Introducing Zoot's mom, Lena!

Lena is a businesswoman working in the film industry, advocates for muppets receiving more roles in movies and TV shows, especially ones that aren't comedies and where muppets aren't the butt of the joke

She is Puerto Rican and divorced twice over, she has two other kids beside Zoot, but she only ever sees them half the time

Lena and Gabe were fairly young when Zoot was born, and they tried to make it work, but unfortunately, it didnt

Lena loves Zoot and Gabe very much, but she did fall out of love with Gabe romantically and agreed to split if off. And to support Zoot individually rather than pretend for their son's sake and be miserable

This plan worked well for the first few years of the divorce, until Lena got remarried. Her second husband was manipulative and possessive, convincing her that she needed to be focused on him and their children, even threatened to ruin Lena's career and her family's life. Quickly after that she cut contact and moved.

Gabe did try and talk to Lena but there was a lot of stress in the situation and he eventually gave up. He didn't even demand child support because he was to emotionally exhausted and felt like he could handle it on his own.

Gabe knows why Lena cut contact for the most part but still doesn't like talking about her. He's told Zoot about his mom and his half siblings at some point, but Zoot always ends up forgetting anyway.

Lena of course divorced her second husband eventually, and did think about regaining contact with Gabe and Zoot, but she felt it was too late. She had already caused so much pain and it had already been so many years, she felt like the best she could do was stay away.

Okay I just finished the ACOTAR series for the first time and I have so many thoughts so I'm gonna write them down.

Also I have not looked at any fan theories or been a part of this fandom very much so all these headcannons are straight from the noggin:

Okay getting this out of the way cause its a hot topic. Azriel is my baby I love him but

I would have mixed feelings about him being with both gwyn and Elaine. I love the idea of Elaine being azriels sunshine he deserves light in his life (also their scene in ACOSF had me ejdjbdksks) but also all three bat boys being with all 3 sisters rubs me the wrong way idk.

Gwyn is amazing because she's a badass bitch and if azriel doesn't snatch that up I will. I feel like azriel almost gets bulldozed over by the other bat boys (like he will do the dirty work only because he feels inferior) And I want gwyn to help him stand up for himself.

Gwyn is an adult jfc. I'd be more worried about her trauma.

But at the same time I would totally understand if Elaine couldn't forgive him for his involvement in the cauldron business. That shit was wack. I just want this relationship to be the biggest, most "period drama esqe" slowburn.

I have very mixed feelings about lucien. On one hand lucien has never had a home and when tamlin took him in I can see how that loyalty blurred the lines of right and wrong. But at the same time lucien messed up MANY times where the archeon sisters are concerned.

Nesta deserved her kick in the ass because it was needed. She did not deserve everyone to be a little bitch to her. It felt like feyre was the only one who wanted her rehabbed for nestas sake. I definitely would have preferred Nesta to hit rock bottom and choose recovery for herself (cause alcoholism and things can only be truly solved through self help) Everyone else was uncharacteristically nonempathetic. Idk how Cassian could be okay with her treatment after they mated.

I'm still digesting Rhys and nestas relationship. I like that they don't like each other for most of ACOSF. Nestas reasons for treating feyre poorly are valid, but not excuses. The feyre, Nesta, and rhys relationship thing is weird cause I see all sides. I need more feyre and Nesta bonding they always get interrupted.

I HATE what SJM did to Mors character. What the fuck is up with mor not liking Nesta. Maybe we will get an explanation in the next book but I feel like mor was set up to be a great LGBT character with himbo allies but SJM just dropped her off a cliff. Big mad.

However I do want eris and mor to end up together. Not necessarily romantically, but I want them to have it out and I want eris to support mor. Kinda want them to be mates. Kinda want eris to be gay as well. Kinda want them to get married and them have consorts.

