omg ok so i had this video come up on my ig reels from this guy prestanium who is building an impreza/baja mix that he’s calling the bajaza blast and it’s baja blast colored with a custom wrap and i’m obsessed look at this thing
and to answer the question yes oh my god the more of these out there the better i’m so obsessed and i hope you can get a baja and make it happen! the outback sounds sweet though, i’ve had a manual subaru before and my dad has one currently!

hi !! I was browsing the neocities tag & saw your post about keeping pages accessible (something that I've already been keen to do once I set my page up, so I'm glad to see other people talking about it) - I think the pop up warning is a great idea but was wondering if you had any resources handy to figure out how to code that into a page? I have so many ideas on how to make it accessible AND cool (might contain my blinkies & other flashy things in a single page... the blinkie corral....) & this is something I'd love to have in my arsenal :)
hi! i'm really happy to hear that you're interested in making your site more accessible, especially because you're going to put blinkies and flashing images on your site. (a blinkie corral sounds adorable btw!)
the window alert () method is super simple. w3schools has a page on it here. they also have a page on all three of the javascript popup boxes here. the three kinds are alert boxes, confirm boxes, and prompt boxes. personally, i'd use either the alert or confirm box methods in this context.
not sure how familiar you are with coding so i apologize if you're already aware of this, but the code for these boxes goes inside the <script> tag, which goes inside the <body> tag in your html document.
i will give you a heads-up: last time i contacted neocities support, popup boxes mess with the screenshotter, which means your site previews will be messed up and won't update. a way to circumvent this issue is to have the index page of your site include content warnings that people have to read through before continuing to your actual homepage.

hi snail I think since u have been off tumblr for so long u weren't here when I got into grad school but I've been studying stress physiology of freeze tolerant crickets for the past two years!!!!! it's so fucking cool I love freeze tolerant insects in general because like. look at those little guys and all their diverse strategies for surviving winters in temperate climates!!! or the ones that have year round freeze tolerance because they live in arctic or alpine conditions!!!!! it's SO COOL 🦗❄️
OH that is so cool!!!! honestly the adaptations bugs have to deal with all kinds of stressful environments always amazes me! it’s so awesome that you are studying that ahh please tell me more about what you are doing!!
