Rin Itoshi

Let's you do all the talking. Rin would stand back and let you do all the talking. Standing there in silence as he makes never-breaking eye contact with you. His strategy is less compared to the others, but works in his favor. The goal is to get you to come up to him and start conversations voluntarily.

He uses this as an advantage to be mysterious, leaving you to want more out of him. Like coming up to him to praise him about matches, volunteering to go with him to watch horror movies, and even playing soccer with him (he lets you win sometimes).

Rin is also the type of person who smiles after you two talk, which is unnerving for his teammates. Who has never seen Rin so happy, ever? Compared to his attitude towards other people it's almost like he flips his mood around you. And whenever you guys are in groups, he's the one always looking at you, it doesn't matter if you're talking or not.

He also does small things like voluntarily holding your bags or jacket, giving you a towel when you're sweaty, and always asking how you're doing.

"I'm just being nice to you. You should grateful."

Shidou Ryusei

Once he has a person he likes, he's not afraid to go up to them. Doesn't matter the setting, he'd somehow find a way and how to talk to you. Shidou would always find something to talk to you about, often leading in long conversations with you.

He would plan to get you to fall for him first. To make that happen, he would often flex to you about his achievements in soccer, and also stories of his matches. Which focuses him on being the best and having the most goals compared to his teammates.

Shidou would also try to find as much stuff you like as possible, using it to his advantage to learn about those subjects. Whether it's a movie you like or an anime- he would watch it so he could bond with you more.

If you also play soccer he would ask you if it's possible for the two of you to play together sometime. Wanting to see if you could have a chemical reaction with him.

Shidou would also pull you with him to go out on the weekends with him. He claims them as just 'hanging out'. Taking you to different clothing stores and getting boba together.

"Y/N-chan~ You promised to hang out more with me, right? We go so well together, and not just about football~"

Karasu Tabito

Plays the "soulmate" game. As soon as he notices he has a crush on you he'll try to think of a scenario as quickly as possible. Like you accidentally bumping into him, or him catching you when you fall. However this is a very hard plan, and actions like these don't come naturally. But he doesn't mind that since he likes a challenge.

Speaking of challenges, Karasu will find a way to make the scenario happen. Even if he has to be the one to cause you to fall in his arms. On the outside he often acts like it's nothing, meanwhile on the inside he is smirking at his plan coming into action.

This gentleman, can and will 'woo' you with his charms. He'd do stuff like holding the door open for you, pulling out a chair for you before you sit down, and guarding your belongings 24/7.

During PE Karasu would explain to you personally how any sport works and help you get better so you can find joy in playing. Secretly using this time to get closer to you and help form a bond.

Though he may like you, that doesn't stop from him making jokes and teasing you about anything embarrassing.

"Keep blabbin' and a ball is going to hit you in the head, stupid. Not like I wouldn't stop it from doing that though."

Otoya Eita

He'd try and effort towards you. Otoya already does not have a good reputation when it comes to dating. Often only likes women for the chase and never really enjoys a relationship once he gets with someone. It's reasonable if you're very skeptical about him and his motives.

Otoya doesn't realize how much of a bad commitment he has until you point it out to him. But even when you tell him, he'll shrug and tell you that you're being dramatic. But once he notices how sweaty his hands get, and how nervous he is- he then realizes that it's time to take things seriously.

He plans to show you how much determination he has for an actual relationship and prove to you that he can be loyal. Which doesn't work that well for him.

Otoya would come up to you after class in the halls to talk to you, as he walks with you to your next class. He would also use this time to carry anything you're holding- trying to come across as a gentleman.

If all doesn't work Otoya would have no choice but to confess to you in person.

"I swear I'm being genuine. You can fact-check me all you want."

Yukimiya Kenyu

Yukimiya's plan would be very slow and almost romantic. On the day that he notices he likes you, whether you guys are friends or not- he would start a small conversation with you. Specifically asking you questions about stuff you like.

He'd also talk to you about hanging out on the weekends or studying for a test with him at a library. Giving you a genuine smile the entire time you two are together.

During the classes you two have together he would secretly ask the teacher if he could sit by you. Saying to the teacher that he noticed that you needed more help with assignments, and wanted to help.

