Okay but like seriously. I MUCH PREFER an off screen kiss that looks realistic and like the characters have chemistry (like in the case, the kiss at the end of legend of yunqian) to on screen kisses that looks SO FORCED AND AWKWARD...I'm talking abt the tsuge and minato kiss in cherry magic. Like ik ppl were complaining that the kiss btw kurosawa and adachi at the end was a copout bc of the elevator doors but I 100 percent preferred that to the kiss btw tsuge and minato bc it looked so awkward omg... like I had to look away it was painful bc the actors looked so bored and stiff. Like again.. kiss scenes rlly dont need to be shown if they're not done right imo. Like damn... kisses dont look like that when u actually like someone jesus christ. Like again with legend of yunqian.. ik they also couldntve gotten away with an on screen kiss but if the actresses did like a rlly awkward peck that looks like they're trying so hard not to touch the other person I wouldntve wanted it. The thing with the umbrella was so much better than a forced kiss ever wouldve been. And that's my hot take of the night. Time to raid the tag and queue a bunch of stuff xoxox
