Class of 09 makes me feel so normal /gen.

Like, it's not JUST realistic writing. It's that when I was a teen, I told outrageous lies about sex and drugs and unreasonably cruel treatment. Just like, for attention and to get out of trouble and as a way of coping with the REAL traumatic shit I was going through. Most of the time it was just exploratory behavior! (Idk if THAT'S usual for teens, but I have autism and psychosis, which can incentivise exploratory behavior.) And finally seeing THAT represented in such a mundane slice of life style of story kinda helped me stop repressing and forgive myseld about that shit. Yeah it was wrong, but I was a fucking traumatized teen, and a pretty normal teen on top of that. I'm not going to hell for that shit, yknow?

#when i became a young adult i hung out with a LOT of much more progressive people #and i always felt judged and inferior because just Normal Teen Behavior was SO fucking evil to them.#yyeah it was wrong to be bigoted and mean as a teenager but like. i think ur shame should be directly proportional to your impact.#and then they called ME fake for having the southern 'howdy' attitude. like. you guys literally lie and make nice #yall are fake as shit #anyway holding down with other (vastly peronally improved) rural kids really healed me as well.#we go from talkin abt social equity and needing to dismantle systems and fund support systems for marginalized and disprivileged communities #to reminiscing about wanting to stab ppl when we were 14 and it is so good for my healing acrually #🦌#posting on main cuz a couple of my mutuals will be interested i think
