News - Masakazu Katsura's debut manga, 1983's Wingman, will be getting a new live-action TV series! The series will begin in Japan in October of 2024 to celebrate the original series' 40th anniversary. Toei also made an anime of Wingman that ran from 1984-1985. Katsura is best known in the US for his later works, such as Video Girl Ai, DNA^2, and Shadow Lady. He also did character designs for Iria - Zeiram: The Animation, Tiger & Bunny, and the video game Astral Chain.

yknow, some ppl were like "oh zeiram 2 is sooo much better than zeiram" or "the first zeiram is wayy better" and then I watched zeiram 2 and I was like. guys. its the same movie.. like, I like the zeiram movies. this is not a problem for me, I'm just surprised ppl insisted there was some large difference between the two when it really didn't feel that way for me
