Your favourite way to wake up in the morning was when the first thing you felt was Yuki’s comfortable weight on top of yours. You’d never told him just how much you liked it, and half the time he wasn’t even aware that he always shifted in his sleep until several of his ligaments were splayed across your body. This morning it was his legs trapping yours and his head which had found its way to your chest instead of the pillow. 

You stifled a laugh at the ridiculous position he was in and glanced at your phone for the time. Already 8AM. You needed to get up, but you weren’t ready to disturb your husband from his beauty sleep. Especially with how much he deserved it. After a long and tiring race weekend, Monday was the day he could sleep in a bit. Plus, he had flown in late last night and the jetlag never helped either. 

You started by gently pushing his head aside, making sure that it landed on soft pillows. Getting your legs free was a little more difficult, as they were completely tangled with his. You managed with as little disturbance to his sleep as possible. With a satisfying stretch and a quick kiss pressed to his forehead because you couldn’t quite resist how cute he looked, you made your way to the bathroom.

Before Yuki even opened his eyes, he was already frowning. He could tell you had left the bed and gotten up without him. And he didn’t like that. Especially on his day off. And as soon as he opened his eyes, he was met with something equally as unpleasant as you not being in his arms at the current moment. 

“God, close the curtains—- I think I’m being blinded,” he whined, voice hoarse and tired as he shoved his face into the pillow to avoid the bright stream of sunlight that was directly hitting him. The sound of harmonious giggles filled his ears and made his heart tug in his chest just slightly. Maybe you had been married for over two years now and the so-called honeymoon phase should’ve been long over by now, but that didn’t change how much Yuki loved the sound of your laughter. Sometimes it made his heart flutter just the same way it did when he first met you. He felt the brightness fade from the room and he squinted his eyes open again, gaze finding yours sleepily. He pouted.

“That was the worst way to wake up.”

“Why? Cause you almost lost your vision to the power of the sun? You vampire,” you quipped endearingly at him, taking a sip of your coffee. A smile started to play on his lips. 

“No. You weren’t in bed with me. I think that should be illegal any day I’m actually home,” Yuki defended stubbornly, all with a lovesick smile on his sleepy face. You set your coffee cup down as he reached for your wrist, finding a way to gently tug your body down on top of his. You landed a bit messily on top of the soft duvet, but with Yuki’s hands to steady you, you were in no danger of losing your balance. 

“Well, I’m in bed with you now, aren’t I?” you noted. You stared at the ceiling as your husband wrapped his entire body around yours, legs entangling with your own just as they had during the night. Maybe it wasn’t so surprising that he did it in his sleep given how often he did it while conscious too. You were convinced you had married a koala bear with separation anxiety. 

“And you’ll stay here until I decide it’s time for both of us to get up,” Yuki said proudly. 

“As you wish, Mr. Bossy.” 

You ran your fingers through his hair, adjusting the different sections that stood up on their own thanks to the awkward way he had slept. He closed his eyes again, basking in the scent of your shampoo and how warm your body felt against his. 

“Don’t fall asleep again,” you warned, noticing how he was teetering on the edge of dreams again. He shook his head, muttering that he wouldn’t, and held you a bit tighter. 

Whether it be two years of marriage or twenty, you doubt that Yuki would ever get less clingy. But you hope he doesn’t, because there’s no feeling more comforting than his body weight on yours and his soft breathing matching with the rhythm of your heartbeat.

Yuki Tsunoda x Reader

Summary: Yuki’s daring on-track moves nearly cost him everything.

The adrenaline hadn’t left his body yet.

The echoes of the race still rang in his ears, the screech of tyres, the roar of the crowd, the sharp, breathless moments where everything blurred at 300 km/h.

But none of that compared to the storm raging in your eyes.

You were waiting for him outside the AlphaTauri garage, arms crossed, expression unreadable.

Yuki slowed his pace as he approached, his heart already beating faster than it had on track.

He had seen that look before.

This wasn’t just a concern.

This was fear, barely masked by anger.