Yukimiya will show you through actions how much he cares about you. Make sure you know that he has only the best interest for you. Like getting a present for you on your birthday, also keeping an eye on you during p.e so you don't get hit with a ball.

Similar to Karasu he'd also be very gentlemen-like. Also holding an umbrella over you when it rains, making sure not to walk too fast when you're in heels or platforms, and always catching you if you trip or fall.

"I promise to always help you when you're in need... sounds cliche doesn't it?"

Nagi Seishiro

Nagi would somehow get Reo involved with his plan, whether that'd be Reo helping Nagi to talk to you or having Reo find out what stuff you like for him. But in general, Nagi would take the "laid back" approach to this.

He'd find it hard at first to go up and talk to you. Claiming that he's nervous and it's a hassle for him. But with Reo's encouragement, he'd successfully have small talk with you. Asking how your classes are going.

You'd have to be the one to talk to him eventually because Nagi is too lazy to get up and be the one to talk to you. After school, Nagi would ask if you could join Reo and him to walk home. Using this time to learn more about you and to grow closer.

Nagi would also invite you over to his house to play video games with him on the weekends. And would also be down to watch soccer and talk about it with you.

Eventually, at the end of the year, Nagi would come clean about his feelings. He'd have Reo tell you that he wants to talk to you alone in the hall. The exact spot where you guys first met.

"I may have used Reo for all the talking... But I like you, not Reo. Sorry If I may have disappointed you."

Like while in the match and the breaks y/n gets lots of chocholate, flowers or gifts from the male fans which causes the players to be jealous and also some of the fans go even far as kissing y/n hand like a gentleman. The players had no idea that y/n made chocholate for both of the teams. She is kinda shy and scared to give them because she thought the boys wouldn't like the taste of the chocholate, the shapes of the chocholates or the color of the packets.

"Oh, damn. There are a lot of people here today!" (Y/n) gasped in surprise as she looked at the stadium that was more packed than on the previous match. Today, the JFA had organized a special match between the U-20 and Blue lock. It was nothing serious, and more meant as an entertainment program for Valentine's Day. The board members of the JFA thought it would be a good idea to organize the event as a cash grab for the holiday,which (Y/n) had to admit was a good idea. The ratings and money from the merch shops will definitely give them extra money.

'Greedy bastards.' She thought while side-eyeing the board members while she stood next to Anri and Ego.

"(Y/n), what's with that bag you brought?" Ego questioned as the boys were warming up. (Y/n), confused for a moment, looked at the item and then blushed in embarrassment while scrambling for words.

"I... I made some chocolate for the players of both teams." She whispered to the adults, which caused Anri to squeal at the cuteness.

"That's adorable! When are you giving it to them, though?" She raised an eyebrow.

"I... I don't know. I am a little embarrassed about the possible attention I might get from them... If only I could somehow avoid it." Anri and Ego kept quiet for a moment as they thought of a way to help her. Well, it was more Anri who did the thinking while Ego was busy monitoring the interaction between Rin, Sae, and Shidou.

"Ah! I know what we can do!"

"You do?" (Y/n) raised an eyebrow as Anri happily nodded her head.

"How about you anonymously leave the chocolate in their locker rooms while they are on the field. We should go there once the game starts." Anri suggested, which made (Y/n) smile at the idea.

"Sounds great! Is that ok with you, Ego-san?"

The said man thought the whole idea was stupid, and he wanted to say so, but once he saw the two give him puppy eyes, he sighed and nodded his head.

"Fine. I will just inform the other coach that you will be going into their locker room. Don't be gone for too long." The man said as the two cheered and thanked him.

"Keep it down-"

"Uhm, is someone named (L/N) (Y/n) here?" One of the maintenence staff members asked as he approached the trio.

"Why?" Ego asked bluntly, causing (Y/n) and Anri to facepalm.

"There are some fans who want to see her." The man answered as (Y/n) raised an eyebrow.

"I am her. But, what do you mean by fans?" She asked the man, and Anri and Ego looked back with the same amount of curiosity.

After explaining it to them, (Y/n) followed the older man to the field where some people were. To be fair, they weren't om the field, but on the stands close to it.

