Taking their name from the film "It's A Wonderful Life," pehaps the purest expression of Americana ever produced, Zuzu's Petals take all of that absurb hope and grind it into their very own version of the ideal. With a vocal style remniscent of the Slits or the Breeders, guitars the crunch one minute and serenade the next, and unruly rhythms that theaten to go off on their own at any time, the Zuzu's find joy in creating indefinable pop that begs to be listened to, danced to, thought about, and cried over.

ZuZu Petals debuted in the JumpStart 3D Virtual World series and would later be reintroduced in the JumpStart MMO. However, when she was added to the MMO, her voice changed quite noticeably. The video here shows a comparison between her voice in the 3D Virtual World games (first clip) and the MMO (second clip).

Azul was confused. He knew that the kitchen staff needed his help today, so he was busy doing all he could in the kitchen to help out. It’s not that he minded the work, far from it actually. He enjoyed cooking when he could. However, the Mostro Lounge usually wasn’t this slammed. For some reason they were struggling to keep up today. He wasn’t going to complain, because money was money, but it didn’t take long for him to notice that there was no one else in the kitchen with him.

Befuddled by this fact, he dried his hands after finishing rinsing off the last dish, and made his way to the dining area. From behind the counter, he could already see what the problem was. All of his coworkers were surrounding a booth, talking and laughing with someone in particular. He frowned as he threw the towel he was using over his shoulder and made his way over to them.

His cheeks flushed pink when he saw who had captured everyone’s attention.

It was Floyd who saw him first and he gave him a cheeky grin. “Oh, Zuzu, why didn’t you tell any of us you had a cute little girlfriend, hmm?”

“Yeah, one who calls you Zuzu because you gave her a flower when you confessed, and she pressed the petals into her favorite book. And the petals remind her of Zuzu’s petals from “It’s a Wonderful Life”.” Jade snickered behind his hand.

“Y-Y/n, can I talk to you for a moment?” Azul stammered, trying to keep his composure.

You nodded. “Of course Zuzu! I’ll be right back, boys!”

“Bye Y/n.” They cooed at you, making him wince.

Behind the counter again, he asked you, “What are you doing here?”

Smiling brightly, you answered, “Well, I knew you were busy at work, and I could see you working so hard. So I decided I should come over and give you some moral support. That and it’s lunchtime. Since I’ve always wanted to try the food from your Lounge, I thought today would be the perfect day to finally visit! When I got here and didn’t see you, I asked one of the staff about you and I told him I was your girlfriend. And that’s how I met all of your sweet friends!”

He sighed, closing his eyes as he did so. The reason he didn’t want you to meet his staff was because he was already teased enough by the Leech twins. Now they were all going to tease him even more because you were here. Not that he was ashamed of you or anything! That wasn’t it at all! He just didn’t need to give them anymore of a reason to torment him.

Opening his eyes, he watched you place a hand on his forehead. He blushed heavily at your touch and the  cute, heart melting frown on your face. “You must be exhausted, Zuzu. You should come by the Ramshackle dorm on your break and I can let you take a nap in my room.”

Azul felt his cheeks flush red and he heard the others laughing at the two of you. Sighing again, he knew that he was going to be subjected to jokes and teasing all day. But it didn’t matter to him right now. He could take an extended break just so he could be with you and they would have to work harder than they normally did. Nodding, he accepted your invitation and kissed you, causing the boys to go berserk as you smiled into the kiss.

Our First Valentines

Stardew Valley Elliot x F! reader. Synopsis: You and Elliot have been dating for a few months now. Being the romantic he is, Elliot went all out for the woman he loves of this special holiday. Warning: n/a

Valentine's day was approaching. Everyone with a partner in the valley was practically buzzing with excitement, speculating what plans their loved ones have planned for them and sharing what they themselves have planned. It was sweet. You had never really had a valentines day that was more than a 'fancy' (chili's) dinner and sex right after. Not that you hated that, it just wasn't anything magical. You were very happy to have probably the most loving boyfriend you ever had to spend the holiday with this year. Thinking about your time together, you started preparing you gifts for your man.