“Y/N-”

“What the hell was that?” you cut in, voice sharp. “Do you have any idea how dangerous that was?”

Yuki sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “I was just racing.”

“That wasn’t racing, Yuki! That was reckless! You almost crashed-twice! If that Red Bull hadn’t moved, you could have been-” You sucked in a shaky breath, unable to finish the sentence.

Yuki shifted his weight, frustration flickering across his face. “I know what I’m doing.”

“Do you?” Your voice wavered, but your gaze held steady. “Because from where I was watching, it looked like you didn’t care what happened to you out there.”

Something inside him snapped. “Of course I care!” His voice rose, startling you both. He took a deep breath, hands balling into fists at his sides. “I just-” He exhaled sharply, looking away.

“You just what?” you pressed, stepping closer.

Silence stretched between you.

The mechanics bustled around the garage, the world moving on as if nothing had happened, but here, between the two of you, everything was unravelling.

Finally, Yuki’s shoulders sagged, and his voice came softer this time. “I drive like this because I want to make you proud.”

Your breath hitched. “Yuki…”

“I see the way people talk about me,” he muttered. “I know they think I’m not good enough, that I take too many risks. But I don’t care about them, I care about you. I push harder because I want to prove that I can be great. For you.”

Your chest ached. You had never doubted him—not his skill, not his passion. But it shattered you to realize he had been carrying this weight alone.

Gently, you reached for his hand, threading your fingers through his. “You don’t have to prove anything to me,” you whispered. “I don’t need podiums or crazy overtakes to be proud of you. I need you. Safe.”

His eyes searched yours, something fragile in them now.

“Please,” you added, squeezing his hand. “Promise me you won’t push yourself to the point of losing control.”

Yuki let out a slow breath before pulling you into his arms, holding you like he never wanted to let go. His face buried into the crook of your neck, and you felt his words more than you heard them.

“Okay,” he murmured. “I promise.”

And in that moment, nothing else mattered.

No race, no expectations, just the quiet, steady rhythm of his heart against yours, and the unspoken truth between you: he didn’t need to prove anything, because he was already everything to you.

in which you're like a gentle breeze in spring, always there but too hard to get, though the young Japanese tries his best to ask you out till you take matters in your own hands.

sitting down besides you at lunch break while his trainer michael sat two tables in front of him with a bright smile and a quick thumbs up, yuki took a deep breather before his face morphed into a happy expression.

you hadn't acknowledged him yet, deeply concentrated on reading whatever you had open on your work phone — he knew the difference between your private and the one alphatauri gave the staff.

he waited a few seconds, hoping you'd notice him but you only scrunched your eyebrows in confusing, tipping a reply to whoever wrote something to you; you were with the team for over two years now, starting off as the engineer of pierre, then nyck, daniel and now liam. everyone knew of your shyness though that didn't stop you from forming a bond with your drivers — yuki knew that you were still in contact with pierre every now and then, and you once shared a while ago that you were going to join nyck on a trip in the alps on winter break.

as the racing driver's hazy gaze lost its focus on the task at hand —asking you out—, to shift his eyes onto your beautiful hair, you finally finished up a mail, sending it out, and grab a fork to dig into the broccoli on your plate. then you dragged your eyes upwards to the cute man sitting to your right.

a soft smile etched on your lips as you chewed on the greens. he too smiled at you, swallowing the food he had eaten.

"hey y/n", he greeted you excitedly, big brown eyes interlocking with yours. you blushed, replying with a greeting and then returned to lunch.

that action didn't stop him from asking you through. "there's a flowershop around the corner on the way to our hotel. want to go later?"

you let out a small huff. "i'm busy with liam's car, won't make it back in time, yuki," you shared, "you could ask maria, she'd love to i bet."

his smile flattened and he slowly pushed himself up, putting away the dishes and made his way to the door of the cafeteria where his performance trainer michael already stood waiting. michael immediately took notice of his friend's dampened mood as they walked the staircase down to a media shoot with alphatauri's very own kiwi.

"I guess it didn't go as planned?", the trainer asked, concern written on his face. he got a shake of the head from the Japanese.

