I feel broken.

My obsession with One Direction began in 6th grade. (I'm a freshman as of now.) They only had one album at the time and I fell in love with one voice in particular. Naturally I watched the "WMYB" music video curious as to who this was, and sure enough it was Zayn Malik. Ever since then, Zayn was my fav/5. From his looks to voice I cried everytime I heard or saw him on television, in pictures, online. As all things do, my obsession surely died out earlier this year but I still respected them since they were the biggest part of my middle school life. Today, I found out that Zayn Malik left the band. I love all of them very much but this hit right at home. I saw it coming, I knew he wasn't accustomed to this lifestyle. I am sitting in a puddle of my tears as of now, not because of his choice to leave but of his courage and strength through all of these years to keep doing what he did for US. The fans. He loved us so much and still does. He couldn't do it. And nevertheless I am so proud of Zayn. Also, a big fuck you to media for this. Maybe now our society will learn to give celebrities (as they are people too) the privacy they deserve. Or maybe they'll just take this situation as just another big juicy story. Also, I highly doubt he's going for a solo career. He's trying to stray from the media. So I feel like those rumours should stop before they blow out of proportion like everything esle.