In his cabin, Elliot was busy at work making Valentine's preparations. He has always wanted to go above and beyond for his love and now was his chance. How could he not celebrate the greatest person he has ever met? You're the woman who changed his life, became his muse, inspired him to finish his novel! He got up extra early to begin preparing, going as far as to travel to Zuzu City to get supplies for today. After hours and hours of work, it was almost time to pick you up at the farm for the big night. Elliot walked over to his mirror, made some final adjustment to his outfit, and he was off.

Just as you finished up putting yourself together, there was a knock on the door. "Coming!" You put on your shoes and headed to the door. You were greeted with you devilishly handsome boyfriend. He was wearing a play on his normal attire. A sleek red blazer, a white button down, a vibrant green tie that paired nicely with his matching slacks and a pair of dress shoes. As you were taking him in, he was admiring you just as much. You decided you wear a beautifully fitted red dress that showed of all your best assets and a pair white heels that extenuated your legs. He wanted to drink you up, but he resisted like the gentleman he is. "My darling, you look incredible. Like a work of art." He took you hand in his and kissed it leaving you a blushing mess. "You look so handsome my dear." You replied, walking up close to him to give him a proper kiss. Elliot composed himself. You were not making it easy to control himself. He extended his arm to you. "Shall we?" You accepted him arm and you both headed off towards his home.

Arriving to his shack, he leads you in an you notices the lengths he went to celebrate your relationship tonight. Candles decorated the room, flower petals trailing around the room, the table set with a lavish meal, and the ting that impressed you the most, a bouquet of white lilies, apple blossoms, baby's breath, red camellia, honeysuckle, and of course, red roses. Elliot had told you about the language of flowers after researching it for his book. After this, you two would use this language to send each other meaningful messages. You were speechless. You turned to Elliot and captured him in an emotional hug. "You didn't have to do all of this. Thank you so much. I love you." Elliot pull back from the hug and locks his eyes onto yours. "I would walk to the ends of the earth if it would make you smile. This is nothing." You both laughed at his cheesiness.

"Now I feel like my gift to you is dumb." You looked at the ground feeling embarrassed. "You don't have to give me anything princess. You being here is plenty." Before you could worry much more over it, you handed him a carefully wrapped box. He opened it up to reveal a few bottles of squid ink. Now was Elliot's turn to be speechless. You worried he hated it so you started rambling. "I'm sorry. I know it's lame. I just remembered you mentioning when you got to try writing with squid ink but couldn't keep doing it due to the rarity and expense so I thought I'd raise some squid on my farm and-" Before you could realize it, Elliot and set down the gift and captured your lips. The kiss was filled with with so much love and adoration for you. It almost brought you to your knees. "Y/N, this is the most thoughtful thing anyone has ever done for me. You truly are the best thing to happen to me."

After that, you both headed to the table to eat. You had complimented his cooking, surprised at how good it was considering Elliot claimed to be a terrible chef. Sheepishly, Elliot admitted to having Gus cater your dinner. It didn't matter at all to you though. Just the amount of thought put into the night was enough to solidify this is the man you were meant to spend your life with. The love and care he has shown you time and time again only supported this. After your incredible dinner, Elliot put a record on the vinyl and you two danced for a while. It felt perfect. Everything felt perfect with him. Swaying in his arms, you couldn't imagine anywhere else you'd rather be than here with him.

Ch. 1

It had been weeks since he had truly relaxed. Even his nightly smoke couldn't cut through all of the tension that had settled in his neck. His most recent client had worked him to the bone testing both his patience and his patience. It was some ass wipe with a rich dad who wanted to “set his start-up tech firm apart from the rest” in Zuzu City. The city of tech start-ups. The kid had every demand in the book without an ounce of understanding. 

In the past month he had missed the change of seasons, apparently, as the scent of spring new growth surrounded him. He had been ignoring everyone for weeks and had hundreds of texts from Sam and Abigail. He scrolled to the top and started scanning for anything of actual substance. As usual, there wasn't.

New girl?

That was last Friday. Damn he hadn’t looked at these for a while. Come to think of it that must be what his mom had been nagging him about lately. Introducing himself probably. She always wanted him to be more social. He was just quiet, not inept. But the new farmer. What kind of person would move to Pelican Town? 

