had a dream where s2 of spnwin starts off w/ dean in heaven back from his little adventure and he’s going thru the motions, he’s got a little house there in heaven, he’s putting his keys to baby on a hook, taking off his jacket, opening the fridge for a beer when a ~mysterious stranger~ shows up to tell him there’s something wrong (yes it was Cas but also. Not Cas. he looked like misha w/ long hair and he wasn’t wearing the standard Cas outfit). So Not Cas sweeps dean away to heaven’s control room before dean can even react (not-Cas was also in shadow) and then they’re staring at all these screens and one of them is the spnwin universe and dean’s like “what is this?” And Not Cas just tells him to watch and they watch the footage that keeps replaying which shows Mary getting shot and killed on a hunt but then in the next moment she’s alive and fine like nothing happened and no one else remembers her dying. Then Not Cas shows him other similar clips of John and Mary dying and coming back. And dean’s like “what the hell? This isn’t—they’re supposed to be free.” And he’s getting angry as he looks over at Not Cas who maybe IS Cas but. Different. And he’s like “it’s not over is it? Chuck he’s…he’s still pulling the strings huh buddy?” And cas finally steps into the light, his face grim, and yes it’s Cas but he’s hardened and changed, because— “Yes. And Jack. He’s trapped in there and…the god power….it’s changing him.” And they both look at each other and there’s SO much they want to say and acknowledge but! it’s not the time ! Not yet, not when: “We’ve got work to do.” Then we zoom in to the screen behind dean playing the footage from the spnwin universe and suddenly we the audience is back in that world and we pick up their story too