WHY does everyone treat feyre like a porcelain doll when the IC has more collective trauma than anyone else in this universe. Don't get me wrong I'm all about the hurt/comfort but it was so inconsistently written LOL. When the IC was telling their stories the first night they met and then feyre told hers I cackled like sorry but she is a baby

Rhys's trauma is just as recent as feyres... yeah he's a lot older and seasoned but oh my GOD he was consistently assaulted for 49 years. Feyre does very little to comfort him. Idk I feel like it was SO glossed over.

Like in ACOWAR feyre admits that amaranthas hatred wasn't personal it was general, unlike Tamlins hatred. But amarantha and rhys had multiple personal vendettas against each other. Like his amarantha is vaguely feyres tamlin. Rhys didn't even get to kill amarantha. His trauma is untapped. Rhys is the main character feyre is the love interest idc

Idk what yall say rhys is my baby my lovebug my everything. He's got his flaws but you can't love Nesta and hate him at the same time without being a lil hypocritical

But he's fucked in the head for thinking he was justified in drugging feyre every night for 2 months. Almost more mad about that than the SA (I dont really blame Rhys since it is not cannon to me. SJM just messed up 😌 it was so out of character) did he ever really apologize for that??

ALSO I know smj wanted to write like #consentking but half of what he allowed was so unnecessarily dangerous (like the first AND second weaver encounter- if my SO ran off in the middle of a battle to track down a mysterious creature when the task could have been done after the battle I would have be livid. Mor was justified in being mad.)

I'm so mad rhys didn't flatten tamlin during the high lord meeting. Either it will happen in the future or I will burn these books.

I HATE the fact that rhys almost had an existential crisis over feyre being so young when she found her mate and not having "lived" and THEN GETS HER PREGNANT??? Are you kidding me. I'm so mad. I don't wanna deal with babies. I hate babies.

But I DO have a fun headcannon that since the bone carver is a death-god or whatever he KNEW nyx wouldn't survive and that is why he appeared as him. Also when the bone carver offered to take feyres first born in exchange for help rather than the oroboughs I think that was also foreshadowing. The only reason nyx survived was because of Nesta and the bone carver had trouble seeing the cauldron.

Literally I would have enjoyed ACOSF if instead of the pregnancy feyre was busy looking for bryaxis. Literally what happened to him. Wtf

I know the plot armor is crazy thick around the IC but it would have been nice if one of them died. Well, not nice, but more believable. Maybe thats why nyx should have died. Lol I need therapy.

FREAKING HEADCANNON: the archeon sisters are partially fae. Their mom was definitely a descendant and that's why all three sisters have mates. It was hinted that the sisters had mated because they were powerful and cauldron made but Cassian and rhys could feel the pull before the sisters were turned.

He likes any song that gives  him confidence, so when he hears pussy talk he goes all out, i mean this grown ass man dances.

Suguru Daisho: Molly by Mindless Self Indulgence

Was this one self indulgent? Yeah. Daisho-san gives me punk vibes and like,,, awooga. He for sure likes songs that get him pumped up before games and Molly is exactly the song to do that. Even with his breakup from Mika he seems to be insanely persistent and probably is one of those guys who unironically says “I still see her shadows in my room.” which pains me a bit to think about.

Kiyoomi Sakusa: Devil Town by Cavetown

Sakusa-san gives me a “divorced parents” vibe, and as someone who has divorced parents I will defend this on a hill and die for it. The song itself isn’t overwhelming, so I think he likes it because it's almost a calm pain to him. And, with my head cannon that he has divorced parents, it fits even better.

Shinsuke Kita: Saturn Suv by Fredo Disco

Sweet farmer boy needs sweet sonG- wow I haven’t expressed my love for Kita-san ever on this website and that thought physically pains me tbh. He’s so sweet, so that's why I picked this bittersweet bop for him. It’s chill and almost controlling like he is, but not a bad controlling, more of a “guys-please-my-mom-is-home” controlling. 10/10 would recommend this song.

