uh. i don't usually have oreos..? my mom is a health nut, and oreos are like the most unhealthy things on earth. i like the plain, original oreos (out of the few times i've had them) but i've never tried any of the fancy flavours, like mint. i don't like mint though, so idt i'd like those oreos (unless they're, like, really sweet and not quite minty).

Not that I need to know how this guy was tortured and potentially murdered but I don't understand what revving the car did to him...

Oh is he the minister...so he ordered the kidnapping and torture (murder?)...oh, iiiiiiiiiinnnteresting, so he's finding people who have abilities and 'disposing' of them. Of course...makes sense they government would be scared.

So Lee is playing the young version of Chadok? Ok, this is going to take a while to get used to! And they should really have used a different actor for the minister too. It's 36 years ago. Actually, Lee would have been a better younger version of the minister - they have a similar nose and facial structure...

Hooooo yeah, this back story is not making me warm to Supot thankfully. And I'm trying to think who Tay's character might be in the future and I'm coming up blank just now.

I don't see why the minister would trust Supot after he's shown to have broken the rules and lied to him so easily. Maybe it's because his friend would be in danger?

Surely that's not how that phone would have sounded to ring? And they would have needed more time to kill, dismember and burn Yuth's (Tay's character) body...

Oh Nyx 88 is the virus that Nate has, right? And, yep, there's the reveal.

I would not turn my back on someone who is preparing a syringe with a virus that could destroy my special ability. YoungSupot is so naïve to think he could just walk out of there. And then to just stand there where he can get grabbed and held by the bodyguards...smh

But all of this hasn't warmed me to him or his plight. And now Pang is working with him and they're still experimenting on others and the line between good and bad or right and wrong is getting increasingly blurred. Who is right in all this? What is moral or not?

ok so unless time comes back, honestly i think grace/third are the more likely ‘duo of their generation’ despite people liking to consider time/third as the duo. my opinion may change as i’m only on ep 8, but so far grace seems to be far more central to the plot in some ways as far as leadership/influence

grace/third i’d put as the youngest generations duo - or time/third/grace if time ends up doing more in the plot

pang/wave is obviously their generation’s duo - its also fascinating in this generation it didn’t turn out to be ohm/pang/namtaan, and a large reason ended up being Pang 1. tends to gravitate to clinging to one single person when things get tough, 2. felt Wave would ‘go further/be willing to do extremes’ in a way Pang felt others in the gang wouldn’t, 3. Wave was lining up to be Pang’s arch-enemy and at that point you either become best friends/boyfriends or you end up with an entire 3rd party messing things up lead by Wave independently. The logical choice for Pang was to try and win Wave over, or else he’d be both dealing with the weight of everything ‘alone’ (because he planned to act more extreme than he figured his friends would agree to) and because Wave was also going to extremes so better to have that energy on Pang’s side then independently

pom/chanon is the older generations duo - poor tragic gays had a hard time, both of them are still trying to both correct their past failures and help the younger generations in the only ways they know how

yuth/supot is the oldest generations duo - which for them, i’d cave and say they could easily function as a trio instead but Nate got taken out of commission :c so in the long term it ended up being yuth who influenced the trajectory of ‘what choices are being made’ more

Heres the anon that keeps talking abt the gifted hope ur not annoyed! I hate the fucking ministry I HATE IT, why are wave or chanon not there, can pangwave angst be resolved, i dont trust supot and holy fuck PANG in a hoodie? so cool! Chanon, wave and pang ALL wear hoodies- like father like son and son in law lmao. Also pang stole wave's hoodie like wave stole his green jacket bc it gives him comfort and u CANNOT prove me otherwise. Ik this is ALL over the place but i needed to let it out lmao

I HATE THE MINISTRY SO MUCH!!! Last week I was so confused as to why exactly the ministry hadn't treated the kids and now we know. If we assume that Supot's version of the events is what happened, which I'm inclined to do because it makes so much sense with all the other info we have so far, then they've answered my question from last week. The Ministry is choosing not to treat them, had never planned on it. Because they cannot allow an antidote to exist at all. They will rather sacrifice a bunch of innocent kids than let go of their one sure way to control the Gifted populace. Which is honestly so infuriating. Things are so much more complicated than they seemed at the beginning of the season.

