hmmm thinking abt how much i hate that trope where a character will literally leave the entire world/population to die just to protect the one person they hold dear.. idk esp when they’re portrayed as some sort of hero, i just think it’s such a boring and shallow characterisation to not hold anything as equally important and to not have any sort of moral conflict. to simply easily abandon all forms of life for the sake of your own selfish joy is so gross to me… like thats just a one dimensional villain. boring AND evil to the bone whilst being portrayed as a romantic ewwww.

#i was going through owari no seraph tik toks and everyone is praising yuu for saving mika over saving the whole world and it’s just so ugh #i never rly like mika or yuu but this just solidified my hatred for them lol #they’re not only boring and take up all the screentime but they’re also annoying af #yuu being portrayed as the good guy mc and the hero is so annoying #why did they make shinoa fall for such a loser 😭 i wish she was the main character soooo bad #yuu was cool pre-mika but after he returned i feel like all of yuu’s motivations and characterisation went to shit rip #he’s just obsessed w mika that’s it ??#and everyone eats it up bec it’s gay #couldn’t be meeee !#shinoa deserves better😭😭😭😭😭 she could’ve been the coolest 😭