Aran Ojiro: Washing Machine Heart by Mitsuki

You might be wondering why I picked such a song for Mr. Man himself, but hear me out: He likes sad songs. Just like I've mentioned with many other soft boys before, he enjoys listening to sad songs even when he's not sad which I respect because,,, same here dude.

ON that note, I chose the washing machine heart because of how adult it sounded. Not in the sexual sense, but just in the “grown-up heartbreak” sense.

Atsumu Miya: Asshole by Hooligan Chase

This physically pained me to find on my playlist and so I deleted it immediately after finding it. ‘Tsumu-san gives me massive cishet man energy and that isn’t exactly good to think about. He reminds me of a frat boy named Jake who’s favorite thing is to fuck the holes in the wall that he punched. Doesn’t mean I hate Atsumu-san though! Actually, I find him and his brother very relatable and enjoy how they fight because me and my siblings did that kinda thing.

Osamu Miya: Lotta True Crime by Penelope Scott

Anyways, ‘Samu-san here gives me the energy that he binges true crime shows often with the team, ‘Tsumu probably calls Osamu a serial killer and gross and well,,, everything else you can fill in. The song itself is bitter and sarcastic, just like he can be and personally I find it super catchy (well, I enjoy all of Penelope's songs) and sad. The image of Osamu-san listening to true crime podcasts while getting stoned in his later years brings tears of joy to my face.

Rintaro Suna: As The World Caves In by Matt Maltese

A sad song for a boy who for sure has at least some sort of mental illness (I say that as someone who has mental illnesses). I believe that Suna-san has depression due to how burnt out he constantly is. As someone who again loves sad songs, I feel like he would just constantly have one on in his headphones. Give this man some therapy and a break.

Korai Hoshiumi: Verbatim by Mother Mother

Lil man really whipped out the energy when we first met him- he low-key scared me because I saw him and thought that he’d be quiet and sweet but oh boy was I wrong. I was also a little stuck on a song for him so I had to consult the Hoshiumi kinnies and they came up with Verbatim, which is on my playlist. Thank you, Hoshiumi kinnies, thank you. If you are a Hoshiumi kinnie, you are iconic and i appreciate you!

Takanobu Aone: Mr. Loverman by Ricky Montgomery

Wow anyways this song makes my aone kinnie go brr. Like completely brr. Aone-san gives me a soft indie, hot cup of tea, sweaters, knitting, and baking vibes. You may see him as a scary giant but I see him as a very big polar bear who needs a hug! He probably relates to the song because of how everyone views him as the Iron Wall and not a person, just the longing to feel loved and appreciated by someone is the main reason he’d relate so much. I would also bake brownies with Aone-san any day.

Kenji Futakuchi: Hayloft by Mother Mother

Our edgy king here for sure is a bastard. He’s cocky, funny, and sly with his rude comments causing me to think of an intense song for him. Hayloft is also an absolute banger of a song, so it wouldn’t surprise me if he had it be Date Tech’s theme song for the time being. I think that he’d also go to mother mother concerts and just be so confused, like if he went to an american mother mother concert he’d be looking at everyone there and just “woah” you also can’t tell me he wouldn’t want an alt S.O.

Kanji Koganegawa: Pretty Rave Girl by S3RL

Wow, me and Koganegawa-san here seem to have the exact same taste in music! When I hear pretty rave girls I go ape. I mean I shake my hands in front of my face because of the happy simulation! It’s such a cute song and the crunch is sooo perfect. I can see Koganegawa being into hyperpop and hardcore music like sewerslvt and SugarCrash! Like tendou-san and lev-san. He for sure sings the song when he gets up in the morning and blasts it in his car! The cute wholesome love song makes his heart go brr, and mine does too!

