TODAY, Sunday May 5! Artbook @ MoMA PS1 Bookstore invites you to celebrate Linda Weintraub’s new book, ‘WHAT’S NEXT? Eco Materialism & Contemporary Art’ in the MoMA PS1 Book Space. From 12–5 PM join Weintraub for a free brooch-making workshop. Make your own Eco Material brooch honoring neglected forms of materiality: feathers, acorns, pinecones, bones, moss, twigs, mushrooms, seeds and/or lichens. From 3–4:30 PM, Weintraub will participate in the panel, "Monologue / Dialogue / Trialogue: Is Eco Materialism ‘What’s Next’ in Art?" with artists Wenda Gu, Dove Bradshaw, Laura Parker, Zbigniew Oksiuta and Amy Youngs. The workshop and discussion are FREE and open to the public. Participants of all ages may drop in throughout the day.
