How to NOT binge:
(From someone whose 2 months binge free)
Info for restricting:
If you’re prone to binging after fasts. Then don’t fast.
You’d rather set a cal limit for yourself at either 700-900 for high res and 1000-1200 for low res.
By binging after fasts you undo all the work you put in and it makes you feel worse than eating in restriction.
Another point I’d like to make is that it is MUCH better to maintain than gain.
Fasting may show you faster results but there’s no point if you know you’re the type to binge and undo all that progress.
Low cal foods for restriction (that actually taste good):
Tuna
Chicken breasts *seasoning allowed, no sauce, unnecessary calories.
Whole grain pasta
Air fried sweet potatoes (my favorite)
Dark chocolate (for those of you with a sweet tooth like me)
FRUITS (blueberries, peaches, strawberries, kiwi are the best)
Zero cal drinks (flavoured water, sodas, energy drinks- I recommend something fizzy to bloat you because yes it will make you a bit queesy but it’s better than being hungry and regretting eating. I know feeling bloated feels disgusting but keep in mind that it’s extremely low cal and there is no way you are going to gain)
Use stevia or low cal sweeteners
Nutmilk over regular milk.
If you don’t have access to an air fryer, use coconut oil instead of olive or sunflower oil. Extremely low cal and food tastes exactly the same with lots more of health benefits.
Info for fasting;
Zero cal drinks, water, gum, zyns/nic pouches- they’re your new best friend.
No more than 24- 48hours if you end up binging after long fasts (48+ hours). Remember you are still not eating for a whole day, it is perfectly fine to be hungry. What’s important is that you control it. You’d rather eat low cal than binge on something like fast food.
Don’t do hectic workouts. You need energy to complete day to day activities and if you spend what little energy you have on working out your body will crave something to feed off of. Go on a long walk instead or use a treadmill.
Do calming yoga or Pilates. I recommend finding those on YouTube for beginners as it’s much less intense but still keeps you moving.
General tips for restriction:
Chew food slowly
If you overeat and want to purge do not brush your teeth after, it is far too harsh. Use mouthwash or mints. Wait 30 mins to brush again.
Count every cal. Keep a memo or notepad and write down exactly what you’ve eaten
Do not eat fast foods or processed unhealthy snacks just because they fit into your limit. Ultra-processed foods are made to keep you wanting more. You know that feeling when you just can’t put that packet of chips down? That’s the oil and salt which has been perfectly designed to keep you wanting it.
Keep busy. The busier you are the less time you have to eat MORE. Pick up a new hobby, deep clean, learn a new language or simply sleep it off.
General tips for fasting :
Whoever said don’t plan your meals is wrong. You need structure if you want to succeed. You cannot leave anything up to chance as if you don’t know what to eat, you eat everything.
When breaking a fast, the most important things are protein and fibre. Have 60/40 ratio of protein and fibre. 60% protein 40% fibre. It’s important to eat protein after a fast to regain strength and to maintain your hair and nails. Fibre to give you essential vitamins and help bowel movements.
As I said in my previous posts. DRINK YOUR WATER. In my experience drinking a DEATHLY amount of water makes me not even crave food.
Smoking or vaping (just don’t start if you don’t already but use your nic addiction as a tool/ not promoting)
That’s it! Hope you enjoyed and found this helpful<3

So I’m brainstorming some (loose) headcannons for Nikto and i came to the thought of his body composition. Mostly just random rambling.
I also can see him having a leaner build than Soap. Or the same build as him.
He’s definitely smaller than Ghost. Ghost is a big boy who definitely bulks when he can. Ghost would have to have an INSANE calorie intake to maintain that amount of muscle mass. Man is married to his MyFitnessPal app. I cant imagine how much weight and muscle mass he looses on quota. Bodybuilder things. This isnt about him though
I see Nikto as one of those people who is just fit. Like man can smoke a pack and still run a 18 minute 3 mile no problem. He’s muscular but on the leaner side. He doesnt consume enough calories a day to grow his muscles more if that makes sense. But he also doesnt look skinny. You can tell hes got muscle but hes got a sleeperbuild.