"said she's busy with liam's car", he groaned lightly before he changed his tone,"who the fuck is maria?"

whilst the grid's driver 22 ranted about his crush, you continued to sit alone at the round table, eating your lunch and tipping away on your phone till another presence took yuki's place.

liam lawson grinned at you brightly, just seen the interaction between yourself and his teammate — he like anyone else knew of yuki's everlasting ogling eyes at you but he also could proudly say that he was one of the few people who knew of your crush on the Japanese too; you were quite shy and obvious to the male's intention it seems, reasons why you kept your distance.

"mate, he's whipped", the kiwi giggled, causing a strand of blonde hair to fall against his face. gently you brushed it away, shaking your head. "You're delusional, liam", you moaned, taking your hand back to rest it on the table next to your now empty plate.

"i'm not delusional, you're just stupid, y/n. honestly you could murder someone and he'd throw heart eyes your way. he's that crazy for you", he sassed back, ignoring your rolling eyes as you got up.

"see you later, alligator", you mumbled under your breath.

"in a while crocodile", liam exclaimed.

"she likes him", liam said as he stood next to his former f2 teammate oscar piastri and alfa romeo's guanyu. "I don't understand how she's that obvious, the man's trying at any given opportunity."

"if she likes him, why doesn't she agree to go out with him?", guanyu asked, relative new to the crush-mess-situation at alphatauri. a frown was written all over his delicate features.

oscar shrugged his shoulders; he heard some gossip about the woman but didn't know if they were true.

"eh . . . its complicated I guess. I only know that her ex did some pretty shit things to hear and that's how she turned out the way she is now; shy and seemingly uninterested", the blonde man explained.

"but yuki isn't bad by any means", guanyu said in wonder, "he curses a lot but that's the only slightly negative thing about him."

oscar shook is head. "I don't think she'd mind his cursing — nyck did say she was pretty creative forming new insults."

as the three of them chatted about the pair, alex albon silently joined them while he fired away a lovely dovey message to his long-term girlfriend lily. his interest peaked up at the mention of y/n's name. "aren't they an item yet? just saw her running up to Michael and yuki, giving the later a piece of paper. my boy couldn't help himself but blush as red as tomato as she grabbed his hand."

"what do you mean?", liam's eyes grew bigger, "my girl got some balls? Unbelievable. "

"yeah unbelievable she didn't tell you", oscar sarcasticly grumbled under his breath. "Mate it happened probably five minutes ago."

Alex giggled at the aussi's comment, nodding in affirmation as the other men looked at him. then his gaze focused on the woman in question, you. "oi y/n", he started to wave, screaming your name once again to catch your attention, "we're here, left . . . the other left, ah yes."

Y/n POV:

You would never get used to the fact your boyfriend was literally perfection. From his beautiful eyes to the way his Japanese would make you weak, just everything about him made you want to always kiss him, never letting him go. That was, of course, not always possible since you wouldn’t fit into the cockpit with him, you did on the other hand fit perfectly on his cock though. 

He would push you onto him, making you ride him until you were out of energy, just needing you as close as possible for as long as he could. He needed you so much, it might sound unhealthy to others, but for you two it just worked. 

Pierre made it his mission the entire flight to call you two out as you argued over what you would wear to the paddock. While Yuki liked showing you off to others, he hated it when people saw how hot you looked, so he would always stand in front of you protectively. The funniest thing in that aspect is that Yuki could barely cover your breasts with his head since the height difference was just a bit too much than usual. 

Luckily, all four of you landed a few days prior to the race in Miami, which gave you time to recover from the adaption to new time zones. The first two days were always the hardest for you. As soon as you entered the hotel room with Yuki, he just made you lay in bed, not caring about your baggage at this given moment. He just needed to hold you, making sure you were right by his side.

So, this is what you did the following days, just laying in bed, taking walks together by holding hands, always stopping to kiss while you were photographed for most parts of it. So, when you wake up in the early morning of Friday, you know the hard part is coming up. Being a good WAG, looking the prettiest you can, supporting your boyfriend, possibly fighting the team principle again. 

