Aimless wandering wasn’t how Robin had wanted to spend his first day on his island, but it was unfortunately how things had turned out anyway. He wasn’t sure if the civilians were friendly or not, but he finally got irritated enough at having to hide in the shadows that he yelled at the first person who crossed his path.

“You there! Civilian! Tell me what you know about this place!”

They’re tired. Is this what exhaustion feels like? It sucks. Oh good god, it sucks. This is why they’re currently flopped on the floor of the ground. Wherever they are. Some forest clearing somewhere.

They hear footsteps. And their hair has been stepped on. Wonderful. 

Wait. Wait they can speak now. Can they... get this person’s attention? 

“Hhyyyeeeh.” Darn it. “Yyyrrr on hair. Please... get off.” Bleh. Throat is so dry....

“Ww-wait. Do you... k-know fix... for dry throat?”

Finally she met someone she was looking for! She was on her way to meet up with Hello Happy World, but clumsy as she was, she ended up getting lost. The more happy she was to meet a familiar face finally.“Hagumi-chan! I’m so happy to see you here!” Kanon was so worried about her. About all of her friends, really, but especially about Kokoro and Hagumi, since they sometimes seemed a little helpless. Not that she was any better though. “You aren’t hurt, are you?” Before anything else, she gave her friend a gentle hug. After seperating herself from her again, she only noticed now the new features on her head and body in general. 

“Um... Hagumi-chan, are these things on your head h-horns...?! And those ears... ” She would be more shocked, but she already has seen her fair share of other people with animal like features. “A-are you a cow? B-but, it’s really cute! You look adorable!”

There’s a farm close to here, isn’t there? Yeah, he can juuuust see the little fences from his little tree perch. Somehow, he feels hungry enough to eat a literal horse. He definitely couldn’t, but these carnivorous instincts had the better of him. A lumbering tail swung under him in anticipation for a meal he couldn’t possibly ever indulge in. 

“Hungry...”

But below, there’s a fearful squeak in response. For a second he snaps out of his trance, coming to the realization that a hungry dragon is probably the last thing a cow beastkin would want to see on her afternoon stroll.

“N-not for you! I wouldn’t eat someone with a human face! At... at least I think I wouldn’t...” No, that wasn’t going to help.

Man, he was hungry. Real hungry. So hungry, he’d be willing to try eating a horse! Okay, maybe not THAT hungry, but pretty friggin’ close! Lupin trudged over to a girl, holding a big hand out, inquisitively.  “Say,”  he began, his voice a bit exasperated,  “you wouldn’t happen to have an apple or somethin’, would’ja?”

How couldn’t he not notice that one loud orange haired girl. Surely she was already known around here, because since ever the mess they’re caught in started. Kokichi wasn’t really annoyed by her positive and loud nature though. The in truth realist thinker still had the opinion that strong optimists as she seemed to be are nothing more but fools. But he couldn’t deny that their sight of the world was rather interesting and very different from his too. With a chuckle he approached the lively girl a little closer in order to talk to her. 

“Sooo, you call yourself a hero I heard? I suppose that means you’re here to save some people, or some other corny BS like that, right?” She looked a little gullible and naive. Not that there’s anything wrong with not being the brightest tool in the shed though. Maybe she’d even prove useful later, talking to her couldn’t hurt for sure.  

“Or what’s your real deal? Are you maybe actually lying and just try to reach the highest score?”

Never knew even the young teens can be a band member as long as dedication is on. Yumeko was somehow impressed indeed on her as playing instruments can be a thing too for others. She noticed the apparel with her own eyes.

“My my. A band member at a young age? Color me impressed.” Wonderingly speaking, she asked if Hagumi ever done a band gig during her career. “You do gigs and stuff with your co-members?”

“Excuse me? Do you know if this island has a school?” His dad would be upset if he went too long without being in school. It was important, after all. “Or even a library! I can’t make heads or tails of this map!”

                    “   oh really?  i’ve never met a human celebrity, only other little idols in my company or ones closeby. i heard that miku even met lady gaga a few years ago, and that must have been amazing.   ”     -----  it’s curiosity that takes over now more than anything, hands clasped under her chin as she sucks in a breath that’s halfway between a gasp of excitement and a sigh of relief. while the wonder of the island has set her bright eyes to autopilot, the piece of home, the bit of tame formality that comes with japan is rare between mythical creatures and characters who should belong in games: not in real life. 

                    “   what’s it like being an idol? i’ve never been able to talk to another one like me; they usually tell me that we don’t have enough time to, and while it’s true, it doesn’t keep me from wondering. we should find somewhere else to talk: i can’t be spilling all of your secrets.   ”

Kay’s never been good at decisions, especially when it comes to buying things. She’s on a mission to find something cute to brighten up her room, and she’s torn between two stuffed animals in a store.

Maybe it’s time for a second opinion. Kay gently taps the person closest to her on the shoulder to grab their attention.

“Excuse me! Which do you think is cuter, the pig or the rabbit?”

“Hagumi-chan! I finally found you! I mean... I didn’t really know where you were, honestly... I don’t even know where I am right now, not at all... But, I heard that you’re on this strange island too from other people! Kokoro-chan and Kaoru-san are here too, right? I’m so happy that I’m not all alone around here.” A warm smile appeared on her face, while she reached out for the other girls hands. 

“You should tell me all about what you experienced here so far. How long have you even been here? But... maybe we should go to some place nicer for that talk. How about... a cafe? I think there is one nearby.” She didn’t know anythings at all, it was more like she smelled the cakes and coffee really.
