This list was made to not only catalogue where missions were, but to also make note of all the collectibles that you can scan for.

*this list was based off of Legendary Edition, but it should still be applicable for the OG trilogy(?)

The formatting is as follows:

>System Cluster -System name Planets Missions

*if there are multiple asteroid belts in a system, Asteroid belt 1 refers to the belt closest to the star.

*Cardinal directions are used to describe where the collectible is in belts, and so north is the top of the screen, east is right, etc.

A ME3 list will be coming soon! And if people are interested I can document all the discovery blurbs you get from scanning non-minerals: insignias, writings, etc. (hell, I might do it anyways but its nice to know I'm not shouting into the void)

Mass Effect replay. Hackett called again, so off to do the 90% morality worlds instead of saving the galaxy:

-Hackett's glad I'm in the area. Sir, I'm in the Argos Rho cluster. Cacus is in Hades Gamma. That is not "in the area".

-Laying it on a bit thick, isn't he? It's an emergency situation, I'm the only one he trusts to handle it, hundreds will die (if you pick the renegade option)

-Shepard's learned well. If you go renegade and refuse the mission, they retort millions will die if they get sidetracked

-And once again, biotics are antagonists. Mass Effect 1's sub theme about the place of human biotics in the Alliance continues

-So the Council revoked the status of an unnamed operative. Corrective actions have been taken.

Weren't Shepard's meetings with the Council at the start of the game public? Saren's hologram was huge.

Then my Shepard announced Saren was behind the attack on Eden Prime in the interview with Khalisah. I think they may have even said they were pursuing Saren?

Cover up or continuity error?

-Well, that was harder than necessary but Liara finally has Colossus armor. Meanwhile I'm running around in old Titan IV armor... Just have to have faith I'm smarter than Liara's or Tali's AI.

Plutus

-Nonuel is one of the oldest entries in star charts. Whose star charts? I'm going to presume the Alliance's.

-Two dead mercenaries, two beds in the trailer... Were the mercenaries a team that got in a fight over the loot?

Killing each other over the Matriach Dilinaga's writings is a bit excessive. Those things are everywhere, give it a day and you'll trip over another.

-Why are there two thresher maws and a mineral off the map. This is unnecessary.

-Zayarter - So what are the geometric patterns of light? They never come up again. The remains of an old civilization? A current one in hiding?

-Faringor - So they just left the movie sets on the planet when they were done? Does C-Space not have laws against littering?

-Chohe - See, whoever lived in this trailer had three of Matriach Dilinaga's writings. There is no need to kill anyone over them.

-Did the mercenaries kill the dude attempting to salvage the satellite? It's notably unlootable.

-This mission is still a pain, but the guide I looked up remains true. Lure the biotic terrorists into the hallway.

-Except the terrorist leader never comes out. I always have to go find him. Thank you, Lift.

-"Evolution of Humanity", indeed. Biotics aren't an evolution, sir. They're a result of exposure to Element Zero and most exposed die or suffer horribly. How are you expecting to consistently create more biotics?

Let me explain.

We know that Gems are a conquering race, but we also know that the Diamonds have many, many other planets outside of Earth under their control. And given who they intended to use Earth, it only makes sense that other planets might have met the same fate. And we know that many Quartz types are made on Earth, or were, but but not all! And some might be able to be made on other planets as well!

For example, according to the Mass Effect wiki “Edolus' surface is covered by wide deserts of silicate sand, with only a few areas of igneous rock highlands to break the abrasive, dust-choked wind.” Sounds like a pretty ideal place to make a Peridot, doesn’t it? And you can use that logic on SO many things. You could argue Sapphires come from Quana, Voeld, or even Patatanlis. Probably something small though, considering how rare they are. Bismuth might be made on Syided, Rubies on Zayarter, Pearls on Chohe, Lapis Lazuli on Havarl! The possibilities are endless. 

Just something for you guys to think about, especially you Diamonds out there other than Pink because you only had one planet sorry girl
