Ooh, if you want VA suggestions, I have an idea for Yuna for both ENG and JPN based on your description.

For English, maybe Abby Trott? She voices Nezuko Kamado in Demon Slayer (although she doesn't say much, mostly just hums and growls but check out the last episode of the Swordsmith Village arc to hear her voice), Momo Ayase in Dandadan, Tae Takemi in Persona 5 Royal (Royal, specifically), and Annette in Fire Emblem Three Houses. She's really good at the peppy types of characters but if you wanna hear something more sassy and aggressive while keeping that sweetness, Momo is the role to listen to.

And then for Japanese, I'd suggest Ayane Sakura. She voices Ochako Uraraka in My Hero Academia, Aira Shiratori in Dandadan, Alice Hiiragi in Persona 5 Strikers, and Yae Miko in Genshin Impact. She has a really impressive range and is honestly pretty chaotic herself. Uraraka is really good for her cutesy voice, and Aira is a character who acts like a perfect angelic girl but is actually a little bit of a bitch but also a huge nerd.

You know funny enough I was actually thinking about Abby Trott for her English VA! Annette would be the role I know her most from but also Tae and I think something else too... I think she's honestly a very decent fit. Her Momo voice in particular would be what I'm looking for, you described it pretty well actually. I guess I'm. A tiny bit hesitant because she voices Tae (its a bit silly but I try to avoid picking VAs that voice a fairly significant character in the game which would specifically be Royal in this case) but honestly? I'll add her to the list of possible ones.

Ayane Sakura is actually such a good choice? I'm not familiar with her work but I looked up a compilation of characters she's voiced and its the voice she does for Nao Tomori from Charlotte (I have never heard of that anime before lol I am basing it off of one clip) that I think would most suit. Also the fact she voiced Yae Miko is really funny to me because I never mentioned this but 2021/2022 me was obsessed with her (still love her I won't lie). So I am happy to add this to Yuna's list as well :]