'Good God...' The girl gulped as she saw some guys and a few girls looking back at her in excitement while holding some gifts, she assumed at least.

"Don't take too long." The man warned as (Y/n) nodded her head.

"H-hi. How can I help?" (Y/n) wondered as the group smiled, holding out some gifts to her.

"Hello! I brought you these flowers-"

"Happy Valentine's Day! Please be my-"

"You look very cute today! Hope you like this chocolate! It's handmade-"

"I found these flowers! Heard you liked them-"

"Take mine instead!"

"My chocolate is way better!"

(Y/n) watched in shock and confusion as the group showed the various gifts that were meant for her by the sounds of it.

'Why... why are they giving those to me? I am not a player.' (Y/n) thought as she slowly approached the group, not wanting to be rude or anything.

"Th-thank you. You all shouldn't have brought me anything. I am really honored." The group stopped arguing as they watched the manager bow and smile at them.

'So respectful!'

'She looks so cute!' The group thought as they started arguing who will be the first one to give her a gift.

'Ahh... I hope nobody sees this mess. I don't want the attention to be diverted from the players. It's their day.' (Y/n) thought as she went to take the items, thanking everyone individually.

Meanwhile, what (Y/n) didn't notice was the players had already noticed the ruckus that was going on, and they were less than pleased.

"Who are those losers now?" Sae raised an eyebrow, not liking what he wa seeing. The same could go for Rin, who was silently growling as he saw (Y/n) accept those gifts, even going as far as smiling at the people.

'That's my manager. Don't get so comfortable with her.' He thought as Shidou was for once not sporting his usual cocky smile.

'Now, why is she paying attention to those nobodies?'

Aiku was about to speak up, but the 4 froze up when they saw one of the guys take (Y/n)'s hand into theirs and planting a kiss on it.

"Ok, that's about it. I have had enough." Aiku cleared his throat as he walked over to where (Y/n) was, the trip following close by as the rest of thebtwo teams glared daggers at the boy.

While that was going on, (Y/n) was getting more and more uncomfortable with the attention and tried to cut this gift giving short.

'Why did they even give these to me?' She still wondered, unaware of the 4 players approaching her.

"T-thank you again for the gifts. But, I really need to go now-"

"Can't you stay a little longer?"

"Yeah, the game didn't start yet."

The group protested as (Y/n) tried to find a way out. The gifts were too much for her to hold for so long.

"I'm-" She started speaking, but got interrupted by the familiar monotone voice Sae had.

"Having fun? Good, fun is over." (Y/n), surprised by his appearance turned around to scold hin for the rude tone.

"Don't be so rude, Sae-" But, she pretty much cut herself off when she saw the murderous looks Rin, Sae, Shidou, and Oliver were giving the group.

'What's up with them?!'

The game had eventually started after a good 30 minutes and Anri meanwhile dragged (Y/n) away to put the chocolates into the locker rooms. The chocolates were pretty simple. Milk chocolate with a few decorations, all wrapped up in colors that reminded her of the boys. It was pretty cliché in her opinion, but she hoped they would like them and not suspect her as the culprit.

'I really tried to make them look as different as possible.' (Y/n) thought as she put the last one into Neru's jacket pocket, blushing at the thought of them discovering her.

'That would be something I could never live down.'

The game had ended with the Blue Lock team winning after the time got extended to a whole 105 minutes, (Y/n), Anri, and Ego could see the team was exhausted, so they told them to take their time in changing and showering. Meanwhile, the trio would take care of the press or the gifts the Blue Lock team was receiving, which was something (Y/n) ended up taking care of.

'All these gifts look so much better than mine...' She thought, trying not to look sad as she wrote down what was for who. She didn't need fans going after her or spreading rumors.

'Well, at least I hope they taste good.' (Y/n) thought nervously as she took another gift, wondering if they found the chocolates by now.

"Hm? There is something in our pockets?" Otoya wondered as Anri giggled while closing the door.

"Yep! (Y/n) made some Valentine's chocolate for you guys! Don't say I told you, tho!" With that, the woman left the teens in a shocked state. That soon disappeared as they quickly looked through their pockets, and sure enough, the chocolates were there. All neatly wrapped.

