Absolutely love the effect of him seeing Ciel's apartment as covered in blood. I feel it goes some way to showing just how much the event is still affecting him, given how little time has passed.

I really love that after he accepts that he murdered Arcueid, everything starts to fade and darken more and more, as he gets colder and colder, sitting on that bench.

And then Ciel comes along, bringing color back to his world and saving him both physically and metaphorically.

She brings him in from the cold and warms him up, and she also helps him work through what he just did, even if he doesn't outright admit he just thinks he murdered someone.

Ciel truly saves him in this moment.

I really like that his body temperature dwindling to nothing could be seen to say that the murder just makes him feel cold inside, it's a metaphorical coldness in a way.

But it also is a literal coldness, because even though it hasn't been said, he walked out of the hotel and basically sat in the rain, getting soaked for who knows how long.

Absolutely love that he says that last line.

In this route, he doesn't try to deny that he did this. That's not what's a lie.

What's a lie is trying to claim he didn't do this, that he didn't just murder someone and cut them up for no reason at all.

It being a lie is exactly what's not real here.

Ciel, an extremely skilled vampire hunter, completely unkillable under most scenarios, and she is brought low by the offer of curry buns.

I’ll give Michael this much, he definitely has a kind of imposing name.

Maybe imposing isn’t the right word, but it definitely sounds fitting for a centuries old being.

I love how simple this is.

He doesn’t run and plunge it into him in a climactic moment.

The climactic moment was him breaking the floor apart, showing just how wrong Roa is, that’s when he defeated him.