You always hated getting a cab to the racetrack, so you made Yuki drive like a maniac through Miami’s streets and while most would be terrified of his aggressive driving style, you just loved those wild car rides with your boyfriend. Sharing sweet and small kisses whenever you encountered red traffic lights. Nevertheless, one of his hands always to touch your thighs, squeezing you softly to reassure himself that you were there. 

“Babe, why can’t I just quitttt? I want to lay in bed with you all day and just cuddle, making you feel good and have breakfast, lunch, and dinner on our bed” Yuki pouted as he was parking the car directly at the entrance of the paddock. “Well, one of us needs to drive fast cars and it won’t be me because my neck game is by far not as strong as yours” You smirk at Yuki as he almost jumps at you kissing him.

Soon you had to leave the car, journalists tried crowding you as you met up with Michael, his personal trainer. You always felt like a queen going through the paddock, Yuki loved seeing you in heels, making your height even more prominent than it already was. It was one thing that Yuki has always loved about you, your height.

As soon as you got into the motorhome, Yuki basically dragged you along to his driver’s room, claiming to have some privacy with you. Not like you didn’t do that already for the past days, but who would complain to being alone with a Yuki Tsunoda in a small room? Definitely not you, the one who was actively dating the hottest driver on the grid.

As you sat down on the small couch, Yuki made a call to get some food. “Yukinoooo, I am hungryyy and I want cuddles too” You looked at him with the biggest puppy eyes, knowing it works like a charm in your favor every time. “Shhh, I am trying to get us food asap but you need to be a bit patient” And that is the moment where Yuki spoke to someone in Italian for some reason while sitting down on your lap, legs on either side of you while smirking, knowing it always turns you on when he speaks different languages. Before we get started, let me tell you a bit about City of Stars: ⋆ I've been working on this project in the shadows since March-April 2024, and after thinking about whether making this universe a reality once for all, I finally decided to move forward. I'm starting a new era in my life, and I think I needed a huge change when it comes to my writing as well, so I hope you like it as much as I do! ⋆ City of Stars is an Alternative Universe starring the following Formula 1 drivers: Max Verstappen, Lando Norris, Mick Schumacher, Daniel Ricciardo, Oscar Piastri, Sebastian Vettel, Carlos Sainz, Charles Leclerc, Alex Albon, Yuki Tsunoda, Esteban Ocon, George Russell, Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso (with the possibility of more of them joining). ⋆ Fanfiction announcements, including plots, drivers and titles will be made on May 14th, 2025, and they'll start being released on July 31st, 2025, the day of my 23rd birthday. Heavy hands lay secure on your hips as you sat perched on his lap. Dark eyes stared into yours, both of them encapsulated in unrestrained lust. Yuki squeezed your hips as he brought you in for another kiss.

If only Franz Tost could see you now, huh. He’d been hesitant about hiring a girl to fill Gasly’s seat after he left because he was worried that her and Yuki wouldn’t get along. Boy was he wrong.

Yuki groaned into your mouth as you lowered yourself down till you were aligned. A quick nudge of your hips caused you both to moan, as the tension from the day released out of the both of you.

It was tough race, you barely making it into the points and Yuki a bit below you. The car was shit, but that was to be expected. You’d both spent countless hours in the sims, trying to somehow uncover a way to make the car work better but it was a lost cause.

After one long day that you’d both spent in the sims, you’d arrived at your hotel rooms that were side-by-side at the same time and the rest was history. You wouldn’t say you used each other, there was definitely some level of emotion involved (if the way you spent more time together than anyone else and the numerous times you’ve contemplated moving in together count) but it was definitely a more effective stress relief than collapsing in the gym.

His hips shifted upwards, causing a tingling sensation to spread through your lower half, a sensation that was increased the longer he continued doing that. You brought your arms around Yukis neck, bringing him in for a kiss as you adjusted your hips to match his speed.

He leaned his head back as he closed his eyes and you smiled, quickly leaning in to begin kissing his neck.