"Woo-hoo! This is like the first time I got one! She even wrapped it in my favorite color!" Bachira cheered as he looked at the yellow wrapped item. Otoya quickly unwrapped his and took a bite.

"It's so good!" He cheered.

'Ahh! I can die now happily! Wait, is this (Y/n)'s way of confessing?!' Otoya thought as Karasu and Kurona took a bite from their's as well.

"It tastes the right amount of sweet. The decorations look adorable as well." Karasu chuckled while blushing.

"Just like her..." Kurona silently said as he continued eating his, trying to savor the taste as long as possible. Isagi, who took the time to read the message she wrote on the chocolate blushed and smiled.

'You did an amazing job!' He read, feeling his heart beat quicken when he saw the heart at the end.

"She is the best. This tastes amazing." He mumbled, earning nods from Niko and Hiori, who were sitting next to him.

"It does! It does! The packaging are adorable, too. She really put a lot of thought into them." Hiori said in adoration.

"You think she will bake for us one day?" Niko wondered with a red face as he read the message over and over.

"I mean, we could always ask her. (Y/n) is nice, I am sure she would." Reo announced, earning nods from the rest.

"I hope it will be a chocolate cake. Didn't have those in a while. She really made my day with this." Gagamaru smiled warmly, not used to getting chocolate on Valentine's Day from anyone. Nagi kept quiet as his face was a uncharacteristic red shade. The whole time he was staring at the wrapping paper while taking small bites of the chocolate.

'I am keeping this one forever.'

Barou was a blushing mess along with Tokimitsu, so they decided not to say anything as they ate their chocolates. Both were flattered and happy over this surprise. It was better than winning the match in their opinion.

"It has a really good taste to it. Not too sweet and not too bitter. She really thought of everything. So cute." Yukimiya smiled brightly, earning a nod from Aryu.

"Well, it is (Y/n) we are talking about. She is amazing and thoughtful." The brown-haired boy added in. Rin was looking for once relaxed and felt happy as he ate his piece, enjoying every moment of it.

'So good. Definitely better than winning against my brother. I love her so much.' Rin thought, his face turning redder. There was a silence in the room for a while, the team busy eating and thanking (Y/n) mentally for the gift. But, that silence was soon cut off by Chigiri.

"Now, we need to think of some good presents for White Day. Some that will make her forget about the gifts those people gave her today."

The rest of the team quickly nodded their heads.

"What is it, Shidou?" Teru asked, noticing the boy's frozen state.

"I got chocolate." The boy answered in confusion as he showed Teru the item, causing the rest of the locker room to look at him.

"You?! Why did you get chocolate?" Sendou yelled out, jealous at the blonde, which earned him a grin from Shidou.

"Probably because the ladies like me more."

"Hm? I got some as well." Sae pointed out as he showed the the team his burgundy wrapped item.

"Ha? And you two didn't put it in there yourselves?" Niou asked skeptically.

"Why would I do such a pathetic thing?" Sae questioned.

"You guys mad that you didn't get any?" Shidou snickered, earning glared from Sendou and Niou now.

"Hey! I got some as well! This is rare for me!" Neru said in excitement as he found a beige wrapped item in his pocket. Now this was a surprise for the rest.

"You as well?" Itsuki and Miroku mumbled as they discretely went through their pockets, only to find chocolate int them as well.

"Hey! I got some as well!"

"Me too!"

"This is weird..." Hayate said silently, blushing as he stared at his present as well.

"Woo-hoo! Hey! I got chocolate as well!!" Sendou blushed in excitement as he took put the present from his jacket pocket. Oliver, who also found a green and purple wrapped present, stared at it in confusion as Teru started eating his chocolate.

"It tastes good as well! It also has some cute decorations on it."

"Mhm!" Niou nodded as he ate his along with Hayate and Neru.

"But still, who put it into our pockets?" Sae asked out loud, earning silence instead of an answer.

"It certainly is weird. We didn't notice anyone near our stuff." Miroku chimed in as their coach walked into the room.

"Ah, I see you found those chocolates. Eat up and let's go." The team stared at the man in horror for a moment as Oliver spoke up.