Ittetsu Takaeda: Breezeblocks by Alt-J

Man would listen to this and go full English teacher like the nerd he is, but then again I don't blame him because I honestly do too! This song was an old hyper-fixation of mine and so when I think of Takaeda, I think of Breezeblocks. All the literary devices and how the song itself is formed to create the perfect horrifying story of murder and cleaning up the crime scene all while talking about their lover is bone-chilling and I think Takaeda-san understands how messed up the song is but just really enjoys the cover that the love aspect almost is. Like when I first listened to Breezeblocks I thought it was a song about a lover leaving the singer, not the singer killing someone(possibly his lover) and covering it up all while thinking about his S.O. dark but great song, 10/10 childhood would be ruined again.

Keishin Ukai: Scotty Doesn’t Know by Lustra

Ah yes, Ukai here is punk and we all know it; and as someone who sees Ukai and gets many mixed feelings, I say we talk about highschool ukai. He mentioned that he didn’t get good grades when he was younger. Keishin-san reminds me of someone who got high instead of doing schoolwork, which like same but bro c’mon you gotta balance the zoot. Keishin-san also reminds me of a crust punk in the sense of how he acts: he’s super cool and if you're wrong he isn’t afraid to tell you you're wrong. He also gives me the vibes that he’d call out TERF’s on the streets and save girls from being harassed/assaulted. An absolute king if I say so myself.

Saeko Tanaka: Girls In Bikinis by Poppy

Ah yes, a bicon in her full beauty! Saeko for sure would be one hell of a partier and she for sure has had some drunken kisses with cute girls. And, we have to remember she is a tanaka, ryunosuke is literally her brother. Of course, simp runs in their veins, and god, what I would do for her to just give me a thumbs up or any positive affirmation. Oh and she for sure kicks TERF’s in the shins with Ukai-san. Someone get her a monster and a crown because she’s the queen :)

Akiteru Tsukishima: Boys Will Be Bugs by Cavetown

As Akiteru-san here has struggled with self esteem before and not wanting to let people down, I saw BWBB and instantly understood why it stands out to me so much when I think about him. The song itself is about giving into harmful stereotypes because that's how the world and people see you. Boys are often seen as people who aren’t allowed to have feelings due to toxic masculinity and I think that the reason he lied to his brother could’ve been influenced by that.

Kiyoko Shimizu: Sweet Hibiscus Tea by Penelope Scott

Sweet hibiscus tea is one hell of a song for people who don’t feel like enough, and that's exactly how Kiyoko-san feels. I can see her for sure feeling like an outsider to her own life. So many people look up to her and she doesn’t know why, her low self-esteem is something that I've come to understand after watching Haikyuu. Give her some tanaka and she’ll be fine.

Hitoka Yachi: Oblivion by Grimes

Our favorite ball of anxiety for sure is scared about walking home, she has a great reason to be anyways! What’s scarier than being kidnapped? Nothing tbh, shits horrifying (I say as someone who was indeed almost kidnapped). Yachi always thinks that the worst will happen and prepares for it, but then again I can’t blame her.

Rick Springfield - “Jessie’s Girl” Pure 80′s Song released in 1981. Compilation released in 1999. Pop Rock / Power Pop

Rick Springfield has accomplished a lot in his life. One, he’s the king of 80s power pop, having recorded sixteen top 40 US hits within the decade. Two, he’s a film and TV actor, with his most famous role being that of the dreamy Dr. Noah Drake on General Hospital. He’s also had roles on Californication and True Detective and starred alongside Meryl Streep in Ricki and the Flash. Springfield’s also penned a New York Times bestseller. He’s quite the triple threat.

Born in Australia, Springfield first struck serious fame in his native country as a guitarist and vocalist in a popular band called Zoot. Their biggest hit, a 1970 hard rock cover of the Beatles’ “Eleanor Rigby,” peaked at #3. Following that success, Springfield decided to pursue a solo career and in 1971 moved to the States. He would release his fist hit, “Speak to the Sky,” which would reach #5 in Australia and #14 in the US. He was marketed as a teen heartthrob to compete with the likes of David Cassidy and Donny Osmond and it seemed like he was well on his way to becoming something of a pop superstar.