“Honey…” He sighed, as you continued moving your hips, his excitement very obvious even through the jeans he was wearing.

“Feels good right?” You murmured on his neck as you began sucking, trying your very best not to leave a mark. That may have been a lie. A deep mark started to form on his skin and you smiled as he continued sighing his pleasure.

“I may have left a mark.” He groaned, this time in mock annoyance, and a giddy smile overtook your lips this time as he brought his head down to look at you, his own smile making your glow brighter.

“It’s hard to be mad at you.” He whispered against your lips and you responded with a quick kiss on his lips, continuing your eye contact, as you didn’t trust yourself to respond appropriately with words.

He gently bucked his hips in response to your kiss and you gasped as a jolt of pleasure ran up your spine. He smirked against your lips and he leaned forward to grab the back of your thighs.

A loud banging on your door startled you both out of your daze, a yelp leaving your lips as Yuki nearly dropped you. You both, almost comically, turned to face the door as the banging continued and the person behind it started to shout.

“Hello? We’re here to film that room tour?” Shit, you’d totally forgotten about that. The team had organized for a film crew to come over and do a nice tour of the hotel room you were staying in. Wasn’t that tomorrow? You cleared your throat before yelling out.

“Yep just give me a minute! I’m finishing a round of Mario Kart!” You quickly hurried to jump off Yuki and started running around the room, turning on your switch and throwing a controller at Yuki.

“Just go with it!” You pleaded and he nodded, a firm nod with a small smile on his lips. God his lips are gorgeous aren’t they? Fuck, not right now!

You sprinted to the bathroom and tried to smooth your hair to look normal and splashed your face with water, hoping it would cool you down.

You ran back to the main area of the room, threw on your Alpha Tauri shirt and turned around to find Yuki booting up Mario Kart on your room's TV.

You sighed, physically feeling your shoulders and tension deflate, before leaning in for one last kiss.

“You look beautiful.” He said as you pulled away and you slapped his shoulder, duly noting the blanket he had thrown over his lap as he sat on the edge of your bed.

“I’m supposed to be turned off right now, not turned on.” You said bashfully and he grinned before you turned back the door and opened it.

You came face to face with a man holding a camera and a man holding a microphone. Your eyes widened.

“Hi there! Should we get straight to it?” The man holding the mic asked and you nodded before turning to the camera and introducing yourself.

“This is the uhh standard room. I’m pretty sure all staff got it, it’s pretty good.” You said as you opened the door.

Yuki waved at the camera from his spot sitting at the edge of your bed and, to their credit, both the other men tried to look unsurprised.

“We were playing Mario kart together, getting out all the aggression from the track.” You explained, over-gesturing with your hands. They both nodded and ‘ahh-ed’.

“So anyways, here’s the bathroom.” You led them into the bathroom, did a little tour, showing them around the room. You opened a few drawers, forgetting about the one that held Yuki’s toiletries bag and quickly slamming it shut. You met their curious looks with a quick “Can’t reveal my hair-care secrets!” And tried to carry on.

You took them through the small kitchenette, showing them the teabags you brought from home and showing them the high quality green tea bags Yuki bought you as a gift. You asked if they wanted a tea and the cameraman took you up on the offer, so eventually you were brewing four teas, one for every person in your room.

Eventually you all moved to the dining table beside your bed, the cameraman setting up his camera to face your bed with you in front of it before you were asked some relatively normal, non-invasive questions which you really appreciated. Yuki was also asked some questions, mostly about how good he is at Mario kart.

You ended up giving them a small tour of the bed, not much to see there. You took them through your switch, let them play a game on it, before eventually showing them the view from the hotel room, letting them onto the balcony.

As they surveyed the view, Yuki came up behind you, quickly muttering into your ear a complaint that they were taking too long. You rested your head back on his shoulder and murmured that they would be gone soon.

And they were, with a final sweep of the room and a panned shot of you sitting at the table watching Yuki play Mario Kart, they were out, thanking you for the tea and for being such a good host.

