The way this is a real possibility that does not seem to cross people’s minds. They just go to whatever reason will make them the most upset. Maybe Zendaya is picking the roles that she thinks will work best for her right now. Like she will never satisfy her fans. I knew that whenever her next role was going to be announced, people will have something to complain about (the same pole complaining that they have not been getting any casting news) and it started happening as soon as the news dropped. Obviously, I would love Z to work with more black creatives but she will do what makes sense for her at the end of the day. She is scrutinised so much chile. Can’t even get a casting announcement without drama. Meanwhile, he peers get to be cast in wherever whenever, without the expectations to solve all the problems in the industry.

Yea, like I think we would ALL love to see Z working with some black people lol.... or shoot, it doesn't even have to be black people .. just more poc in general? 😅

But yea, the thought has crossed my mind that maybe the roles that Black Hollywood has for her are just not the types of rules she wants?

Tbh, I don't need to see Z playing a slave, or a hoodrat queen on welfare... 🥴

But imo Black Hollywood has some pretty decent roles too though? I would love to see her work with Jordan Peele for example. Or Ryan Coogler for example. Ava Duvernay?? Kerry Washington? Denzel Washington? (She already worked with his son lol🤭) Shoot... at this point, I'd take her working with Shonda Rhymes lol 😆
