onmy*u tai$enki ended predictably badly but it was fun. would have been nice to have spent more time watching it but i was feeling sick so i ended up bingeing it. the furry designs were epic. really liked the shikigami system; the way the toujinshi gets involved but isnt straight up ordering attack moves feels like a nice balance btwn pkmn and digimon. yuuma sucked though. i respect rangetsu but his toujinshi fucking sucked. teru was objectively bad which sucks because his base personality was great its just that giving him a crush on nazuna is creepy as hell. did not appreciate the parallels w teru and isou. mizuki and nazuna deserved better by far lmao. wish souma and nazuna got to change outfits sometimes, nazuna wearing her priestess dress everywhere sucked. riku was by far the star of the show. i ended up liking gashin/masaomi more than i expected, his conclusion and reunion with his sister was really sweet. but honestly asides from the kind of tasteless writing to wrap things up with utsuho, splitting the lines/screen between the main 3 and their shikigami was. so bad. ruined the flow. would have preferred by far for each of them to have a big fight episode--with riku and kogenta's reserved for last of course--than the way they split up the lines it was. so bad. also the really hasty form upgrades lmao. unnecessary? anyways.
