so wild how i bet nendor doesnt remember the last time guillermo genuinely laughed like that. it must have happened, certainly, sometime within 15 years. he must have been able to make guillermo laugh like that guy was doing. everyone was singing his praises and cheering for him and it didnt even matter that nandor wasnt there. how could he, he was a vampire and no one invited him in. but he overheard where it was and flew there as a bat and scoped out the location and what does he see but his- his nothing, now. his nothing standing before all these humans who dont even know about the stake guillermo still keeps strapped to his leg just in case. they dont know him at all. but nandor does. he did, he thought he did. but guillermo isnt his anything anymore, fifteen years is so short for vampires so why does this hurt last so long? he is so proud of guillermo it hurts and his laugh makes him pause because he couldnt be what he needed for guillermo, not the vampire to turn him, not the master to keep him. and certainly not the one to make him laugh like that.
