Seeing progress is so good... I feel so good about becoming this new version of myself. Look at this shit. Just fucking look at me. This is my face now.

I legitimately have no neck syndrome. Anyway my big breakout is starting to clear up and I feel okay. Very alive.

Yesterday was a blast. Lolololol Got myself new foundation the other day so I put on full face make up yesterday in 15 minutes flat. Felt a bit like a cool cartoon villain all day. Went on my break and put down the first half of my $1000 towards a car with all new under the hood, even if he's ugly as sin. Getting a new(ish) car for myself for my birthday is both sad because I love my car Becky (but she's faking apart), and also thrilling because I won't have to buy more coolant every week and the car just starts on the first try all the time!!! Wowee!! Also, the old dude/ family friend who is selling me this car had this old man cat who knows what's good, dude. So maybe cat-who-knows-what-is-good will help y'all out this week.

When Brian and I got married we changed both our last names to Nicols instead of taking o e of the ones we already had. It was part power move because or families hate each other and part queer culture letting us change who we let in our 'real' family.

Recently Brian's younger sibling, Addy (Ace/Aro/A-Enby) and our hella cool roomie (Redacted) (Ace-Demi) have gotten engaged to be lethal spouses and platonic life partners and are planning an Imbolc wedding next year! I'm so excited for them! Yesterday they were in the back seat talking about which name to take and they both kind of agreed that their own names were a bit lacking and now they're considering using Nicols since Brian basically raised Addy on their own and we- as surrogate parents- are doing our best to get therm out of the abusive biological parental situation they are living in now.

I'm so blessed to have such good people in my life and in my little family. If you would have told my seven-year-old self- who was just starting to realize something was wrong with my body vs self relationship- that at 23 I would be gloriously happily married, living life authentically as a man, helping my 'child' plan a wedding and preparing to start school for a dream job... I think fetus Zak would think I was full of shit, but I also think he could really have something to look forward to.

Well that solves my "I want mom in my life but I don't know how to deal with her" problem. Now I don't want get in my life and I know exactly how to deal with her.

See, if you wait long enough undecided on an issue like this then the person invariably will eventually either prove themself worthy or show how truly undeserving they are of your earnest attention.
