What did you think about the yellow ladybug outfit?
I didn't like it initially.
First, I'm bored with how Ladybug's design variances are essentially choosing random parts of the costume to do colour blocking when layers would have been better.
Second, I have a complex relationship with yellow as a colour in this show (iykyk). In fact, when I saw the promotional image and a clip of the transformation sequence, I'm like, "Tell me this isn't true!" 😂
However.
I appreciate the reasoning behind it, even if it's not necessary since present Ladybug didn't see past Ladybugs, just Bug Noire. Besides, the reflective silver spots and the highlighter effect in dark areas?
Worth it.
Though, if we're being silly, I'd be fine if Ladybug just wear the safety vest over her regular costume. Layers, people, layers! 🤣
