhan she could do that, she felt safe enough to drop her walls and let her see the real Rosemary Nightingale, as a lover or a friend it didn’t really matter.

The ER had been in utter chaos and a disaster waiting to happen, Madeleine had never felt so right at home, going back to her humble roots and hometown. Her parents had been ecstatic to have her back in the same state, let alone same city and it seemed only one of the familiar faces at her old stomping round had recognised her. Gloria had been one of the best nurses Madeleine had worked with, had seen her as a guide and confidant when she had first started as a young and impressionable junior doctor, so Madeleine had jumped at the chance to return and see her old friend.
Alas it had been cut short by the excess flow of trauma patients the ER had been flooded with and the blonde had only been too happy to help out, now it was over, Madeleine took a moment to rest in the old corridor near the chapel, though she would never go in - too much of a prideful atheist was she - coffee in one hand and ID card flipping between the fingers of her free hand, when the clipping of high heels hit her ears growing closer by the second.
“Didn’t have you pegged as the religious sort, Doctor O’Hara?”

It was a shame really, her usual Saturday night gaggle of girls that accompanied her to the bar were all busy that night, with each other in their couples or singularly, Danica-Rose didn’t ask. She could it better not to ask, though it meant she was alone, sat in the far corner booth with her lonely cigarette all dolled up, watching the other couples of her persuasion dance and have fun. A shame indeed.
Still she occupied her time, watching the groups of women for perhaps a free lovely lady to steal a dance with, and if she got bored of that, the book in her bag would begrudgingly keep her company until she would be approached. Danica-Rose was entertaining the thought of her book when she noticed another lonely looking stranger across the room, smoking her own cigarette.
Well, at least she wasn’t the only one on her own, though the brunette thought that to be a travesty the more she looked at the other woman. A well cut suit jacket, beautifully curled hair and an almost sinful shade of red lipstick, surely she couldn’t have been alone? Surely there was a lucky woman, an extremely lucky woman the librarian was sure of, just getting drinks or in the restroom? Still, she couldn’t help but let her gaze wonder, fair delicate looking skin, gentle kindly features, tall - Danica-Rose was sure of that - smart trousers and heels that went very well together, obviously the woman had good taste. As she let her gaze trail back up to take in the woman face once more, to try and get a better gauge of her, she noticed the startlingly bright baby blues staring straight back at her.
The game was up, she’d been caught and a part of her wasn’t even sorry. She smiled a little, it was bordering on a smirk really, and tilted her head towards the rest of the booth she was occupying, an invitation for the beautiful stranger to join her if she wished.

“Oh my god...Oh my god! You’re...You’re real?! You’re actually real?! Bleedin’ ‘ell, you’re real! You’re really real!” She wasn’t freaking out, Lilia Fiona Lethbridge-Stewart, future forensic anthropologist attached to the coroner of Scotland Yard, was not freaking out. The nine year old version of herself inside her, however, had sprung out and was freaking out.
“...I ran out of milk and haven’t baked any Christmas cookies yet...!”

“I’m sorry about the mess! Usually I am a lot more organised but one of my colleagues took a file and didn’t put it back in the correct place and now I can’t find it so I’ve turned up everything trying to find it.” Andromeda hated this. She hated that no human would respect her filing system, take advantage of it yes, respect it no. And what made it worse was that no one put things back where they found them! It irked her so much she swore half the time she would fry her circuit boards it angered her so.
“Please, take a seat, I’ll be but a moment.”

“If I didn’t know you as well as I do, I’d ask if you were staring at me because I have something on my face...Actually, do I have something on my face? You’ve been staring at me for the last twenty minutes, my darling.”

“ i want you to know i’m proud of you. ” fenne @ naomi
Tumblr media
“Don’t,” Naomi gave a minuscule shake of the head as she turned her gaze to the other angel, her usually serene cerulean blues almost black as the abyss, from the retreating form of her distraught ward. She’d just had to break that young girl’s heart and trust on the anniversary of the worst day of Naomi’s long life, she did not need Fenne’s sarcasm right then.
“Not today, Fenne, I am in no mood for this so leave me alone, just leave me be.”

It was a beautiful day for a trip to the beach with her daughter Tabitha, her friend Arizona and her daughter Sofia. It was sunny, warm and the breeze was gentle and kind to the day trippers, three of whom were gleefully splashing about in the shallow waters.
They were engaged in a chasing game and Rosetta was chasing the two little girls around in the surf, catching one or both and tickling them before letting them go and the cycle beginning again until the little ones ran out of the surf onto the beach. Racing to the other adult in their group, the pair were giggling and squealing as Rosetta gave chase, slowing as she began to get out of breath but grinning like a happy fool anyway.
“Okay, kiddos, I give up, you win!” She declared, clearly warn out as the little girls reached Arizona, Tabitha staying by the end of the towels while Sofia gave her mother wet cuddles.

come back to bed (fenne @ naomi 👀)
Tumblr media
Naomi had been getting dressed with her back to Fenne, not because she was shy or embarrassed but because she knew that if she turned around and locked gazes with those baby blues she’d be back under those sheets and not getting ready to meet a couple of friends for brunch like she had planned to. Still she would have to turn around to perch on the edge of the bed to put her shoes on and a quick glance at Fenne, stretched out leisurely under the sheets with the morning light streaming through the windows, like a Grecian goddess than an angel, and Naomi was screwed.
Her breath stolen, eyes wandering over the sheets and form of her lover, bit her lip before her gaze eventually met Fenne’s, and she really was screwed, glancing at her watch and then the heels in her hands, the redhead finally forced out a sigh, her lips morphing into a small smirk before she tossed her heels back over to where they had been, slowly climbing back on the bed and crawling till she was leaning over Fenne, her smirk still in place.
“Fine, but you’ll have to tell Laura and Trish why I missed brunch, bubeleh.” She warned the blonde before slowly leaning down and pressing a lingering kiss to her lips.

"I've been meaning to ask, and I understand if you say no but ... would you go on a date with me?" fenne at naomi!
Tumblr media
“Thought you’d never bloody ask, cuddlegobbler.” Naomi discarded the scrubbing brush and took of the marigold gloves she was wearing and threaded her fingers into the belt loops of Fenne’s trousers, pulling her close to her by the hips, “I was beginning to think I would have to plan a surprise one to catch you out...”
She was teasing, the love and mischief in her gaze and the bright shining joy in her eyes was enough to give that away hopefully, as she slid her hands from belt loops into the back pockets and brushing her lips over Fenne’s, “I know just the dress to wear and if you’re good, I’ll let you take it off when we get home.”