And that would happen, eventually, but he encountered some serious delays on the way. A nasty rumor started to spread after the release of “Speak to the Sky” that alleged that his label, Capitol Records, was busing in women to buy his album, Beginnings, in order to inflate its sales. As a result, radio stations  boycotted Springfield’s music, which immediately stopped his ascent towards stardom. His career was then further stalled due both to the lingering rumor and his newest label, Chelsea Records, going down the tubes.

Springfield decided that if he didn’t have a record contract, then he would try his hand at acting. He landed bit parts on popular TV shows including Wonder Woman, The Six Million Dollar Man, Battlestar Galactica, and The Rockford Files. He also recorded demos, which RCA took a liking to, and signed him. He was then given his General Hospital role and released his album, Working Class Dog, all around the same time in 1981.

Springfield’s timing really could not have been better. His role on General Hospital fed into his success as a recording artist. After being on GH for some months, “Jessie’s Girl” was released as a single, and very slowly, climbed the charts, taking all of 19 weeks to assume the #1 spot in the US. And right when it claimed the top of the charts in August, MTV launched, which probably played a part in extending its stay on the charts for as long as it did. The song also struck #1 in Australia, and in 1982, it somehow managed to win a Grammy for best rock male performance. And while it’s probably more than a bit of a reach to think that award was justified, it’s undeniable that “Jessie’s Girl” is an absolute fucking earworm.

I think the lesson to be learned from  “Jessie’s Girl” is don’t be friends with Rick Springfield. He’s a grown-ass man in his 30s concurrently trying to ruin both a relationship and friendship in an act of jealous greed. Springfield didn’t write the first song in the Mr. Steal Yo Girl catalog, but he’s 100% responsible for its biggest hit. Some people jokingly posit that “Jessie’s Girl” is the prequel to Fountains of Wayne’s “Stacy’s Mom” and that Jessie’s girl and Stacy;s mom are the same person. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if “Stacy’s Mom” was actually inspired by “Jessie’s Girl” and I now have both songs playing in my head at the same time and it’s driving me just a teensy bit insane.

Anyway, there’s many reason as to why “Jessie’s Girl” is such a phenomenal 80s power pop hit. First of all, Dr. Noah Drake made it. GH had a viewership of something like 14 million people. The rumor that had previously dogged Springfield didn’t matter anymore, and anything this music-first dreamboat was gonna put out was bound to do good numbers. Second, the song’s subject matter is totally relatable. Everyone feels lust and jealousy from time to time, and shaping that honest admission into lyrics that can be easily sung along to is probably going to garner success.

But thirdly, and most importantly, it’s the build, both musically and lyrically. “Jessie’s Girl” opens with a simple, subdued riff and a light hi-hat tap that back Springfield’s hushed tones. After Rick tells us about his plot to nab Jessie’s girl, his hormones start to boil. A combination of muddy guitar chords, hand claps, and a kick drum suddenly appear as they catchily symbolize his sexual angst. His vocals multitrack like irrepressible voices in his head and he bitterly pictures Jessie and his girl deep in the throes of lust and love as goo goo eyes quickly transition to sex. Rick’s emotions then explode during the chorus, but thanks in part to an added synthesizer, the song just takes on a feeling of good, lighthearted, exceedingly poppy fun instead of jealous, raging, frustration.

 And then we hit the reset button just to do it all over again. The remainder of the song sustains itself on the residual amount of energy left by the second chorus, which in turn leaves an extended bridge that allows Springfield to give us a nice, little guitar solo before launching into the final chorus.

Check out the music video, too, where you can see Rick spray painting the words “Jessie’s girl” onto a wall, Rick’s guitar playing not matching the music at all, Rick stabbing his bathroom mirror to pieces with the neck of his guitar, and Rick’s dog, Ronnie, who stars on Working Class Dog’s album cover, dressed up in a button-down shirt and tie.

