zane has mingled and messed around with a lot of people in his life,  but he’s never enjoyed it as much as he’s enjoyed having fiona.  she’s fun in every possible way and perfectly matches his spunk.  when he suggested a date night consisting of going to the nearest seediest bar and pretending to be other people and scamming as many folks as possible,  she’d been all too eager to get it going.  it’s a reaction he’s never gotten before and if he wasn’t already head over heels for her,  he’d be now!  

he’s using his best western accent tonight,  accompanied all too fittingly by a large rimmed hat and spurs on his boots.  he fits the role perfectly and the accent seems completely natural.  no one’s doubting him at all and he’s got several folks invested in his very fake stories.  too invested to notice how much money he’s stolen from their pockets.  a few guns here and there,  too.  he leans away to take a sip from his whiskey and briefly meets gazes with fiona.  that signature little smirk of her’s shows up on her lipsticked lips and she winks,  a simple gesture that makes his heart rush.  it almost makes him stumble over the fake persona he’s created in the past hour,  but he keeps himself steady.  he can’t resist her though,  and simply excuses himself from his current company and across the bar to her side.  like the fantastic actor he is,  he tips the brim of his hat in greeting and offers a friendly,  welcoming smile.  “howdy there,  ma’am.  i’m sure ya hear this often…  but what’s a gal like you doing in a place like this?”
