sure it’s not a very cohesive playlist so far as a ~vibe goes 😂 i used my spotify liked songs for this which is sort of a weird, small-ish collection of songs bc i only heart songs if i’ve gone through an obsessive period of looping them for multiple days. so. i mean. at least those are all songs that i really enjoy!

MMMM this is like the first longform 1d fic i started when i started writing fic lmao pour one out for my aspirations

so the basic premise is like. it’s canon compliant/basically zayn visits niall in ireland during some off time?? idk how much you know/care about irish cryptids and folklore but boy. i know and care A Lot. and i have a lot of Feelings about like, the political sidelining of niall’s irishness (idk if he cares particularly but the fact that, bc they put out albums every november, theres Tons of promo out there where niall is wearing a remembrance poppy is like. big yikes) 

so anyway zayn visits niall in ireland ostensibly bc zayn is into folklore and cryptids and wants to See Some Sights in that vein, they tromp around kind of looking for faerie rings but mostly hanging out. niall tells zayn about a bunch of folklore but it’s that weird juxtaposition where like, zayn is just into stories and supernatural shit and niall Is Not but has grown up with all these superstitions. 

they end up kind of camping out on a lake bc maybe there are selkies (but that’s more of an ocean thing - it’s mostly for funsies) and zayn wakes up bc niall is getting up at 4am or whatever to watch the ISS go overhead

they find this weird moment of understanding where like, niall’s thing about space and astronomy and stuff, and zayns thing about magic and sci fi and folktales, are actually different sides of the same coin? like they’re both in this strange position where the entire world is open to their exploration but bc of that there’s not a lot of mystery or like, joy in trying to achieve a dream, or anything? like what do u do when u become internationally famous as a teenager. where do u go from there. so they’re both chasing these last vestiges of impossible magic

20. Have you met any internet friends at a concert?

omg actually yes! and it was completely by accident too. i was at Niall’s show in WA last year and katelyn (@zot5) turned out to be there too so we got to meet. it was so cool!!!

21. Which concert that you’ve been to has had the best stage setup/production?

probably Twenty One Pilots. that was easily one of the biggest/coolest productions i’ve ever seen!

25. Which do you prefer: indoor or outdoor concerts?