"Please don't tell me you put these into our locker room."

"Yuck!" Shidou shivered at the idea, earning a glare from the coach.

"No, I have better things to do then make Valentine's Day chocolate." The man rolled his eyes.

"Blue Lock's manager made those for you, as surprise or something. She put those here while you guys were playing. Now, stop acting like school boys and pack your stuff." The man ordered as he walked out of the room, leaving the team in a stunned silence.

'The... The manager...made these for us?!' The team thought as they slowly started blushing at the thought.

"Aahhh~" they sighed happily as Sendou spoke up.

"Lucky bastards at Blue Lock probably get this treatment all the time." He said, sounding jealous as the rest tried to ignore that thought, opting to just enjoy the sweet gifts.

"Achoo!" (Y/n) sneezed as Ego looked at her in confusion.

"You ok?"

"Yeah. I think I am just getting sick." She said back, oblivious to what had happened in the locker rooms.

To her surprise, he nods, offering his hand, which she gladly takes, and then they both walk together, side by side, and hand in hand, catching up on the new events of their life.

⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡ bachira - i think we all know that bachira grew up pretty much alone. with such a lack of friends, the moment someone shows interest in him, he’ll latch onto them. it’s to the point where it gets unhealthy, as he’ll get into a nearly depressed state if someone he latches onto finds someone else, like his reaction when isagi and rin were ignoring him during the second selection. because of this, he’ll realize pretty damn quickly that if he wants someone else to be loyal to him, he’ll have to be just as devoted.

⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡ nagi - similar to bachira, he grew up with basically no friends until he met reo. although nagi doesn’t seem to care nearly as much, ever since meeting reo, he is much more attached. nagi is self aware that he’s not the most pleasant of the bunch, so similar to how he is with reo, if he meets someone who genuinely cares, he will latch onto them. sure, there will be times where he will leave for a little while; but in the end, he will always come crawling back to his lover because he knows that no one else would want him.

⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡ hiori - hiori is a weird one. a lot of people definitely have a crush on hiori; however, due to his childhood and the way that his parents treated him like more of a tool, hiori definitely just wants love—similar to kaiser. however, the biggest difference is that when hiori finds someone who loves him, he doesn’t realize that other people love him too. it very much matches the saying “love is blind” if you don’t understand what im saying. hiori is obsessed with the idea of being loved that he’ll do anything to help and stay loyal.

Summary: The second selection is about to start after days of rigorous training, you end up meeting new faces, confronting some; but who will you team up with?

You are chilling in the dorm room the next day, giving yourselves a free day to rest after such an intense match from yesterday so you could recover properly. You were coming back from the bathroom when you heard Raichi scream, not something unusual, but something that still made you rush towards it.

"HUH" he says as you enter "WE'RE NOT STARTING THE SECOND SELECTION ROUND RIGHT AWAY?!"

"Keep it down, there's a waiting period before the second round begins" Ego says, you sit next to Chigiri

"What did I miss?" You ask him

"Not much, just Ego saying that there's some time in between and Raichi freaking out"

"Got it"

"You'll be doing some rigorous strength training, however, you're not allowed to touch a ball. Anyone who breaks this rule or refuses to participate will be expelled" Ego keeps explaining

You start zoning out as Ego keeps talking, just thinking how exhausting this whole new regimen would be. You managed to pass, but it was barely over, so everyone needed to be stronger than you already are.

And just like that the next day started your training from hell:

9:00: 2 HOUR ENDURANCE RUN X 2 SETS

14:00: EXTREME CORE TRAINING 1 HOUR X 2 SETS

16:00: WEIGHT TRAINING

18:00: SPRINTING 100 ROUNDS

20:00: MEALTIME

You barely are able to breathe at the end of day one, laying on the grass alongside Chigiri after just finishing your sprinting rounds.

"This can't be legal" you say in between short breaths

"I'm wondering the same" Chigiri says chuckling "Do they want to kill us?"

"Couldn't he build this up? Like, did he rea-" you try to add, getting cut up by the speaker

«Player Yn, please come to get a health check up»

"Eh?" You sit up

"I guess they want to make sure you're doing ok, after all you passed out on a match"

"True"

"Go, save yourself from this misery" Chigiri helps you stand up.

