En los primeros años su música se calificaba como black metal, desde 1994 como pagan metal, usando grabaciones de guitarra acústica. Posteriormente, la banda comenzó a tocar death metal, sustituyendo la temática pagana por el ocultismo y la mitología de Oriente Medio. El nombre del grupo es el de un demonio de la mitología hebrea, llamado Behemot. 30 de diciembre de 1978. Nace Zbigniew Robert Prominski en Tczew, Polonia. Es un músico, compositor, percusionista, guitarrista y productor polaco. En 1995 se unió a la banda de death metal Damnation. Dos años más tarde recibió la invitación de Adam Darski de unirse al grupo Behemoth, con quienes ha grabado seis álbumes de estudio. Junto a Behemoth ha sido nominado en tres ocasiones a los premios musicales Fryderyka, en la categoría de mejor álbum de rock/metal por Demigod (2004) y The Apostasy (2007), y en la categoría de mejor álbum de heavy metal por el disco en vivo At The Arena ov Aion - Live Apostasy (2008). En 1998, junto a otros miembros de Damnation, fundó la banda de brutal death metal Azarath. En 2008 los lectores de la revista Terrorizer lo eligieron como mejor batería de heavy metal. Desde 2009 usa baterías Spaun y platillos Paiste. Zbigniew Robert Promiński (b. 30 December 1978 in Tczew),[2] stage name Inferno, is a Polish heavy metal musician, best known as the drummer for blackened death metal band Behemoth. He has also contributed to bands such as Azarath, Witchmaster, Damnation, Deus Mortem,Artrosis, Christ Agony and Devilyn. Also, his endorsements include Paiste, Czarcie Kopyto, Spaun Drums, Vic Firth, and Wyborowa.

Inferno joined Behemoth in 1997. "Slaying The Prophets ov Isa" and "Pazuzu" from The Apostasy he has reached a tempo of 270bpm in the studio.[citation needed] Shemhamforash reached 275bpm in studio. Slaves Shall Serve was 270 bpm, but at Sweden Rock Festival in 2005, he played it at around 290bpm.

At NAMM 2008, Spaun Drums unveiled a 8x14 signature Inferno snare drum. The 18 ply Maple/Birch snare drum features a gun-metal finish with custom graphics and diecast hoops.[3]

In 2010 he changed cymbal endorsement to Paiste Cymbals. He currently uses the Rude Wild cymbal series.[4]

Sıkıntıdan -Bunalma anlamında kullandım- ayaklarımı Chris Adler gibi kullanmaya başladım. Birkaç saate Now You've Got Something to Die For çalmaya başlarım diye düşünüyorum. Cumaya kadar da Inferno ile kapışmaya hazır hâle gelirim. Artık onunla da ya At the Left Hand ov God'ta ya da As Above So Below'da kapışırız. İkisinde de yıkacağım Zbiginiew seni! Kurtuluşun yok oğlum!

Hayatımdaki en berbat bahar dönemi oldu bu dönem. Bizim her konuda uzman, mükemmel(!) bölüm öyle bir sınav programı hazırladı ki 6. haftadan beri sınavlara çalışıyorum, 7. haftadan beri de sınav oluyoruz. Dönemin bitmesine 2 hafta kaldı, sonra da finaller başlıyor. Yani ekimden beri sürekli bir sınav ortamının içinde geçiyor. ÖSS saçmalığından kurtulalı yıllar oldu lan, bu ne!

Ben ne ara tatil yapacağım lan?! Bu nasıl iş?!