He also has a shitty diet 100%. Everyone whos been in the field knows you loose track of time and miss meals constantly. Or how you can sustain off one tornado out there and be perfectly okay to hike and shoot. He eats what he can get so that means a lot of microwave or boiling water cooked food. Most of the time its just MREs or protein bars.
Nikto will eat when you eat. Man is the CEO of "im not hungry" and his stomach will growl. He wont ever ask you to make him food. Nikto is a scavenger and will just find something to eat. That Natures Valley bar that been in the drawer for six months. Yeah no he ate it.
He doesnt drink enegry drinks. Nikto just finds them gross. He rather just smoke or zyn to stay awake. He will drink coffee. No sugar and a splash of milk. Off quota hes really good at drinking water. Man always has a water source with him. Its either a used and abused water bottle or a hydroflask looking bottle that has endless dents and scratches.
Military Lingo Key:
Off quota: not in the field, just chilling
MRES: meals ready to eat (gross)

How did you loose it? Asking for advice, im a newcomer to @n@ and i really need to loose a lot of weight.
Those pictures were 2 months apart, I used to smoke everyday and munchies plus already having BED so I started just not binging instead replaced food with diet soda at night and then I went back to my home country for vacation and for a month I ate about 100-200 cals and drank the hunger until I could stave and not really notice. But that’s not healthy not just for lack of vitamins but drinking so much everyday you can’t do that while living your normal life.
But when I got home I ate about 300 calories and chugged diet soda after, for me I used to eat volume like it’s not about taste just wanted it to be a lot so chugging soda made me feel even more full than I actually was.
I also use zyns(trying to quit vaping)
And I run a mile a day sometimes more and I know everyone says exercise but seriously even if your not going fast just jogging everyday consistently really helps, all other exercises when I do them I can feel my hunger and it makes it really hard but running is so miserable you can’t think about anything except how much it sucks.
I hope that helps, it what I did, if there’s anything else I can elaborate on💗

Are Nicotine Pouches Safe? The safety of nicotine pouches is a critical consideration for users. While they are generally considered less harmful than smoking, there are still health aspects to consider. Nicotine Content and Absorption - Nicotine Levels: Pouches typically contain between 3 mg to 6 mg of nicotine. - Absorption: Approximately 50-70% of the nicotine is absorbed by the body. Caloric Content - Caloric Content: Nicotine pouches contain minimal to no calories, as they do not include ingredients that contribute to significant caloric intake. - Absorption: Any calories present are negligible and not absorbed in a manner that would affect dietary intake. Produce Psychology
By Nancy Trent
Tumblr media
People are becoming more aware of the benefits of eating fresh. Some have an insatiable interest in healthy eating while others want to consume more but struggle to keep it interesting. And then there are those who only get fruits and vegetables from condiments, proving produce actually has some psychology to it.
While health is a driving factor in why people are eating produce, taste remains the first priority. If it’s traceable, even better. Low in carbs and high in protein and you have a winner!
These factors were evident on the show floor at the annual New York Produce Show and Conference in December at the Jacob Javits Center.
Scott Horner, Product Specialist with FreshPoint, a leading produce distributor in North America, noted that companies are chopping up produce, making it smaller and easier while selling it at a premium for its convenience.
Here are some other trends spotted on the show floor:
Taste first
Chelan Farms grew one of the crispiest, sweetest and juiciest apples when an industrious bee carried pollen from an unknown variety and landed on a Honeycrisp tree. The branch at the orchard produced a beautifully bi-colored apple, which they named the SugarBee. This apple has a creamy white flesh, a red blush skin and snap in every bite.
Grimmway, which happens to be America’s largest carrot grower, is celebrating 50 years with rainbow carrot chips that looks like candy and tastes like it too.
