4. Describe their worst nightmare.

Raze: Having to hurt or kill someone close to him. He’s had to do it before and he would absolutely fall apart if he ever had to do it again.

Zexx: Losing Frankie and Beans, their two golem partners. They’ve been with Zexx almost half their life, and losing them would be like losing their parents all over again.

5. List 3 fears; one “surface level” fear, one “repressed” fear, and one “deep dark” fear.

For Raze: Upsetting his parents is a surface level fear, he tries to chicken out of confronting his parents whenever something goes wrong, sometimes to the point of tears. He’s really just a big baby.His repressed fear is losing control of himself. It’s happened only once before in his life and he nearly died for it. He’s cautious these days about how he uses his abilities, but every so often the memory crosses his mind and he becomes careful, inside and out about who he’s willing to cross.Raze’s deepest, darkest fear is being the source of harm to his family. He’s a pretty selfish guy, but when it comes to his loved ones, he’s not willing to take chances when their safety is involved. He was so afraid for his parents well-being that he separated himself from them for almost ten years.

For Zexx: Confrontation is something they often avoid, and whenever there is a fight, Zexx immediately goes for the sidelines. In a skirmish, they can attempt, but they mostly dislike fighting, so Zexx often runs away in the heat of the moment.A repressed fear would be question number four. It’s not something they often think about, but when the chance that it could happen arises, it makes Zexx second guess their golems’ sturdiness.Zexx’s deepest, darkest fear is dying before discovering the truth about their parents’ disappearance. Their parents are the one driving force that keeps them motivated in all instances.

8. Do they have anything that triggers them?

Raze: Questions, particularly personal and rhetorical ones. His former mentor often used that as a way of getting into his head and he becomes very tense when people try and pry into his personal life.

Zexx: Heavy rain. The sound of heavy rainfall makes Zexx very uncomfortable and panicky due to a certain childhood event they refuse to recall to others. On especially stormy nights, Zexx isolates themself in their room, avoiding everyone until the storm has passed.

16. Is there anyone who makes them feel inferior?

Raze: Doll, an old childhood rival of his. She was almost better than Raze in every way and gloated heavily about her superiority at every occasion. He hates the mere mention of her and speaks of her in the most derogatory manner possible.

Zexx: There isn’t really anyone who makes Zexx feel inferior.

25. Have they ever been betrayed by someone they thought they could trust? (for Raze)

Raze was betrayed by his former mentor, Gantz, and despite having never forgiven him, is still often forced to work with him on a number of occasions. Deep down, he still hates Gantz, but can’t bring himself to kill the man for various reasons.

40. Do they often blame themselves for other people’s problems?

Raze doesn’t often get involved in the affairs of others, so he finds it easy to disconnect from other people’s problems.Zexx, however, has a fairly guilty conscience, and usually connects any association they have with another as a possible “cause” of what went wrong, usually resulting in a crying fit and several strings of apologies, often to the confusion of the other person.