“Jessie’s Girl” is a song that was crafted to live inside your head, and it certainly ticks all the boxes to accomplish that goal. It enabled Springfield to unleash a torrent of hits throughout the rest of the decade and helped him achieve platinum status for a bunch of albums thereafter. What’s crazy is that he continued to act on General Hospital for the next few years, too. That hectic and tireless work schedule would take its toll and force him to dramatically dial it back, but Springfield has been able to continue his acting and music career into his 70s, and has added a writing dimension to his résumé as well. 

The good looks have certainly aided Rick Springfield throughout his life, but it definitely takes a good bit of talent and drive to have such a successful career for so long. A mix of a starring role on an immensely popular soap opera and an ability to craft such an incredibly catchy tune will afford you an opportunity to spread your wings and stick around for quite a while.

“ Hopefully soon but you know money is tight right now and i got to take care a little one too” he replied

Those words echoed in my head hearing the slight slips from her tounge ring , I could smell the winter fresh gum from her mouth and her slight grin peeking out those pearly whites; We both exchange smiles more than words just enough for people wonder if we’re telepathic.

“When is your ass going to driving me around  huh!“ jokingly she said

“ Nothing .. it's just cool to see you being a dad and stuff , i would’ve never expected it ..no offense though” she stated.

“ Shit neither did I, Me and tish never really expected that we both had plans and whatever but you know shit happens I guess.

The girl looks over to him while trying to keep focus on the road she notice his deep stare out the window wondering what could possible go through his mind right now.

“Hey I am going to the gas station want anything?” she asked

He snaps out of his daydream

“Oh umm yeah fuck it, I might get a little somthin” he repiled

They reach to the gas station to the kid checks to see if he has his wallet in his pocket and looks at his phone and notice two text messages he clicks them off and puts his phone away. They both head inside the store; as they stroll around the store the kid stands by the soda fridge and grabs a Mountain Dew and heads down the chips aisle and grabs to bags of Doritos. The kid heads to the register and the girl comes behind with some wine coolers, they both smile.

“ What? Gettin zooted tonight?” he stated.

“ It feels like a good night.. Why not” happily she said.

The kid pays for the stuff and they both head out to the car and drive off; the kid phone rings the girl looks over to him as he checks his phone but ignores the messages.

“Is everything cool?” she asked

“ Na everything is good just my friend hitting me up on some bullshit, but its nothing serious” he replied

She looks at him and shakes her head at him grinning, and they drive off ; In silence the kid opens up the cool ranch doritos and eats, During the drive the soundtrack through the girl’s phone in speakers echoed looped beats to give that night drive a cool vibe , but they didn't say anything to each other just sitting in the car listening to west savannah coming from her playlist. The kid looks over to her,

“Let’s stop somewhere..like parking lot or something” he asked

She looks at him confused

“ Why ?....” she asked

“ I dont know just a place to kick at like we used to do back then” he stated

She smiled

“ Back then was a long ass time ago” she said

“ SO we’re just hangin aren't we”he said jokingly

She looked and smiled

“ I guess “, “ i know a spot “ she said

As they drive they hit a spot close to what the kid was talking about, they park near the trees but you could see the outline of the city lighting like a live circuit board, they park to side to see the view but enough to be close to the trees , the engine is off but the music is playing , the tempo of the mixes from the playlist to start to get smoother and lo-fi, the kid kicks back the chair while the girl gets the two wine coolers from the back and hands over one to him

“ It's probably warm as hell by now” he said

They both open and tap their glasses to each other and drink , the kid scrunches his face due to the aftertaste of the warm wine and the girl turns to him giggling

“ Oh shut up it ain't that bad stop trying to front” jokingly she said

“ yeah ok you can have that”

The girl rolls her eyes at him , she goes and takes off her kicks and wiggles her toes in tights , same with the other foot and massaging them.