Traceability & Sustainability
You can taste the passion in the Nichols Farms pistachios. This fourth-generation family farm produces pistachios that they sort in small batches to give us the best product and taste available. They give back to the community, local non-profits, support education with scholarships, and more. They are mindful of the impact they have on the environment, which is why being good stewards of the land is important to them. They make sustainable efforts in the form of water conservation, natural composting, renewable energy and drip irrigation so we can feel better about popping those pistachios, which have a lot more nutrients to calorie count than any other nut.
The ONE BANANA company is dedicated to preserving the environment and community in Guatemala, Panama, Ecuador and Peru, where they nurture great-tasting bananas. Banana growers for over 25 years, the one company was formed to produce great-tasting, high-quality and delicious bananas in a socially and environmentally responsible manner. The company has programs in place for the health and education of its staff and locals, as well as water efficiency and waste management programs.
Down in Florida, Hillsborough County is recognized as the winter strawberry capital of the world and the home of some of the sweetest, reddest and juiciest strawberries around. In the 1980s, the local strawberry growers began meeting in their homes to discuss the best way to organize a group that would represent the interests of the Florida strawberry industry, which is how the Strawberry Growers Association (FSGA) was born to support over approximately 11,000 acres of berries.
Some produce is grown in unexpected places. Gotham Greens is farming with the future in mind in sustainable urban greenhouses across America. These unconventional farms leverage local cultivation and regional distribution to deliver produce quickly after being harvested to ensure they are fresh-tasting, nutritionally dense and long-lasting.
Packaged products making it easy
Poshi steamed, marinated and chopped asparagus, green beans and artichokes so we don’t have to. These gourmet vegetables are touched with herbs and can be snacked on or sprinkled as toppers or sides.
It’s also time we knew about Love Beets as the best way to enjoy this root vegetable without any mess or fuss of cooking beets.
Looks don’t matter when it comes to nutrition; Good & Ugly is a convenient snack that makes ugly fruit & nut bites so delicious with clean ingredients and authentic nutrition that you start appreciating true beauty.
Zyn makes it easy and tasty to get the benefits of curcumin, the bio-source that makes turmeric healing and turmeric lattes so popular! Curcumin is only a small portion of turmeric, which is tough to absorb. Zyn is a drink that doesn’t taste much like turmeric but gives you the benefits of curcumin without trying.
The next New York Produce Show and Conference will be held at the Jacob Javits Center December 8-11, 2020.

Day 5 Feb 28 2020
Actually I'm writing this the morning after because I kinda fucked up. I was in bed at 8 last night and closed my eyes to take a nap but instead ended up sleeping for 12 hours. Damn.
Yesterday was a good and bad day mixed. I woke up at 7 and went to finish the files I had to clean. I managed to do that and was back in my room by 9 ish. Then I took a nap until 11 and ate food and killed time u til the meeting for Arden's team at 1:30. I left at 1 and stopped by RaceTrac to grab a thing of those Zyn pouches. I don't feel especially good about it, but I thought that maybe it would be better than a disposable vape because it would last longer and I could do it in class or the library. So far, I'm not too crazy about it, but it ain't bad either.
The meeting went great. Everyone seems to be getting more friendly with one another. Yep, not much else to be said about that I suppose.
After the meeting I came back and ate more food, justifying it because it was rest day and I needed the calories to rejuvinate. I think at the end of the day I ate: 4 eggs, two small sweet potatoes, one big potato, two pieces of toast, around 1.5 cups of Greek yogurt, around a cup of oatmeal, about two tablespoons of jam, and quite a bit of ranch. Maybe 4 or 5 tablespoons throughout two meals. This is probably around twice as much food as I would eat on a normal day but I felt I needed it. I didn't eat especially bad either but I could've thrown more greens in there I suppose.
After this is where I fucked up, because I didn't do a single productive thing after that. I meant to take it easy and then finish up my abstract after that but like I said earlier, around 8 I fell asleep and somehow didn't wake until 8 the morning after. FeelsBadMan. I can still make it up tho. I have work today from 11-5 but after that I'm going to have buckle own and study up. Hopefully I can. I know I can.
Today's goals include Push day at the gym, working from 11-5, studying for biology, and working on my abstract.
It's okay to take a break sometimes.
Until tomorrow,
T.
