so a bunch of tieflings from the grove just outright go missing after Act 1. No bodies in the Shadow Curse, no letters, no dialogues from others. Just a dozen-plus missing tieflings. Coincidentally, only one of them was at the tiefling party.

Anyway, my headcanon is that the tiefling caravan split in two, with those who we never see again being the 'early' group - who managed to avoid the shadows and Absolute Cult and eventually get where they're going safely. It was just the 2nd, later, group that got caught up in the shadows. Guex got an early start with the early group and we never see him again, while those who hung around later were the ones we had to help out again.

As you all may or may not knowwww....this big bug guy here used to be the king of Sugar Rush and we all- well at least me and some other totally responsible adults- kinda watched him get himself blown up but I guess not. SO! Now he's back and is just pretty much begging to stay cause I guess he doesn't have anywhere else to go, good thing he still has a kingdom of kids who love him like a dad :) (not me though, he's more kinda like a pet now) But definitely feel free to ask us like anything!!

General information on the racers/the au in general: they're all around the ages of 12-15 (I will NOT be referring to them as 9 nu uh), they're all aware of Turbo, there ARE some ships present so just because i refer to King Candy as a dad it's supposed to be more of like a father figure not so much as a father father for obvious reasons, the recolors (Citrusella, Sticky, Torvald, and Nougatisa) are present but have slight alterations in their designs so I just wanted to preface that they are not ocs, also dw sour bill is here :)

Basic rules: no proshippers, pedos, don't send weird shit towards the racers or anyone in general in the asks, no homophobia or transphobia towards the LGBT characters or just LGBT people in general, any and all (positive) fan works are welcomed!!, and remember this is a ROLEPLAY AU blog pls don't like get offended if i potray anyone in this series in a way you don't agree with, just block

Companion piece to Back In Town - Omar doesn't realise you're back in town until you turn up at his crime scene.

The sun is filtering through the curtains when Omar wakes up tangled up in you. You’re draped across his chest, your cheek resting upon the space where his heart beats for you and only you. It may have been three years since the two of you were a couple but Omar’s feelings for you haven’t changed and he knows yours haven’t either. You still gravitate towards each other even after all this time.

You stir against him and his lips brush over your forehead, gentle and reassuring. You settle then, mumbling a little in your sleep before you snuggle closer and Omar closes his eyes because these are the moments he misses, the mornings the two of you used to spend just being with one another amidst the chaos of the world.

When he wakes up a little later, you’re still out for the count. You’d been on that case for thirty six hours before his team tagged in, it’s the reason he drove you home last night, you were too exhausted to function. He slips from the sheets and heads into the kitchen to make coffee.

He didn’t get to see much of your apartment last night. He’d been too tired, too focused on climbing into bed and holding you.

It’s as he’s waiting for the kettle to boil that he finds himself studying your bookshelf, you have some old favourite’s and some new titles. It’s when his eyes come to rest on the black picture frame that his heart thuds a little faster, he picks it up, the edges of his mouth twitching up into a smile.

It’s of the two of you at his birthday, the one before you left for Delaware. You’re sitting in his lap and he’s looking into your eyes like you’re the only woman in the world because you were, you still are. He glances up as the bedroom door clicks open and he sees you standing there wearing nothing but the white shirt he was clad in yesterday.

“Omar…” You say softly. “Come back to bed.”