You starts walking towards the where the medical check is, undoing your binder in the way assuming the medics already knew about you. You sat down on the couch while waiting for them when the door opened, revealing Ego and Anri there.

"This ain't a health check up, isn't it?" You sigh

"Nope" Ego brings a chair to sit in front of you "I need to discuss something with you"

"I tried to stop him Yn-chan, but this time it seems a reasonable thing to talk about" adds Anri, looking at you worried

"It's alright, Anri-san, go ahead"

"Well, I'll put it simply" Ego starts "To be honest, I wasn't expecting you to pass the first selection. I did want Team Z to grow, but considering who their opponents were, I had little hope. You, however, became the top scorer with no yellow or red cards, meaning that even if your team lost, you would pass"

"Okay…"

"I initially just wanted you to join for the first selection only, you already accomplished your job and helped them bloom, but I can't eliminate you now. You became friends with your team, so the excuse of you dropping out or having health problems wouldn't work on them now. My only option is for you to continue"

"I don't get it, it's that good?" You ask

"I can't eliminate you without raising suspicions, so I just wanted to remind you that you can't become the world's best striker, as long as you remember that we'll be fine"

"I know, you don't have to worry"

"You may leave then" Ego says, making you stand up towards the door while thinking, you need to find a way to drop out without making it look weird, but how? Do you actually want to leave just yet? Sure, this was a lot to deal with, the training, the whole binder thing, but at the same time, it was one of the first times you have had so much fun. Well, for now you just have to survive this hell of a training, then you'd think of that.

And you survive one, two, three…you survive the whole 10 days of that, barely, but you do.

On the eleventh day, a loud alarm starts sounding at 6:30 am

«DING DONG DING DOOONG» You barely are able to open your eyes, hearing a bunch of groans around you as everyone starts waking up. You notice a red hair weirdly close to your face, soon realizing that you and Chigiri were laying close to each other; however, it doesn't worry you much, after all the whole team barely manages to get into bed after training

«AT THIS TIME BLUE LOCK'S FIRST SELECTION ROUND HAS BEEN COMPLETED FOR ALL WINGS. ALL PLAYERS WHO HAVE CLEARED THE FIRST ROUND, PLEASE PUT ON YOUR TRAINING SUITS»

Since everyone was so tired to properly think, a combination of how early it was plus the pure exhaustion in your bodies, that you all change your clothes in automatic mode, quickly going down stairs as the loud ones hype everyone up.

"You look awful" Chigiri says to you once you start to pass the second selection sign

"So do you" you retort "nervous?"

"Kinda, but I'm mostly excited"

The moment you enter the area you see a bunch of other players entering too, players that you haven't seen before and yet they were wearing armbands with Team W, X and Y on their arms. You can see Barou, Niko, Nagi and Reo close to you, meaning that the 25 players of Wing 5 were here…then who were the other ones and why do they have those letters on them?

"Hi there, you lumps of talent" Ego appears on the giant TV "Good job on your physical training"

"Your kidding" you mumble to yourself once it clicked, both Chigiri and Kunigami look at you waiting for you to continue "everyone here thought that they were at the bottom of the ranks, every wing was Wing 5 with teams from V to Z"

"That's messed up" Kunigami says

"It is" you move behind Chigiri, plopping your head into his back without processing your movements much "let me know if he says something important"

As Ego explains this to the rest of the players a bunch of complaints start to arise, which sends Ego into a long rant about how all professional players had lived through the worst and soccer became their only way to survive.

"Now, let's start with the second selection round" Ego says "in our brand new training fields, you'll be fighting to turn your 1 into a 100. The second selection round has five stages, only the ones who clear a particular stage are able to level up and advance to the next one. Clearing the challenge in the first stage is your next objective, and those who are able to clear all five stages in the second selection will participate in a special training camp with top players from around the world who I’ve selected"

Everyone seems amazed by this revelation, and you can't help but wonder what is he talking about, he never told you something about these top players that were going to challenge you, but then again, you weren't supposed to get this far in the first place

"Once you've prepared yourself, enter the gate one at a time. The first stage is an individual battle, once you go in, you can't go back. This second selection will sort out the garbage, only the true egoists will remain. Good Luck"

With that, the TV turns off, an unsettling feeling fills the room, everyone chatter about what's happening and what will happen after.

