✨NEW ANIME REVIEW✨

🐺Sirius the Jaeger🐺

I'm not even going to lie to any of you right now - I watched this because Khoi Dao is the voice of the main character, Yuliy.

I don't really have too much to say on this show thus far. Starting out the season, the show opened many questions about what are Jaegers? What does it mean by Yuliy is a Sirius? How has this group banded together? What's Willard to Yuliy? And many more questions. However, this show doesn't really answer too many of those opening questions and very quickly feels like it pushes away from what the first episode felt like it was setting up. This show moves very quickly and to an extent left me with more questions than answers. It's not the worst show I've ever seen by any means, but it was one that really left me much to desire in the way of a good show. I like most of the characters: Fallon, Yuily, Willard, Mikhail; but the plot line just didn't quite live up to any hype for me. Plus, at the end of the season - some decisions were made that I'm not sure I particularly enjoyed. The end of the season set up Season 2 in a much different way that I had hoped or predicted, and not necessarily in a good way.

The highlight of this show is Episode 7 with a scene between Yuliy and Willard. It was something that came out of left-field, but I appreciated it none-the-less. It really let me appreciate both characters and their dynamic a little bit more before the end of the season.

Personally, I hope this gets a Season 2 and that Season 2 is kinda like Noragami's Season 2; where it blows Season 1 out of the water and answers some questions that were left open at the end of Season 1.

Again, this isn't a bad anime, but it certainly isn't one of my favorites😞

Savanna: *Spins and kicks out, Yuliy blocking her with his arms and shoving her away*

Savanna: *Pulls out her daggers and slices him across the chest, following it with cutting his arm*

Savanna: *Lunges at him, aiming for his heart, her eyes narrowed*

Yuliy: *Throws his arms around her, forcing her to drop the daggers* Savanna!

Yuliy: *Falls to his knees, tightening his arms around her* Savy, come on, I've been searching for you!!!

Savanna: *Growls, trying to free her arms* Get....off...

Yuliy: *Buries his face into her shoulder, his eyes glowing* Savy....please...

Savanna: *Freezes in place then looks around, her eyes turning a pale blue* Huh?

Yuliy: *Moves back, his hands on her shoulders* Savy...?

Savanna: *Stares up at him surprised* Yuliy....?

Yuliy: *Smiles slightly, hugging her tight* Savanna...you're alright now...

Savanna: *Grips his shirt, trembling* Yuliy!!

???: *Kicks Savanna forward, sending her and Yuliy tumbling*

Yuliy: *Grabs Savanna's wrist, his eyes wide as he looked down at her* DON'T LET GO!!