“ Can I ask you a question ?” she shyly asked

“What’s up” he said

“ How come three years ago you left and came back ? you didn't like where you at? Or…” she asked

“ Well long story short i dropped out of college my mom don't know anything about until later and then I was messing around with girl when i came back and now i got a kid..shit that’s all she wrote really with the exception of my trying to get a job” he explained

“ Damn ..thats something” she stated

The kid grabs the doritos and takes a bit and hands her some and she takes one, they both sit back looking at the city through the fogged window.

So whats up with you, how dealing with things n shit”he said

She smiled

“ Its nothing like what you went through but ..well….I broke up with boyfriend for reasons i don't wanna talk about and started messing around with some people but it didnt turn so good due to drama of course! And working a job i don't like and my parents stressing me about school and I think it ends there” she explained

They both take a sip from the warm drinks and sit in silence until the girl asked

“Hows your daughter” i forgot to ask old is she ? she said

“Oh she’s three now will be 4 in october and i gotta do some shopping for the little one got to be on daddy duty “

“ Aww that’s next month get ya money son make it a blow out” jokingly she said

“ Ah dont do that cornball shit to me I hate when girls do that fuckin shit to me with awww’n and stuff “ he stated

They both laugh

“God you're such a shit and to think having a daughter would make you soft or something GOD! live a little you always been so fuckin grouchie!” she said

As they both enjoy laughing with each other the buzzing noise from the kid’s jacket interrupts the vibe between too they both lose the smiles which forms to serious faces  the girl looks away toward the window as the kid reaches his for the phone it was knowing it was an alert for low battery and clicked it off

“ Sorry about that”he said

She turns toward him cheaply smiles and the music changes up again and they sit in silence once more a soft but chilled voice echoes through the speakers and the windows get more foggier where the view of the city almost becomes a blur

“So why you broke up with your boyfriend” the kid asked

“ I wasn't treated right” she said

“He cheated “ he asked

“ No he just didn't give me any love no support just someone he wanted to fuck and drop like all the other hoes he’s messed around with , but the main reason was……” she said

“What” he said

“ It was you” she said nervously

The kid gets quiet and starts to wonder

“ i know it sounds weird ..but during that whole mess all i could think about...was you I guess just the idea about you just comfort me in away but I know that couldn't happen because you were away and  got a baby mama drama and a child too, you know? ….I just wish time could turn back so we didn't have to go through what we went you know? She explained,

The kid sits in shock but is calm  looking out the window as the girl stares at hoping not to get a negative response , the kid grabs some more of the wine and sits there and turns to her , the girl look is written in desperation  for an answer seeing the slight glow from her eyes coming from her phone, his eyes shine through from the glare of the street light : the kid wants to say something but couldn't muster word only to sit back and scratch his head and look out the window

The girl goes to the backseat and lays there looking at the window they both sit in silence while the kid drinks the rest of his wine cooler he sits up the girl looks at him and the playlist starts from the beginning to the first track the mood changes

“ I am not mad at you for saying that.. Sigh it’s a lot and I hear you ..I just didn't know you felt that way i mean certain things are suppose to happen i guess but.. I didn't expect you out of all people though  . he explained.

The kid turns around to her

“ You alright ?” he asked

‘ Yeah I am ok guess” she replied

“ can i join you?” he asked

She grinned and shrugged , the kid came over to the backseat she moved to give him room as his back was against the base of the seat they spooned the kid could feel the vibration from pulsating from her back making  her feel like a human furnace and the playlist plays the same beat loop again creating a different vibe, the girl turns to the kid’s face and looks at him both feeling each other's breath against their chin and lips

No words was said and nothing was spoken, just the quiet wind blowing  the leaves against the car and dark blue sky slowly becoming lighter as day approaches and the fog on the window slowly fade, while the playlist is on another track the kid falls asleep and the girl closes her eyes
