I don't like Ann Reardon anywhere near as much as I used to so I might be biased, but something about the way she talks makes it feel like she thinks her viewers are fucking stupid. Especially since she doesn't seem to have a very young audience. I understand the good intentions behind her content - and she still puts out some good videos, she can be flawed and still have qualities of course - especially as she has a focus on debunking misinformation.

But I feel slightly uncomfortable watching her microscope video. I actually appreciate the opportunity to look at some things through a microscope. I don't think it's bad to explain microscopes to anyone who may not have had earlier access to that knowledge. But the way she does it makes me feel like she thinks she's the only person with that knowledge and her adult viewers need their hand to be held to understand basic information.