“OOF” Clang!

His neck twinged from swinging around so quickly. He rubbed it as he snuffed his cig on a nearby rock. He kept telling Maru to ask for help with that damn telescope. 

“Maru? You good?” 

“Maru?” he grew concerned the longer she didn’t answer. 

As he breached the tree line he was met with what must be the new farmer in a shadowed heap in the moonlight. She moaned as she righted herself and started picking up the objects scattered around. A shiny stone tumbled to meet Sebastian. He picked it up and tried to figure out what to say to a stranger who just fell down a hill outside your house in the middle of the night. 

“You just moved in, right?” Well that was a choice. 

She shrieked and fell back with a big rusty cog in her hand. A very frazzled face covered in dirt looked back at him. They stared silently at each other for a moment. 

“Uhhh. Yeah. Oh, thanks. And sorry. Yeah. Thanks.” She shuffled forward on her knees to take his offered shiny rock. She took a moment to cram the rusty cog and what looked like a shovel into her knapsack. Neither looked like they could fit but she somehow forced the latch closed regardless. She looked down at the shiny rock and then back at Sebastian, still standing awkwardly with his now useless hands in his pockets. 

“Do you like quartz?” She asked holding the shiny rock up. 

“Uh, its not bad. Yeah.” Really killing it with the dialogue tonight, Seb. Is exactly what Sam would say if he could see him now. Thank every star that Abi wasn't watching this. 

She held it out between them until he took it and then swung what had to be a dangerously heavy bag onto her shoulders. 

“Thanks for taking that. I had no room.” She smiled lopsidedly. “I’m Poppy, by the way.” The two stood in awkward silence for a moment. Sebastian searched for something to say. 

“So, out of all the places you could live, you chose Pelican Town?” Oh, no. “That-”

“Well, it’s my Grandpa’s farm, so…” the smile had slid away and she was looking everywhere but at him. “Sorry! I must’ve scared you with all the noise. Oh, I hope I didn’t wake up Linus.” She looked over her shoulder towards his tent. “He says someone throws rocks at his tent at night. That’s not you right? If it is, like dude, you should stick to smoking for stress relief if that's the alternative. Usually I am all for getting off the death sticks. But Linus?!” She finally looked back up at his face and at the same time seemed to realize the tangent she had been on. She froze. 

“I am so sorry, and sorry for interrupting your evening! Bye! Good night!” She turned and ran away, swaying with the force of her bag and the speed of her turn. Before Sebastian could form a word she had disappeared in the night. 

He stood still, a little confused, a little amused, and a little bit worried about his weird wild acquaintance up the hill. Who could be throwing rocks at his tent?

Some random spicy Mr. Qi x Farmer headcanons:

Farmer has become a very frequent guest at the Casino. More specifically, a frequent guest in Mr Qi's private office at the Casino, where the thick walls and loud jazz music of the establishment would definitely prevent other visitors from hearing the loud moans coming from the room.

And lovemaking is not just limited to Qi's office or Farmer's house: the two of them managed to "fool around" in Cindersap Forest, Ginger Island, Zuzu City, even Skull Cavern (don't even ask) and so on. It feels like mysterious blue man and Farmer have taken it upon themselves to try all the unusual places.....

He's. A goddamn. Tease. All that touching, all that preparation to get to the more decisive action already... If Farmer was thinking about quick sex, they might not count on it: Qi will tease for hours before giving his partner what they wanted. After all, why rush and spoil all fun when you can extend the pleasure?

One of Qi's habits is to appear suddenly. And this will apply when he wants to show tenderness to his partner. Farmer has managed to get bored without Mr. Qi and wonders when he'll pay them a visit? *Poof!* And Qi appeared behind them, putting his hands on their waist and kissing their neck. Now Farmer wants more passionate action? *Poof!* And the two are already in the bedroom (which is now sprinkled with flower petals everywhere. What can I say - Qi is a skilful man).

In terms of sex, Mr. Qi will take the lead. Most often a soft dom, but if Farmer wants a thrill in bed, he will be in favour. But only when he's sure Farmer can handle it.
