Taking Chances

Summary: After a random encounter introduces you to Dean Winchester, you can't shake the magnetic pull you feel towards him. For years, you've felt like everything in your life is under control--a promising career, financial stability and no real responsibilities. Dean's a hunter; it's his life and job. But somehow when you meet, your worlds are flipped upside down and you have to decide if it's a chance worth taking.

Update ✨

As the semester comes to an end, I am slowly re-emerging :) I had so much on my plate for the last couple of weeks that I neither had the time nor mental capacity to write. My mental health also took a dip there for a bit but we're back on solid grounds!

SO.

Here is a list of all the fics currently in progress:

OOTW chapter 5 - I just started this today. Probably gonna be a bit before this one's out. I did have a plan for how the next chapters were supposed to go down, but I'm taking things down a different path after all so my master plan has to be adjusted.

Broken chapter 5 - it exists in theory. I have a much more detailed plan for Broken than for OOTW, but I was so focused on all the misery while sketching out Broken that the bonding parts between the reader and Joel got kind of overlooked and I am somehow straining to find ways for them to bond that don't include trauma. (Grateful for bonding ideas, if anyone has any?!)

Dean Mini Series part 3 - a draft exists. I don't love it.

Not You Again part 2 - I did start on this weeks ago and it has an excellent start and nothing else. So. It'll probably be a while for this one too.

There are currently a lot of deadlines I have to meet outside of Tumblr, so I'm temporarily giving up on deadlines (or publishing dates) for any fics.

I also have to look into the taglists again because I saw a post by my lovely friend @zepskies that mentioned a lot of changes in regards to the tagging system so I'll have to check that before I publish a fic again.

There's also a million fics by other creators in my drafts, waiting to be read.

Oh, to have more than 24 hours in a day!

I look forward to having more time to focus on writing and reading again in the upcoming weeks.
