eek thank you!!! they DO feature but it's more of an 'aligning with the canon timeline' feature than an official swt moment and their relationship with zuko/his relationship with them is VERY different. i havent decided if im even gonna keep the taob crew yet bc on the one hand it would be a funny easter egg and ik the swt are kinda my staple but i also want people to know this isn't gonna be something to slot into the taob-universe. this is its own, seperate thing and i really really want to avoid constant taob comparison where i can

Sokka’s the plan guy, but no matter how many plans he makes for himself or to do lists he writes, he keeps scrolling on his phone. Everytime he tries to do something--even just bring one plate to the kitchen, keep it simple--he feels so overwhelmed he could cry. So he doesn’t. 

hella’s ocs are mine now: so i’m not big on the whole “one fic per doc” thing, i just throw down a lot of loosely connected ideas so this doc is just a bunch of random shit with zi se and zuko and zuko and kanut. but although i have a bunch of different things going on, my two main ones are:

so basically when zuko gave zi se his dagger and was like “oh it’s not actually sharp so i don’t have to worry, but i’ll tell him he can defend himself” i was like oh shit. so based on that, my little angsty, hurt/comfort one-shot is zi se being nearly kidnapped, zuko saving him, and then...well, y’all know i’ve been very excited to see how hella handles zi se cursing and i jokingly said “at this point i should just write it myself,” i actually realized i did want to write it but i don’t want to write the scene that i’m actually imagining in taob cause i know hella will do it better than i ever can, but. i do want to delve into those emotions. so. maybe, maybe, zi se responds (to the fact that zuko essentially lied about the dagger) by saying “what the fuck, zuko?” and zuko has to deal with that 👉👈

 this section of my document begins literally “Wait this is wildly ooc for both of them, but” and it’s zuko having gone to wake kanut up after a nightmare, then chickened out, but kanut woke up anyway, and then they talk. nightmare comfort is (one of) my favorite trope

ive decided to reread taob just bc ive not actually properly reread it in ages which... isn't great as the writer of it but the way im gonna do it is pretend it's not mine and hopefully i'll be able to get through book 1 without throwing my laptop at a wall
