Oh, do I have some AMAZING NEWS for all of ya!

Occasionally, I've been working on brute-forcing the Chobits Accesories ISO I have available on Internet Archive. While looking into the ISO initially I saw a lot of weirdness of hidden files pre-installation. Two of these hidden files are mascot files for Freya and Kotoko. I knew it was gonna take some time to crack it.

According to my research, a lot of people missed these particular mascots as all the other mascots (Chii, Sumomo, Yuzuki, and Yumi) were available through alternative means.

Until today....

I managed to brute force Kobeya2.exe (Chii's Home) with Cheat Engine. I only used a speed hack, and unlocks are random..... so RNG was on my side.

I introduce, Kotoko and Freya Desktop Mascots.

Good things like this are absolutely meant to be shared, and this is no exception. ;)

Also, weirdly... the mascots run on Windows 10 with no issues. I'm even writing this post with the whole horde! If you decide to run these on you computer, be aware that they are 20 years old and could potentially have some sort of vulnerability. I have done a few MalwareBytes scans and it's clean.

Episódio 7: O Segredo da Victoria Todos os alunos da Escola Paradise estão proibidos de usar o AiPri pela diretora Victoria. A presidente do conselho estudantil, Sakura, vai até Victoria para tentar revogar a proibição. Victoria diz que permitirá o uso do AiPri se ela puder lhe mostrar o quão maravilhoso o AiPri é. Então, Sakura diz a Himari e Mitsuki para formarem uma dupla e apresentarem uma incrível live. Episódio 8: O Segredo da Colega de Classe Um adorável desenho da Himari e Mitsuki estava fazendo muito sucesso no SNS “AiPrigram”. Na turma, todos estão entusiasmados com o artista “Yuko Sai”, quem fez o desenho. Enquanto isso, Himari e sua colega Hanazono Yuko são escolhidas para fazer parte do comitê de jornal da classe. Himari quer se tornar amiga de Hanazono, mas ela é muito tímida e não é fácil se aproximar dela. Episódio 9: Formação! Equipe de Detetives AiPri Em seu canal, Chii procura um fantasma que, segundo rumores aparecem no mundo do AiPri, o “AiPriVerse”. Mitsuki desmaia depois de assistir à transmissão, porque ela tem muito medo de fantasmas. Himari decide ir ao AiPriVerse para capturar o fantasma. No entanto, ela acaba revelando para Mamiya Chii, uma colega de classe que passava por ali, que ela é uma AiPri. Himari também descobre que sua colega de classe na verdade é a Chii do AiPri. [FNAF fanfic] Reveal the horror - Introduction/Notes

Author notes:

+ English is not my native language. I'm writing this with my limited knowledge of English, so be prepare for lots of grammar mistakes, confusing words, duplicate words, etc.

+ I just come back to this fandom after 3 years, my memories about the lore are almost gone now. This fandom grown a lot since I joined in 2014, good memories. All of the plot in this fanfic will be my own AU, they are what I think happen throughout FNAF to Security Breach.

+ This was supposed to be a relax story, no logic in here and lots of swearing + cursing cause I want to make it like normal bestie talk in real life ^^

+ This was not an FNAF x Chii or FNAF x OCs story, maybe a little hint but overall it's platonic. Except OC x OC.

Characters introduction:

1. Yumi

Personality: Calm, afraid to communicate with strangers make her look like an cold person. A type of person that can stay strangly calm in every circumstances.

Characteristic:

+ Has high knowledge acquisition but she too lazy to use her brain to solve problems.

+ A mother figure of the team, always think carefully before making a decision.

+ Understand about every single gameplay, tip, easter egg from FNAF 1 to Sister Location really well.

Quote:

"I'm a human too. I can feel happiness, sadness, I can be hurt just like everyone else. You can tell me I'm selfish, I don't care. I'd rather things go their way than trading you guys for that fake Happy Ending."

2. Rosalia/Rosa

Personality: Friendly, sociable, like to help other people. Always cheerful and optimistic even when the situation get worse, that's why she the one lifting the spirit of other members up.

Characteristic:

+ Sensitive to others people's emotions.

+ Know part of FNAF 1 and 2, mainly play spin-off FNAF World so she's clueless about the rest.

3. Liz

Personality: Volatile, sometimes cold sometimes hot, sometimes playful sometimes serious. No one can guess what she's thinking in her head.

Characteristic:

+ Have good memory, the one sugget new options when whole team don't have any ideas.

+ Briefly understand FNAF 1, also clueless about the other except FNAF VR.

4. Kuro

Personality: Lazy, doesn't like to work but always stand up and accept the most difficult work compare to other memebers for himself.

Characteristic:

+ Good in hiding, gathering information.

+ Get a glimpse of FNAF but not really digging deeper into them.

"Choose your heart or listen to your mind, such a difficult question. But no matter what you choose, we'll always stand side by side to overcome difficulties together."

5. Keta

Personality: Dynamic, humorous, together with Rosa become a duo specializing in jokes. With a tolerant heart, he rarely get angry, usually the one who anger others instead.

Characteristic:

+ Quick reflexes, has high endurance.

+ Love horror games. The more terrifying the design get, the more he learn about them.

Quote:

"Each person have they own way of thinking and walking on their path, no one is the same. Do what your heart tell you, don't give up because of other people's thought."

6. Sigma

Personality: Mystery. In front of other members in the group, he act docile like a Husky.

Characteristic:

+ Unknow.

+ Unknow.

I found now I inform. There is an ISO out there of Clamp Windows XP accessories. I will be posting it on internet archive later today/tomorrow if it hasn't been backed up already. I found it on a particular CLAMP based Telegram.

It's kinda borked because JP support in winXP at the time (I've had this issue with vintage emulators in the past).

To be honest, it's got 3 screensavers (2 of which are not broken on windows 10, yay). There are windows mascots for Chii, Sumomo (she has her little animated tambourine dance), Yumi, and Yuzuki. Freya and Kotoko are broken at the moment. I can't tell whether they are actually broken or referencing other mascot code.

After I'm done with working, I'll finish the JP XP install (VM first and if that doesn't work, I'll do a physical install on my 2004 Dell for full nostalgia overload) and figure out what actually works and if it can be adapted to modern systems.
