Okay, so I was just recently playing my EO2 game, and I was reminded of something that I absolutely HATE!!!

Here's my rant. I'm ranting.

Can somebody explain to me why EO2 thought it was a good idea to have Greenland sharks attack you in the North Pole?

Seriously, that's BULLSHARK!!! 💢😠😡

Greenland sharks don't even attack people?! This is absurd!!! I shouldn't have to deal with Greenland shark attacks at all in this game?! Unless I unexpectedly encounter a Great White during a side quest, I have the God-given constitutional right to dive in arctic and antarctic waters PEACEFULLY without having to deal with a SINGLE — DANGEROUS — CREATURE!!! 😤

And what's even WORSE is that I have to deal with A BUNCH OF THESE JERKS if I DARE to dive at night!!

They be like, "Hey, Player is here, let's SHARKPILE HIM!!!! GRAAAA!!!!" 😈

And I'm like, "NOOOOOO!!!! I DON'T WANNA GET SHARKPILED!!! I ALREADY GET THAT IN CICEROS STRAIT AND ZAHHAB REGION!!! LEAVE ME ALOOOOOOOOOONE!!!" *SOBS* 😵‍💫😭😫😱😵‍💫😭😫😭😱😭😵‍💫

So yeah, that's my rant. Does anyone else feel this way? 🥴

Huzzah another person who played endless ocean blue world. Favorite moments in that game?

oh, man, the nostalgia i have with that game... i think my two favorite moments were entering valka castle and hearing nella fantasia playing, and then all of the diving in the zahhab region depths bc im a slut for deep sea diving

i don't think it's actually true that these fish are like red sea mascots... i was looking into it, and the original japanese script just says they're "symbolic of the red sea", which makes a little more sense to me lol

it's moments like these where dolphin emulator's fog distortion is a little more clear... on real hardware, this scene would have a lot more water fog making the depths look a little more mysterious lol

you know? i think it would have been cool if some zebra sharks surrounded the twin crevasses, kind of like in eo1!

there's even some leftover creature placement data to suggest they were put here at one point in development!

fun aquatark fact: this fish used to by my all-time favourite as a kid, at least for a few months! that’s bc it took me ages to unlock zahhab my first time through the game, so all the new fish there absolutely amazed little me

probably why i still love bluecheek butterflyfish so much…