The second you had closed and locked the door, Yuki was at your back, missing your neck and grabbing at your waist to lead to your bed. You smiled and let yourself be walked backwards before he turned you around and kissed your lips.

“Been holding back for an hour lovely.” He whispered as he subtly pushed you backwards onto the bed, you landing with an ‘umph’ which he released a giggle at.

“Mhhmm I’m sorry about that.” You responded to his previous statement. “I thought it was another day.”

“It’s ok.” He said as crawled over you, beginning to mouth at your ear. “Just means I get less time to fuck you, yeah?” You groaned in response and he laughed at you.

“If people knew how much of a smooth talker you were…” You trailed off as he continued down from your ear to your neck to your collarbones, leaving small bites as he went.

“Lucky they don’t, means I get to use this.” He said smugly before leaning over to the bedside table and retrieving a condom. You rolled your eyes, a fond smile playing on your lips, as he flashed the condom at you. He reached back to place the condom back on the table and moved back to you.

Wait. Hold on.

Yuki continued to kiss down, leaving small nibbles on your collarbones as your eyes shot open.

Oh fuck.

You released a loud gasp and Yuki pulled back and looked up, worried.

“I’m sorry! Are you ok…?” He trailed off at your flabbergasted expression as you both sat up.

“Yuki.” You began, grabbing his shoulders.

“Did you reach in the drawer to grab that or not?” You asked, drawing him close to you. His face immediately paled as he took in the implications of what you said. He scrambled to move closer to the edge of the mattress, turning to look at the side table.

“I swear I reached in, didn’t I?” He said, turning to you but you could only look on in horror.

“There’s no way right?” He started. “We didn’t just film a room tour with a condom on the side table?”

You groaned, grinding the heels of your palms into your eyes as you learnt back into the bed, hoping the mattress would swallow you whole. Yuki let out an incredulous laugh, barely registering the hand you slapped his thigh with.

“What do we do?” You eventually asked, staring at the roof.

“I have no clue.” He said as you rolled to face him. His face softened as he reached out a hand to put on the side of your face.

“We might have to tell people.” You groaned in despair, closing your eyes. The last thing you wanted was for people to think the only female driver was fucking the other drivers. You were only fucking one.

You also didn’t want to have to deal with HR and the complications that would pose, you’d mentioned Franz Tost as a joke but damn. You really don’t want to have to deal with all the questions about your loyalty to the company and if you were just there because of Yuki.

Saying that, you were also reminded that you’d have to face the media and twitter if you confirmed it. Cheers to more speculations as to whether you were the gridwhore or the gridslut. Somehow the same thing with different names.

To be fair, you'd have to face the media anyway in this scenario. You couldn’t just chase them down and ask them to do the story again ‘just because’ and you were certain some eagle-eyed fan would definitely notice the package in the original video anyway. Yuki interrupted your thoughts by speaking.

“You know I’d fistfight someone for you?” You opened your eyes to face his genuine ones, the seriousness of his face causing you to smile.

“I know. I’d do the same for you.” The smile he had in return caused you to grab the hand he was holding your face in and turn your face to kiss it.

“I could call Pierre, he’d probably know what to do.” You immediately scoffed, closing your eyes and laughing into Yuki’s hand as you grasped it.

“I’m serious! He might have some sort of way for it to be passed off as something else!”

“Darling, I’m not sure about that.” You were careful to make your voice not sound condescending.

“You never know!” He said, pulling away (which you did definitely not whine at) and grabbing his phone from the table, quickly dialling Pierre’s number.

You watched as Yuki paced, giving you a thumbs up when the call went through. The loud blasting club music through the phone did clue you in to that though.

“Hi Pierre!” He started and you watched as he moved from foot-to-foot.

“I’m glad to hear that.” He said and then continued. “Sorry to take you away from your party but I have a question.”

A pause.

“Ah ok. If you needed to pass off a condom wrapper as something else, what would you choose?” Yuki said, giving you another thumbs up.

The raucous laughter Pierre released was heard through the phone (he really ought to turn the volume down) and it made you start to giggle, especially as Yuki furrowed his eyebrows.

