赤松[Akamatsu] Pinus densiflora

赤[Aka] means red. It is so named because of its red trunk. Also known as 雌松[Mematsu]. There is a species 黒松[Kuromatsu](P. thunbergii), which does not have a red trunk. I’m watching Ming Dynasty again, and I hate the male lead so much. So much. He’s arrogant and cruel and manipulative and smarmy and maybe that’s the point? No one in this show is looking good as a human being except maaaaaybe Ruowei, who haas already had her character arc apparently and has learned to let go of her anger, maaaaybe Xu Bin, whose greatest flaw so far is the same as Zhu Yilong’s character in Minglan, that in order to keep the peace, he won’t fight hard enough to keep his love. And I respect someone who will give up their personal wish in order to keep thousands of others safe, so I rather like Xu Bin. Everyone else is a piece of shit.

But Zhu Zanji is the most stomach-turningly irritating of them. I want to punch him in the face every time he shows up. I would stop watching even though I made it to the halfway point, he gets on my nerves that much. But this is based on history and his character dies relatively young, so the thought of him finally kicking the bucket is keeping me going.

While I was finishing up my Library Escape picture I was thinking about other concept idea's I could draw for my Fanfiction. One of those ideas was about Link's Uncle and what happened to his body after you leave him in the game. Link's Uncle is a member of the Knights of Hyrule an elite order of Knight's who have appeared in other Zelda Games like Ocarina of Time, The Oracle series and Four Swords Adventures to name a few. And In Ataru Cagiva's Manga (Where the Name Zanji comes from) He's was the Head Trainer of solders of Hyrule. meaning he was well known figure in the Hylian military like a veteran of sorts. so my Idea so far for this scene is that after Link and Zelda's escape a guard will inform the King and Aghanim that the Princess was abducted. The King will order an Immediate lockdown of Hyrule Castle and Town and that the surrounding villages and country side be searched to find her. then while investigating the Castle they find the bodies of Zanji and Hylian Guard along with his comrade. They ask him what happened that night and who killed the guard and Zanji. the Man will explain that it all happened so fast and he's not really sure but that he remembers seeing a boy in green wearing the coat with the crest of the Knights of Hyrule attack him and his comrade. after further investigation they find out that the boy was possibly Link Zanji's Nephew. And that Link had spent some time with Princess Zelda during the festival. Aghanim Knowing that he Killed Zanji tells the King that Link was the one who killed the his Uncle and the Guard before he kidnapped the Princess. and that Zanji was trying to Protect the Princess from his evil nephew. The King will place an reward for the capture of Link. And that because of Zanji's Attempt at saving the Princess that He will be buried in Hyrule Cathedral along side the Nobility.
