I love how Anne escaped the trope of being embarrassed of her and her family’s culture. She embraces it, even before Amphibia.

In Episode 1 (Anne Or Beast), Maggie makes fun of her Khao Niaow Bing (sweet Thai sticky rice). Instead of shying away, or even saying she didn’t like it, she does this:

Or, when she helps Stumpy with his diner in Episode 9 (Lily Pad Thai), she wears a traditional Thai dress called a Sinh (which she must have made, by the way)

And in s2e19 (The Dinner) Anne wears yet another traditional Thai dress

I just love how she’s so proud of her family, culture, and traditions

Okay I just finished re-watched Umbrella Academy seasons 1 and 2.

Did no one know that (Viktor) was fucking put in an electric chair and illegally drugged with psychedelics?

Cause… I feel like a lot of them blamed (him) for both apocalypses, but they were actually not caused by him at all.

The first was cause by manipulation, trauma, anxiety attacks, and basically withdraw.

The second was caused by actual torture.

I just saw girl in red in Indianapolis and she was absolutely amazing. She sang, talked, and danced. She talked about life and love. It felt like she was speaking directly to me.

I cried many times during the concert, and I will many times again while listening to her music.

I can confidently say that she is awesome.