“Of course I’m serious!” He said, starting to pace again.

“Why? We accidentally had one out on the side table when a room tour was taking place.” He explained as he finally sat down after you patted the space in front of you on the bed.

“What? Who? You know who!” He said and you tilted your head in confusion. He sighed before muttering into the phone.

“Yes, the person I had a crush on the whole last year. Go away.” You tilted your head back as a wave of elation washed over you, it was always nice to know the people you want, want you too. Even if you’d been dating, it’s still nice to know.

Pierre’s reaction to this could also be heard through the phone, a loud “WHAT?” that had Yuki sighing before hanging up. He took a second before looking at you.

“Useless.” He simply said and it was enough to send you into a minutes long laughing fit. He giggled along with you, though he admittedly found it a lot less funny.

“So there’s nothing we can do?” You asked and he nodded.

“Seems like we just have to let things run their course.” You nodded in agreement, already having mentally prepared yourself.

“However…” You looked up at the tone of his voice.

“We could… Y’know… use the condom?” He said and you started to giggle again before nodding.

“Seems the only acceptable course.” You replied and he smiled before climbing back onto the bed.

yukitsunoda0511 first race in the books with redbullracing, there’s work to be done but i’m excited to keep improving and building from here. i would also like to thank everyone for all the support! racing at home in Japan is such a privilege, and even if we didn’t get the result we wanted, I’m so grateful to everyone for all the love i received this weekend 🙏

The lights had dimmed and almost all the guests had already left the party. The few left were lingering on the sides of the room, too drunk to notice the lovesick couple still swaying slowly in the middle of the dance floor, hands never leaving each other's bodies.

Yuki’s palms rested on your waist gently but firmly, like he would never let you go, but was also too afraid to hold on too tightly. You had your arms on his shoulders, hands clasped together behind his neck, keeping him close.

You were soaking in every moment of tonight as the first day you were reunited with Yuki after weeks. You’d missed him more than you cared to admit, but he was beyond adamant with how much he had missed you. In every glance, touch, and smile you could feel the warmth behind them. Yuki acted as if you had hung the stars in the sky just for him, and tonight, he would do anything you wanted.

He wasn’t much of a dancer, and it normally took more than one man’s persistence to get him up from his seat during a party. But with you, he found himself being the first one to ask you to dance. The party went by all too fast, or maybe the time was blurred with the glasses of alcohol you both downed. 

Now nearing the end of it, he wished he could pause the moment and have unrushed time to admire you in all your perfect beauty. Your fancy dress that you wore just for him. Makeup done to perfection, drawing his eyes from your eyes to your cheeks to your tempting lips, and then back up to your eyes again. Yuki could barely wrap his head around how you managed to look this pretty, much less how you were really truly all his.

It was almost too good to be true.

But it was true, and Yuki could feel it in the grounding nature of your touch on the skin of his neck, or the twinkle in your eyes as you looked at him, or the adoring smile that graced your lips. Somehow, he was the cause of it all.

“I don’t want this moment to end,” he whispered, entranced by you completely as you guided him through the mindless motions of the slow dance. It was bliss. No one to interrupt or observe the private moment. No one to disturb the perfection in your gaze.

“Then don’t let it,” you replied easily, as if you had all the answers to every question Yuki could ponder upon. 

“I don’t know how I got so lucky with you,” Yuki breathed, letting your hands pull his face closer to you until his forehead rested against yours.

“I think you’d rather be luckier to ever get rid of me,” you teased, and Yuki smiled knowingly. 

After being attached at the hip for your entire childhood, it would’ve been more shocking to everyone if you ever decided to date someone other than each other. He was always a part of your life, always the centre of your world. The busy and hectic schedules of races were as familiar to him as they were to you, even though you had never tried your hand at racing. But you watched him from the beginning, cheering him on as he achieved his dreams and reached for greater highs. Through all the success and failures, you were always there beside him. And it felt right. Yuki couldn’t imagine his life any different.  

