Since it’s my first time watching Bones, I’m very pleased with Zach Addy, because he’s so adorable. I’m sorry but that boy is a little cutie patootie at best. I just know I’m going to be so unnormal about him.

Okay, the second one is where Zach is rambling on about a case in the lab, and the reader and he have been awkwardly trying to figure out what to do about the fact that they both like each other, so she just kinda leans up a kisses him cause he was being really cute

“I can’t figure out what type of blade was used on this femur here. The edges are serrated, but the width between each edge is too large for anything I’ve found.” Zack shook his head as he moved away from the microscope.

You quietly chuckled next to him. You leaned on your hand propped up by your elbow and looked at him. He talked to so quickly, so emphatically about the case that was so frustrating to him. You couldn’t take your eyes off of him when he was like this.

You and Zack had a very confusing relationship. You worked together, side by side every day. For the first few months, he did his best to show you the ropes and you proved to be able to hold your own. You started hanging out all the time at work, eating lunch together, and it slowly moved to have dinner after work. Then, the hangouts bled into the weekends. Nothing had happened, you just enjoyed being around each other. 

But you wanted more. Your heart fluttered when you were around him. You couldn’t imagine not seeing him every day, but you were always held back from fear of creating conflict at work.

Zack noticed that you weren’t responding to him like you normally would and began waving his hand in front of your face.

“Huh? I’m sorry.” You stood up quickly.

“Are you okay?” He put a hand on your shoulder.

This was it. This was the moment. You took a step forward and put your lips to his. He moved back in shock, but melted into the kiss. You brought your hands up to his neck and pulled him as close to your body as you could. He turned and pushed you against the wall, fingers tangling in your hair.

Your lips seemed to move together effortlessly. His lips were much softer than you had ever expected. He was timid at first, but took charge quickly. His tongue begged for entrance and you let him. Moving together, feeling the sparks shoot out from your body, you never wanted this moment to end.

“Y/N,” Cam called as she rounded the corner to the room you were currently in. Angela was quickly behind her. 

“Oops.” Angela said as they leapt back out of the room.

“Wow. I had no idea.” Cam chuckled.

“It’s about time.” Angela laughed walking away.

“I’m sorry.” You pulled away from Zack, cheeks ablaze. “I couldn’t help myself.”

“I’m sorry it took so long.” He fixed his lab coat.

“So, dinner?” You turned to leave.

“I could eat.” He quickly followed.