I dont trust Supot either but I feel like at this moment Pang has no choice but to work with him if he wants to save the younger kids. Supot is the only one with the means to treat them that is actually willing to do so. But I'm afraid of the cost. I doubt Supot would hurt Pang, I think he sees too much of himself in Pang and that's why he's continued to let Pang pull all the stunts he does without worse repercussions. But there's no telling how he'll manipulate Pang from here on out or how this will affect Pang's place as a hero in the narrative. That whole line about becoming one of the villains by working with them long enough seems very much like foreshadowing to me. We know that's what Supot claims happened to him and it can be argued that Pom is now in the same position too, chances are Pang is about to be led down the same path as the two. Here's to hoping he doesn't succumb to the same fate as them. There's people speculating something Bad will happen to Wave to make him realise how he's messing up and while I'd rather nothing ad ever touch Wave again I feel like it's very likely. It's all about the parallels after all, Supot and Yuth, Pom and Chanon, now Pang and Wave. (Sidenote, anyone else think Yuth might actually be alive somewhere or..?)

Speaking of, I think the whole situation with Pom and Chanon also became a lot clearer now. I have been wondering since I watched season 1 what could have possibly convinced Pom that giving him up and erasing his memories was the right thing to do. Now I am inclined to believe that he did it in the sincerest hopes of protecting them both. I think Supot told him about how the Ministry used to operate and how they handle rogue Gifteds now and that is what led to Pom erasing their memories. Supot was willing to let them both walk free but the Ministry would definitely not have. I have to wonder if Chanon has had any contact with Pom or even if he's tried to figure out why he gave him up? Does Chanon know about what the Ministry does? He knew about the virus' existence but what about the rest?? There are so many unanswered questions and I am itching to figure them all out.

Moving on to happier topics, Hoodie Gang is adorable! Ik they're supposed to look rogue and mysterious but I just think they're cute xD and that whole PangWave headcanon is adorable and I wholly accept it as canon in my heart. Ugh I miss them all how tf am I supposed to wait a whole week till I can see them again T_T

1/2 helllooo its korn anon! i needed a couple days to process what i just witnessed. nothing really happened in this episode but also everything happened?? like we barely left supot's office but also i'm emotionally exhausted? chanon and pom reunion was everything (i still think pom deserved that punch in the face, not the rest tho). i don't understand chanon's motivation, and i'm not gonna let it slide, writers! i understand wanting to get back at pom, but why tf would he do it through supot???

2/3 supot is the one who caused all of his issues in the first place? maybe he has plans to take him down too?? idk but ffs dude couldn't you at least have gone halfsies so supot was also infected?? tay being the real supot was sick and lee and tay did so good in their scene. all i ask for in this goddamn show is one consistently reliable adult, i swear (i know you're a pom stan, but that man is WEAK. i was glad he finally showed some balls in this ep when it mattered most tho!).

3/3 when pom told pang that there was no point fighting and to just go w the system i... but also he proved himself a bit by the end. when supot told him that he was almost like a son to him... the manipulation... also who is that woman grace is seeing! i am so excited to finally know her potential. it also looks like we'll be seeing nate next week! i wanna see all the students work together in a fight sequence where they use their strengths to take down supot. pls! what are your thoughts?

like you said, not much happened in this episode since the majority of it took place in the same space. but at the same time, SO MUCH happened.

tay being supot caught me (and i’m assuming most people) so off guard! the entire back story on how he was in control and lee’s character (we don’t even know his name!! was he the real yuth? was he someone else?? who is he!!) only thought he was. and then that scene where we only see lee’s back and he slights his throat...i was screaming at my computer. as much as i despise that scene/supot, it was such an interesting twist, and lee and tay did such a good job (also....tay was looking very nice in this episode).

the thing about pom is that he still is very much a victim under supot, but he also holds a position of power over these kids. so we want him to stand up to supot and protect his students, but he also....can’t. not how he tried to in this episode at least. yes, it was bad ass, and i loved seeing pom stand up for himself and for pang. but it’s supot. we all know he can’t be taken down that easily. that’s why i’m really hoping he and chanon actually have a plan together and that the whole “infecting my best friend to get back at him after all these years” is just a ruse. pom is another character in this show who DESPERATELY needs therapy, because he’s been under supot’s control since HIGH SCHOOL. that’s ten years at this point. someone save this man plz.

I NEED SUPOT TO STOP GAS LIGHTING ALL OF THESE PEOPLE I STG. HE DOES IT TO PANG, HE DOES IT TO POM, HE’LL DO IT TO ANYONE. AND IT MAKES ME SO VERY ANGRY.

i’m hoping that the next episode will be a chance for the babies (yes, that’s what i refer to the younger gifted kids as) to prove themselves! especially after having their memories wiped (which i’m convinced pom only did because supot made him), they deserve to go looking for some answers. as for the women in the preview...one is obviously nate but the other...i haven’t a clue! it’s probably going to be another plot twist, and i’m so excited for it!