Yuki didn’t consider himself a particularly patient man. He was willing to wait when he needed to, but when there was something he wanted right in front of him, he wasn’t going to hold back. So it wasn’t surprising when he leant up to kiss you like he had never known patience in his life, but you melted into him without a second to spare. His lips moving against yours resembled your dance the entire night. It was messy and uncoordinated at times, but it came from undeniable devotion, and that was all you could feel spilling from his plush lips. He loved you with everything he had and there was nothing more earnest than that. 

And when you pulled back from the kiss, giggling as you tried to wipe the smudge of lipstick that had gotten on his lips, Yuki felt like he was on cloud nine. So consumed by his love for you that he was sure he could float up to heaven any second. Or maybe he was already there. Maybe this was what heaven felt like.

it’s a bittersweet ending for Pierre, one last time riding along side his best friend. the season was a rollercoaster, it always is, but Pierre is excited to move forward and be out of Red Bulls grasp once and for all.

“that’s it for us.” yuki leans against his friends shoulder, hair tickling his friends chin, “aren’t you going to miss me?”

Pierre laughs, “miss you? no!” he jokes, shoving the Japanese man off of his body trying to get up from the booth of the table they are situated at.

the drinks keep flowing, sake is being shoved down his throat while they listen to others sing karaoke. the girl on the stage has Pierre mesmerized, the guy she came with left hated the public embarrassment she was bringing to him, so she and Charlotte both sang together, instantly clicking.

the songs over, and Pierre pushes himself up from the seat, swerving around the tables and people, meeting you in the middle, “I knew you were looking at me.” you say, index finger pulling his shirt collar closer to you.

“hard to look away,” he pushes the hair out of your face, “you’re just too hot.” he tries to press his lips against yours, but you pull away.

“get me a drink first then you can kiss me.”

and he does, but he gets you so much more than that. more than what you can say thank you for, because the way he’s treating is better than the guy you came with.

he works you slow, hand moves up your thigh, you hardly notice until his finger nails are pulling on the fabric of your panties. it’s when you turn around from giggling with Charlotte to see what he’s doing, “you have a mind of your own, don’t you?”

“you want to get out of here?” his voice is low, fingers pushing your hair off your shoulder you can’t help but nod you can’t say a word.

and you basically don’t the whole night, the only thing that comes from you are moans and gasps while he goes at you all night. he’s big, what did you expect? of all the rumors you’ve heard, they were true, he was ten times better than you ever expected him to be.

he moves slow, takes his time discovering every inch and area of you, it makes you twitch and squirm, he’s so good at that. he knows how to make you whine, how to make you cum in a matter of seconds, he’s just that good.

you don’t think anybody could be better than that.

when you wake up the next morning, the person you see is half who you expected to see. how did you end up here? how’d you end up in his bed and not the others? what happened that you don’t remember?

when you turn over to look at the nightstand for the time, you’re met with bottles of sake in your field of vision making you moan. this is how you ended up here.

“time?” he asks, thick Japanese accent shining through, he lets out a raspy groan when you don’t reply fast enough. the phone in between you both lights up and instantly he reaches for it.

“no, no I’m fine. yeah she’s here, why do you ask?” he pulls the phone away from his ear and over to yours. you don’t even have time to make a reaction before the cold device is held against your ear.

“ah cherie, have fun last night? I did, and I’m sure yuki did too! quite a show I’ll say, singing and all.” he chuckles, the sound of his laughter sends a pounding to your head. you want him to stop, but you can barely vocalize your needs without feeling a fire in your throat and the nausea wave through your body.

you’re mumbling trying to find words to come out of your mouth, but your voice box cracks and nothing comes. those boys must’ve truly broke you, you think to yourself.

when you look over at the man beside you, who’s now peacefully asleep once again, some of it floods back. how he held you while you rode him, the way his hand pressed against your throat, and how he had you begging on your knees. it’s the minor details you remember, but it’s clearly why you’re in this state in the first place.

“enjoy your slumber with yuki, I’ll come get you tonight. wear that black dress you were talking about, I still have those heels of yours you claim that match.”