"It's that…all?" Chigiri asks

"Well, what more do you want?" You ask starting to stretch to do the challenge as soon as possible "it's simple, you enter, pass and we see each other again"

"Only you would be so calm about this" he pats your head "but yeah, when you put it like that it doesn't sound so bad"

"It really doesn't sound bad" Kunigami adds, much more relaxed "Look, it seems like he's going"

You turn around and see a dude, quite emo looking to be honest, taking two balls out of the basket, kicking one in a high trajectory and the other with a low trajectory, both balls hitting each other in the middle. He then enters the door without even looking back at anyone. Itoshi Rin can be read on the screen.

"That was cool" you whisper, you feel a slight tension build up after that, so you just keep stretching while looking around to see potential players. A dude with redish color hair and a single braid, a cyan hair that looks similar to your height and a dude with curly black hair and glasses caught your eyes. Suddenly, you feel a hand grab your arm, pulling you into an almost closed circle.

"Don't forget about us so quickly" Chigiri laughs as he ruffles your hair, his arm passing through your shoulders "you were the more badass of all"

"You have to say it though, it doesn't count if an egoist doesn't say it" Kunigami smirks

"But i already know my goals were amazing" you say, making the two laugh

"Talking like a true egoist" says Iemon "LET'S ALL MEET IN THE NEXT ROUND!!"

"YEAH!!"

"Saying that…" you start, making all eyes turn to you "I'll go first, see you!"

"EH?! HOW DARE YOU? WAIT! YN, YOU IDIOT!" you hear Raichi scream as you quickly go into the gate. You turn around quickly, seeing Bachira laughing alongside Isagi while waving their hands at you, Chigiri just shaking his head with a smirk and Kunigami laughing while stopping Raichi's whines.

Walking through the hallways you couldn't help but to feel excited, it was finally time to let your abilities shine by yourself without having to care about the others.

You enter the first stage, a big, white room with barely anything on it. Suddenly you hear a loud noise from behind, a cannon-looking thing appearing on the wall and shooting a ball at you. You trap it easily, a blue hologram appearing as soon as you do that. In the walls behind him appear a goal zone, a sign with a clock of 90 minutes, and a light shines on you, a light that slowly starts getting smaller the more seconds pass. The only conclusion that you arrived at was that you had to score a goal past the goalie and before the light became too small, so you just lifted the ball a little to pretend to hit it high before actually sending it low.

You mark a goal easily and soon after the ball comes from the other side of the room; you keep shooting and scoring, the game getting harder each goal you make. You end up doing it almost flawlessly, missing only a few shots in the beginning of each level, leaving the first stage with 25 minutes to spare.

You were the second one to enter the second stage, only Itoshi Rin was already there. He barely raised his head once he saw you enter, a slight confusion appearing at the number in your arm and how short you took to complete the first stage.

"Hey" he says, almost with disdain as he examines you "you were fast, join me"

"..." You look at him with the same look he was giving you "why would i do that?"

"Eh? I just need two more, it doesn't really matter who those are"

"Oh really?"

"Yeah, to me you are just a stepping stone to become the best in the world"

"Well, I'm nobody's 'stepping stone', so kindly fuck off" you say with a sarcastic smile, receiving an annoyed sound from the boy.

You sit there in silence for a good 10 minutes before the next player arrives.

The next one is the boy with curly hair and glasses that you saw right before the first stage; he, when seeing Rin looking at him with a sour expression, decided to come to sit near you, arriving with a polite smile.

"Hi" he says as he sits down "have we played with each other?"

"Hey, no we haven't, I'm Yn"

"Nice to meet you, Yukimiya Kenyu" he presents himself "how long ago did you finish?"

"About ten minutes ago, I've been here with that ass alone for way too long" you say, making the boy chuckle

"That was fast, you must be good then"

"I guess" in that moment the door opened again, revealing a familiar white hair who almost immediately comes to your side and plops down

"What a pain" is the first thing Nagi says "so now we have to make teams of 3?"
