For Zip, it was a bit of a shock, but after realizing the illusion was not an immediate threat, they determined they needed new clothes and a makeover (had not had a chance to look in a mirror).

Now Zimm just views Wally* as a pest, like a determined house mouse.

*Wally's presence in the orbiter, specially, not as an overall being, which is a threat.

Idea for Warframe fanfic, writing them down.

Tenno Team rescues an unknown Void-Ship from the middle of a Grineer vs Corpus Warzone, and the ship it turns out to be an Extra-Solar Alien Culture with very much thankful (to the Tenno) and alive crew.

The crew are a species/culture diverse mix of Diplomats, Scientists, Security/Warriors, and the like, and are part of the Galactic Alliance’s (better name pending) investigation to both the Tau and Sol Systems.

The Captain of the “Hands of Fate” Ship goes by “Zed-X”, and is basically the one the Tenno/Lotus interact with the most. From a race of “Cat People”, she is more the “Riker/Kirk” style Captain. Very determined to help.

The “Face Tenno”, the team of 4 that lead the fic are:

Zimm (They/She): My Tenno, the “protag” Tenno, in a sense. Basically the one that did most of the quests. The Nerd and self-appointed leader. Primarily uses Umbra for this fic.

Nora (She/Her): The Berserker. The original Valkyr, who felt her Warframe be tortured by Alad V. Hates Corpus with a Passion. A jerk with a heart of gold. Uses Valkyr.

Jacks (He/They): The peace bringer, and big softy. Works often with Steel Meridian to rescue defectors. Uses a Rhino.

Dani (Ze/Zem): The Playful (who hides a wickedness). Plays up zeir buffoonish tendencies so people under estimate zem. Uses Garuda.

The Warframe fic I want to write will explore the “Variants” of Tenno that are not the “Deal-maker”.

Difter was formed when the Deal-maker!Operator took the deal with “The Man in the Wall”, the Variant who did not accept.

Drifter, in this context, is specific to the Deal-maker. The Deal-maker/protag of this fic is Zimm (my Tenno).

The other Tenno in this fic do not have “Drifters”, but their own Variants. (Note, when Zimm got thrown into the Void by Ballas, all “Operators” got thrown in as well because of Void Magic, causing the “Variants” to come in from Duviri.)

Nora, The Berserker, the Original Valkyr who was tortured by Alad V. Her “Variant” is The Diplomat, a Nora who avoided capture by Alad by escaping into the Void. Nora!B and Nora!D accept each other, with D handling most social situations, with B taking over for most fighting.

Jacks, the Peace-bringer, is a self-described “Big Softy”, who tries to be an emotional support for all. Their “Variant” is “The Hedonist” who is a Jacks who fell into personal desires/addiction and found themselves in the Void as a result. The 2 Jacks have conflicting feelings for each other, but ultimately cooperate.

Dani has not made proper contact with zer “Variant” even after The New War, but is confident zeirs is around somewhere.
